Multiple tempo maps?

Does anyone know anything about having multiple tempo maps in one Logic Song?
Word on the street is that you can have several folders (each containing the copies of the same tracks), and each folder can have it's own tempo, as well as changes.
Anyone?

It's not a folder thing AFAIK. The feature you're
looking for is called "Tempo Alternatives". If you
open the tempo window you'll find it located in one
of the local menus in that window.
Also a feature of Global Tracks-Tempo although I prefer the Tempo List personally.

  • In XI Mapping multiple fields mapping to single target field.

    Hi Friends,
    In XI Mapping multiple fields mapping to single target field.
    For example my requirement is :
    Source Fields:(This RFC BAPI Structure)
    Empno                0-1
    EmpName           0-1
    Address             0-1
    Taget Field is:
    Details               0-1
    The above three fields passed to the Details Field. Here i am using Concat function
    But i have one query on that on,Every field having "line Break" required.
    Can you please help me out above this requirement.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Sateesh N.

    If you want a line break between the three fields, then try
    passing a,b,c to the udf and in the udf you would have
    return a+"\n"+b+"\n"+c;

  • Dynamic Tempo Mapping In Audition CC

    Hello Adobe,
    I've seen various forum postings about this in the past, but nothing very recently.  I just downloaded the latest version of Audition CC.  It looks great, a lot of cool new features, but I wanted to reiterate on past postings that dynamic tempo mapping functionality would be extremely useful.  It doesn't need to be anything too fancy.  Just need to be able to tell Audition that after 30 bars of 4/4 at 120 bpm, I'd like the metronome and bars/beats display to change to 3/4 at 130 bpm etc.
    Just want to bump this back onto your radar.  Thanks.
    -Brendan

    I've used the Ozone with Audition in the past (we're talking about the keyboard/audio combo device, right?) and it's been fine.  If you're seeing the playhead move and the level meters update when attempting to play through it, that means the communication should be there.
    Any chance you can show us screenshots of the "Audio Hardware" and "Audio Channel Mapping" panels in the preferences dialog?  That might help get started.

  • "Multiple Tempo Events Detected" -- Propblem with Logic and Reason

    I have just migrated from a MacBookProp to a MacPro. All seems well except for the rewiring of Reason. When I rewire, I get the error message in Logic "Multiple Tempo Events Selected" asking if I want to review the list. Since no song is open in Reason, this would appear to be some kind of glitch. Also, there is a huige amount of latency between Reason and Logic. When I have just Reason open, there is no latency at all when I play. the same in Logic when I create a software instrument. But in rewire mode, it is about half a second! Any advice and help would be appreciated.

    Update on this: the tempo issue was relegated to one project where there was a tempo change within Logic, so I apologize. But I still have a tremendous amount of latency between the two programs.

  • Multiple Message Mapping

    Hello Guru,
    I am doing a multiple message mapping. the purpose is:
    the source message structure is
    MT_input
    |row <1...unbound>
    |---plant
    |---name
    the two target message structure are:
    MT_output1
    -|row <1...unbound>
    |---plant1
    |---name1
    MT_output2
    -|row <1...unbound>
    |---plant2
    |---name2
    there can be many row in source message, the value of plant could be 1 and 2.
    I want all rows with plant = "1" goto MT_output1,
    all rows with plant = "2" goto MT_output2.
    but I can not accomplished this job with graphic mapping. could you give me help?
    I don't want to use Java Mapping.
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi,
      MT_input
    |row <1...unbound>
    |---plant
    |---name
    the two target message structure are:
    MT_output1
    -|row <1...unbound>
    |---plant1
    |---name1
    MT_output2
    -|row <1...unbound>
    |---plant2
    |---name2
    solution :
    MT_input                                                 MT_output1
    -|row <1...unbound>                            |row <1...unbound>
    if the plant[context set to MT_input] is equals to 1 then map row from source to row in target[MT_output1]
    plant and name mapping are direct.
    Repeat the same mapping for MT_output2.
    This definitely works, i have tried it.

  • Multiple Toplink Mapping files

    Hi All,
    I have 8 modules in my project, I would like to maintain separate toplink mapping file and persistence-config.xml file for each module.
    Ex: in struts we can have separate struts-config.xml file for each module like  struts-admin-config.xml, struts-moderator-config.xml, struts-dashboard-config.xml files and we will configure those information in web.xml file for Actionservlet input params.
    Is it possible to have multiple toplink mapping files and persistence configuration files for each module in a project.
    Thanks & Regards,
    B.V.Suresh Babu.

