Multiple Subscription: 1 Landlines + 1 Landlines&M...

Dear Support,
I'd like to ask you what's going to happen if I buy Multiple Subscription: 1 Landlines + 1 Landlines&Mobile to the same country.
I explain better.
If I only have Landlines&Mobile to one country, then I've, for example, only 400 min to use to mobiles AND landlines.
I would like to have those 400 min only for MOBILE and use the Landlines subscription to call all the landlines number - Keeping them separatelly in the same account.
Is that possible?
Otherwise I need to make 2 different skype account and use one for landlines, and one for mobile (that's also for landlines).
Please let us know how it works.
Thanks

As so listed in the following faq, you will use two subscriptions both within your one account as you plan; one Landlines&Mobil 400min and the other Landlines Unlimited or more than 400min.
+++
If I have an unlimited subscription (for landlines) and a limited subscription (for mobiles and landlines), when making a call to a landline, which minutes will be used?
The subscription with the most minutes at any given time will be used. So in this case, it would be the unlimited subscription as this offers unlimited* calls to landlines.
If you have two different limited subscriptions, the subscription with the highest number of available minutes will be used.
For example, if you have a World 400 and an Australia Landlines 120, and you make a call to an Australian landline, the World 400 would be used over the Australia Landlines 120.

As the explanation in this faq is somewhat ambiguous or rather confusing in my view, it is not certain what will happen if you will choose Landlines&Mobil 400min and Landlines 400min. I shall look forward to hearing from the knowledgable persons in this concern.

  • Subscription for calling landlines and voicemail options?

I was wondering if i got a skype number if people would be able to call me and leave me messages in the same fashion as a typical landline and answering machine, and if they can is there a limit for the ammount of voice messages i can receive? Also if they can leave messages when i am not logged into skype? I need to know because I am going to be transcribing reports for a relative and he would need to leave me multiplie messages a day and he would need to be able to leave me a voice message at any time. Thank you.

    Hello Allen,
If you purchase Landlines and Mobiles subscription then both landlines and mobiles are charged the same way.
I would recommend purchasing both subscription because then when you call landlines number Skype will automatically use Landlines subscription and when calling mobiles then Skype will use Landlines and Mobiles subscription.
Keep in mind that if subscription for landlines runs out then still landlines and mobiles subscription is used. Choose the amount of minutes based on which numbers you call the most.

  • How do I merge multiple subscriptions to the same podcast?

In iTunes I have multiple subscriptions to the same identical podcast (same podcast name and same url) ... some of the subscriptions have duplicated entries and some have unique entries ... (how this happened I have no idea, but that is beside the point) ... my question is how do I merge these multiple subscriptions into a single podcast subscription? I have tried cut & paste in the hope that I could then delete (unsubscribe) to all of the redundant/repeated subscriptions, but that does not work ... in explorer I have found that ALL my podcast files from ALL my podcast subscriptions are found in a single folder .. so all the entries from my multiple subscriptions are there as well ... this smoked my hope that each podcast subscription would have it's own folder or sub-folder ... so I'm stuck ... does anyone know how I can merge multiple subscriptions to the same podcast into a single podcast subscription (without my losing the uniques scattered throuhout the mutiple subscriptions) ... ???

I would love to be able to do exactly what you are suggesting .. the problem is, if I delete the duplicate subscriptions, I lose the unique files unique to the duplicate subscription I delete ... the problem is that I can't find a way to save/move the uniques (in advance of deleting the duplicate subscription) into a single subscription ... is there a way to do this ??? Does anyone know how to do this ??? Please help !!!

  • Multiple Subscription Package Confusion

I have a 400 min subscription to Australia, but find I'm using about 2 x that per month, however when I look at adding another (of the same) it appears the second dosn't kick in until the first one's billing period has expired, which dosn't really make sense as won't the first one be renewed and active again then?
I see if I add a different (# of minutes) subscription it'd kick in immediatly after the first ran out of minutes, (what I need) but they're only available in 120min packages.
Is that the best option? It's more expensive than another 400min sub, but I just can't see how to get two x 400min subs working "back to back".

    Hi Caniwi,
Upon reading FAQ's it shows that we can have identical subscriptions with the same number of minutes however it will be active once the currect one expires. If you want the minutes to be activated right away, you should choose a different number of minutes.
    Support page says:
For example, if you buy a Brazil 120 minutes subscription on the 1st of the month, and use all your minutes by the 20th, then buy a Brazil 60 minutes subscription, you can start using the Brazil 60 minutes subscription right away. You don't have to wait until the billing period for the first subscription has come to an end.
For more information, please see Support Page: Can I Have Multiple Subscriptions
I hope this information is helpful.

  • Multiple subscriptions

I have 3 subscriptions: (a) a top-up subscription for one specific country in Europe; (b) 60 minutes a month of international calls I got with Office 365 and (c) a 400 minutes a month subscription for calls within Brazil. I live in Brazil.
Whenever I call within Brazil (i.e., a domestic call), skype first uses the credits in the 60 minutes a month I got with Office 365. I would obviously prefer it to use my 400 minutes a month (subscription c), so that I can save the Office 365 minutes for international calls from Brazil.
Is it possible to make skype do this?
    Tks in advance,

    Hi Shahid,
    Thanks for posting here.
I am afraid to mention that you cannot merge multiple subscriptions into one.

  • Do I need multiple subscriptions?