    Thanks a lot for your direction!
    I am using xtreme framework alongwith Toplink. I use codegen tool to generate extreme BOM (business object model) classes. I an unable to introduce my logic as you suggested to use Direct Mapping.
    I am not able to find more details and/or complete example to use any of your suggested approach. Please do send me any stuff you can send for the same.

  • Multiple Table Mapping To Single Entity in Workshop 8.1

    I've taken a test run on creating entity beans with workshop 8.1, although mapping
    an CMP entity to a single database table looks to be relatively straightforward,
    I can't seem to find a way to map multiple database tables to a single CMP entity
    (at least not via workshop). Do I have to manually modify the deployment descriptors
    after building with workshop?

    Thanks, John.

    Is there any example of using ejbgen to map single EJB to multiple tables?
    Jingwei... I found this at: http://www.beust.com/cedric/ejbgen/#multiple-table-mapping
    By default, Entity beans are mapped to one table, with the attribute
    table-name
    on the tag @ejbgen:entity. If you want to map your Entity bean to more
    than one
    table, you can use the table-name attribute on individual @ejbgen:cmp-fields.
    All the CMP fields that do not have a table-name attribute will use the
    table
    specified on @ejbgen:entity (which can therefore be considered as the
    "default"
    table).
    If you want to map an Entity bean to several tables, you need to specify
    a comma-separated
    list of tables in the table-name attribute (and also on column). For
    example:
    * @ejbgen:cmp-field
    * column = "bal1, bal2"
    * table-name = "Table1, Table2"
    Make sure that the number of tables matches the number of columns, and
    that the
    columns exist in the corresponding table (for example, in the example
    above, Table1
    must contain column bal1, and Table2, bal2).

  • Importing midi tempo map in Logic Pro

    my friend did a midi tempo map of a audio file. sent me .midi file but can't get it to open if logic. how you import it into a exitsting project?
    thanks

    Hi
    There are 2 ways to get a MIDI file into Logic:
    A) File:Import (or drag and drop from the Finder, use the Browser, etc).
    This imports all the basic MIDI events, but ignores tempo, time signature and such,
    B) File:Open
    This creates a new project with all the tempo data.
    To import this tempo data into an existing project, copy the tempo events from the tempo list in the 'MIDI' project, and paste into your project.

  • Create a Tempo Map to Song recorded without click

    i just received a logic project with guitars and vocals which were recorded to no click. whats the simples way to create a tempo map so i can program to it
    thanks

    record a midi track where you tap the tempo like a conductor, using like a simple click sound or whatever. play it as best you can in time with the music, then edit the clicks so they are perfectly in time or at least as good as you can get it. then use the beat mapping function (I think that is what it's called) to create a tempo map from the midi notes you recorded. that should do it. you can also fine tune the tempo map you've created by opening the global tempo track view and moving the tempo sync points around. there's stuff in the manual on this, you should find it if you search beatmapping or global tempo track.. somewhere in there.

  • Multiple payload mapping in zip file..

    Hi,
    is it possible to map multiple Payloads in one XI Message?
    My Source File is a zip (xml files) I unziped it in Sender CC
    I have message structure as this in my integration server
    XI Message
    - payload 1
    - payload 2
    As there are multiple structure(different structure) in zip file, I can't create Message structure.
    I want to map every file in zip seperately and send it to different location.
    I used 2 Interface Mapping and also in interface determination try to select the Interface Mapping based on the file name in zip file. But I m getting error Unable to find the Inbound structure at Interface determination.
    If I won't give any condition in interface determination. the first payload is getting mapped.
    So, is it possible in general to get multi payloads mapped without BPM?
    My Questions are:--
    +How to create a structure for Input message (All the files in zip have different structure).?+
       +Why am I getting error "Unable to find the Inbound structure" at Interface determination even though I m giving the correct file name for both.+
      +Is it possible using java mapping...? If yes then please throw some light....+
    Thanks and best regards

    I have different structure at the receiver end also. for every file in zip folder there will be different mapping.
    you may unzip the files at a temporary location.
    Is there any way I can hold the files(in one zip folder) in PI after unzipping and process ony by one..

  • Single IDOC to Multiple Interface Mapping

    We have a requirement in our project where one masterdata IDOC will be sent from a SAP MDM box and will be transformed to a target IDOC and be sent to an SAP SNC box. However, the scenario is that depending on the contents of the IDOC, there can be multiple IDOCs that need to be created. For example, the single MDM IDOC has V1, V2 and V3 values then the IDOCS that should be sent to the SAP SNC box should be three.
    The IT head of the customer decided against using Enhanced Interface Determination (since the problem can be easily solved using a 1:n mapping) due to the complexity especially when the solution is rolled out to other regions as each region has it's own logic (currently, the other implementation has only 1:1 mapping so there is no problem). I had developed a 1:n mapping but the resulting map is too big and very complex.
    What I tried to do is to create separate mappings for each scenario that an IDOC needs to be generated out of the values from the received IDOC in XI and then define rules in the Interface Determination. Problem is that XI throws an error stating that multiple interfaces are found. So I cannot use Interface Determination to trigger creation of multiple IDOCS of the same type with different values from a single IDOC sent by the same SAP box.
    Question is, is there any way to solve this requirement without using Enhanced Receiver Determination. I was thinking of BPM but not really sure how to do it.
    Thanks in advance!
    Best Regards,

    Hewlett Packard Asia-Pacific, Ltd.

    Thanks a lot for that.
    For example, We have this input Message:
    <ZMATMA>
      <IDOC>
        <E1MARAM>
           <E1MARMM>
               <MEINH>IT</MEINH>
           </E1MARMM>
           <E1MARMM>
               <MEINH>CS</MEINH>
           </E1MARMM>
           <E1MARMM>
               <MEINH>SW</MEINH>
           </E1MARMM>
        </E1MARAM>
      </IDOC>
    </ZMATMA>
    then there should be an output of:
    <SAVEMULTIPLE204>
      <IDOC>
        <BUOM>IT</BUOM>
      </IDOC>
    </SAVEMULTIPLE204>
    <SAVEMULTIPLE204>
      <IDOC>
        <BUOM>CS</BUOM>
      </IDOC>
    </SAVEMULTIPLE204>
    <SAVEMULTIPLE204>
      <IDOC>
        <BUOM>SW</BUOM>
      </IDOC>
    </SAVEMULTIPLE204>
    The logic is when the MEINH field of the ZMATMA02 IDOC has the values: IT, CS and SW, create one IDOC for each.
    Thanks in advance!

  • Manage multiple structure mapping

    Hello all,
    i have a scenario MAIL -> PI -> MAIL.
    I am working with standard XSD with multiple external references and namespaces for my outbound and inbound structureq. All messages have different structures that i cannot merge because of different namespace untouchable.
    I have a Sender Mail Adapter in order to read my mailbox with an interface filling in it.
    I know the interface i need to use only when i am reading a specific field in the mail attachment.
    My problem is that the interface in the CC refers to one Interface mapping while i need something dynamic. I cannot use also condition in receiver determination or interface determination due to my standard structure.
    I would like something to allow me to choose what Interface mapping i use... I recall that each XSD structure are different, this is the main problem for me.
    It must be a way to do it but i don't find it, someone got an idea ?
    Thanks,
    Jean-Philippe

    OK, if you always have the same receiver, you should give the condition in the interface determination. On which PI version are you working?
    In fact PI doesn't care as much about real fitting interface structures as long as you do not wish to do validation or so. You just have to configure things right. E.g. you can chose as interface the IDoc WBBDLD04, but you give the PI an INVOIC01. If you just transport the message, nobody cares.
    Now, if you read the mails from your mailbox with a dummy interface, you actually don't know, what's in your message. You're sending the message always to the same receiver system, so you don't have to give any condition here. Now in interface determination, you give all the interfaces that possibly could be on the inbound side. For each interface you now have to put a condition, where you check with an xpath expression, if it is maybe a WBBDLD04 or an INVOIC01 or a DELVRY03 or whatever you have to check.

  • XML Gateway - XGM Mapping - Multiple NOTES Mapping

    Hi
    One of our Inbound transaction having Multiple NOTES. They are coming like below
    <NOTES index="1">PM~#*$PART DESCRIPTION7050-T76511</NOTES>
    <NOTES index="2">CR~#*$FOLLOW-UP COMMENTSMGE16424 17P6W6530-532</NOTES>
    <NOTES index="3">H7~#*$ITEM PURCHASE CLAUSES- GENERAL TERMS </NOTES>
    And notes count is not fixed. They may be starting from 1 to 99.
    As per user requirement they are maximum 5. I want to map these Note values to ATTRIBUTE 1 to 5 field columns.
    When I mapped these columns on condition based like this
    When index = 1 then map to attribute1
    When Index = 2 then Map to Attribute2
    ......like upto Attribute5
    But mapping is only considering last NOTES and populating only last Index NOTES.
    For example: If incoming Inbound having only 3 notes then ATTRIBUTE3 is only getting value remaining ATTRIBUTE1 AND ATTRIBUTE2 is not getting populated.
    How can get values for other ATTRIBUTES also.