We are delivery content to a number of regions. Each region has a Signiant drop folder on the XSAN. I want my editors to tick a box to specific which region an asset should go to.
Currently I have Metadata Group "regional delivery list" with Boolean values(true/false) for each region. I can see that I can set up a subscription that can trigger a copy response if the value changes from false to true. But would I need to set up multiple subscriptions and multiple copy responses for each region (total of ten) for FCSvr to export the asset to the device/signiant drop folder?
    Thank you in advance.

In the project I'm working on now I have the same issue: 7 destinations (7 folders in a server)
If the 10 regions you have are 10 DIFFERENT folders on your Xsan then you need 1 subscription for each folder since the copy response is different in every case.
On the other hand if you use the same transcoding in all the regions (or no trancoding at all) and you trust the people in all the regions, then you can make 1 single destination and give them access to take what they want and nothing else. (we have 7 destinations but in some there are like 10 different user that take what they need and leave the rest)
    Good luck

  • Subscriber Belongs To Multiple Subscriptions

A user belongs to two different groups and each of them is a separate subscriber. There are also two subscriptions, each including one of these subscribers. Question is, would that user receive two emails for the same alert since they belong to two subscriptions
both of which are configured for those alerts. Does SCOM have a priority with subscriptions where it uses the first one in a list or? As in this article
https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/systemcenter/en-US/aadd0dc4-5497-48b6-8004-7faa72060f37/multiple-subscriptions-to-same-alert-scom-2012?forum=operationsmanagergeneral.  If not and two emails will be sent out is there a way to setup a subscription
to exclude certain criteria rather than include? Therefore I can trim down the subscription criteria that way and prevent the other one from sending an email by using exclusions.

For how to configure subscription in excluding certain criteria, you may refer to my blog

  • Unlimited subscription to Mexico landline not conn...

First I bought $10.00 of credit to call to Mexico at a landline, the credit ran out in less than 1.5hr! So I decided to buy an unlimited subscription (to connect to a landline number)... and now everytime I try to connect, I get a message that I don't have credit and I need to get some or buy a subscription!?! Well, I've bough the unlimited subscription (for the full year!) and I sill cannot connect... from my pc nor my mobil!!!
The number I'm tryi g to connect to has the are code of 522... any suggestions on what's wrong or what to do???

    Hi,
Your account shows that you have purchased.
    This subscription covers 3 cities:
    Mexico - Monterrey
    Mexico - Mexico City
    Mexico - Guadalajara
Based on your call history it seems you are not calling these 3 cities. Your call history:
    https://secure.skype.com/account/call-history
If you wish to call outside of these 3 cities then you need 60/120 or 400minutes subscription from: http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/prices/pay-monthly/#MX
If needed customer service can help you with the switch:

  • Subscriptions that covers landline calls but still...

I have unlimited international calling to landlines in the US and Mexico, but I keep getting charged for calling my home phone that is a landline. The phone has always been a landline, never transfered to a mobile. Can I get this fixed?

    Hi,
Your call history shows that last calls to Mexico were covered by your subscription, but calls to US are not.
Currently don't have a subscription that would cover US calls. You can check your account: https://secure.skype.com/account/
Subscriptions for US can be found: http://www.skype.com/go/subscriptions
In case you were charged for Mexico calls please provide call details from your call history to customer service: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA1170/How-can-I-contact-Skype-Customer-Service

You have Morocco 60 min to landlines which only covers calls to landlines and this is why your calls are not going through to mobiles.
Your can check this from your order history: https://secure.skype.com/account/purchase/history/orders
Now, if you need to switch it then please request a refund from Skype Customer Service and purchase a new one that includes calls to mobile phones.

  • Premium subscription and calling landlines

I have a premium subscription and I cant call landlines when I try it says must add credit or buy a subscription!!!  Whats going on!!!!

    dizzle wrote:

Did you pick a specific country for your unlimited calling to landlines?  If so, which country?  And what number are you trying to reach (omit the last 4 digits - we don't need to see the full number).
The problems may be related to the number you are trying to reach.  If the number is a mobile number, it would not be covered by Skype Premium.  You'd have to either have Skype Credit on your account, or purchase an additional subscription to cover calls to mobile phones in a particular country (if a subscription is available for that country).  The other issue may be that many countries have special classes of numbers that are not considered "landlines" in the context of any Skype subscription.  These numbers are usually referred to as "special service" or "shared cost" numbers.  They may be landline phones, but with different rate structures.  Examples of these include 0845 and 0870 numbers in the UK and 13 and 1300 numbers in Australia.  These special numbers are only reachable using Skype Credit.  You can usually see what some of these numbers are when you look at the "pay as you go" link at the bottom of this page, and select specific countries.
    Hope that helps!

I have checked support network, but I am doing everthing right that I can tell. Can you help me?
    Andrea

  • With multiple subscriptions, Skype does not charge...

I have two subscriptions and Skype credit that cover calls to the same country, but Skype is not smart enough to charge to the cheapest rate. I have both "land line - 400 mins ", and "land line and mobile phone - 60 mins" subscriptions.  When I call a land line, it charges the higher rate subscription "land line and mobile phone."  It should charge the cheaper rate "land line" subscription instead.

I am about to relocate and will be calling both landlines and mobiles in Australia, so this issue also seems to affect me.
I want to buy the "unlimited landlines Australia" or "Unlimited World" subscriptions, plus the 400 minutes "mobiles & landlines Australia" subscription so I hope that in the year since your enquiry, Skype got smarter.