  • Need flex time help, lots of songs, lots of BPM's multiple tempos

    Newbie here, trying to finally make the switch from Pro Tolls to Logic and flex time really sold me but I'm having some growing pains that I need to speed up for my current project.
    I have about 20 songs that I need to:
    first, find the bpm for each (quickly)
    second, be able to mark them in a way that the bpm for each song would change to match the tempo track (which will fluctuate through out the editing process)
    third, some how still have control of the anchor point in flex time which seems to get locked
    In the end I am trying to create a remix of multiple songs that start off with different bpm's and fluctuating tempo.
    I am able to do most of this but I think I am missing some steps, or perhaps the order of steps, that would make this process go much faster. I have worked other programs such as Ableton Live and elastic time in Pro Tools and at times it seems I can handle whole songs better in those programs than in Logic but I'm sure it more user error than the actual program.
    I welcome any and all suggestions. Thanks.

    Received this advice and responded on another forum but still need help.
    Thanks for the response!
    Had a few problems trying your suggestions.
    *"Finding BPM: select the audio region and choose from the local Arrange area menu: Audio > Detect Tempo."*
    Since it is a whole song and not just a part, such as drums, with well defined transients, it either can't detect the tempo or when it does it is wrong.
    *"Make it follow the tempo track: Use Flex Time (in the track parameters, choose a Flex mode). "*
    This would be fine if I didn't have to redefine all the transient markers as correct flex markers. Since Flex Time has problems defining the correct transient markers for complete songs it can be very time consuming.
    Maybe I'm still missing something?
    *"Third: what anchor? Do you mean the transient? Or the flex markers? You can move the transients in the Sample editor, and the Flex markers right on the track in Flex view (Click the Flex button in your toolbar)."*
    The audio region anchor in the sample edit window, the orange arrow. I think this is some how turned off after turning on flex time and I am unable to move it. I use this to line up the first beat if there is something before the music starts, such as someone speaking or a lead in with a different tempo than the song tempo, that I would still like to keep. That way I can move the region in the arrange window and it will line up according to the first beat and not the beginning of the region. Am I making any sense?

  • Multiple POST-MAPPING Processes Code Generation BUG

    We are testing OWB 10gR2, and we were very happy to see that there is option to include more than one postmapping operator.
    The idea is to create mapping with two post-mapping operators and that:
    - one procedure is executed in case of 'Post-Mapping Process Run Condition' = ON ERROR
    - and other procedure in case of 'Post-Mapping Process Run Condition' = ON SUCCESS.
    But, after implementation of this case, we were dissapointed. We discover that neither procedure is executed.. ?!?!
    After analyzing generated code in 'finalize' method there is code like this:
    IF NOT get_abort THEN
    IF get_abort THEN
         BEGIN
    As you can see this condition will never bee true ?!?
    Doe's anyone have same problem?

    1) If you have somehow got multiple post-mappings working, I would consider that to be buggy behaviour that you cannot depend on for future releases or upgrades. As such, building a solution that depends on this has risk.
    2) You could always build a user-defined custom transformation that takes a list of tables to truncate and does so. Something like (untested, uncompiled, seat-of-the-pants written right here example to get you started):
    create or replace procedure trunc_tables(tablist varchar2)
    is
    local_tablist varchar2(2000) := tablist;
    this_Table varchar2(30);
    nextindex number := 1;
    begin
    nextindex := instr(local_tablist,',');
    while nextindex != 0 loop
    this_table := substr(local_tablist,1,nextindex-1);
    execute immediate 'truncate table '||this_Table;
    local_tablist := substr(local_tablist,nextindex+1);
    nextindex := instr(local_tablist,',');
    end loop;
    -- if no trailing semicolon there is still one table left
    if length(local_tablist) > 0 then
    execute immediate 'truncate table '||local_tablist;
    end if;
    end;
    You could then reference this in your post-mapping procedure with a call to trunc_Tables('table1,table2,table3'), and could re-use this code across all mapping that need it.
    Of course, if you have a lot of mapping-specific stuff to do then you might need to build custom transformations for each mapping that need to do different things as part of their post-process.
