Multiple UWL for the single user with different Role

Dear SAP Gurs,
We have one critical requirement on the Universal worklist, as a functional requirement like some Approvers will play different roles as approver, needs to track saperately the approver inboxes for the same person.
For Example :
Approver A - is an Purchase Exicutive(Role)
Approver B - Is an Purchase Manager(Role)
Every time Apporver A has to access his approval requests seperately ( Belongs to Approver A) and take action, as well Approver A has to see Approver B's actions items seperatly and take action.
currently we have 4 levels available and single person has to take action on based on the 4 different Approves(Role)
Is there any work around for the abobe requirement.

The same requirement i want to tweak in by adding one more column in the UWL by enhancing the BOR.
i have try with below , can you please suggenst can be done by Virtual attributes.
Once data is comming in the UWL i will put 3 custome filters
We need to add a new column in UWL, which is present as a Table SWWORGTASK, in this we have to pass WI_ID and get ORG_OBJ populate it as a column in UWL.
Please suggent how can we impliment this ? do we needs to create virtual ttribute in the BOR from the same.
as we have reffered the below link, we are not able to implimant the same. Kindly suggest.

I think it would be easier to enable session time out settings using GPO considering you work in a domain environment..
Having session timeouts settings you could say... hey after 15 min of inactivity disconnect the user and then after 15 min of disconnected session log him off

System needs to approve automatically when the same user has different role

Hi Gurus,
My issue relates to approval in Shopping cart.
Say this is my Issue.
This is the Approval detemined by the system.
1 - X
2 - Y
3- Z
4- X
5- Y
X & Y are the Same user but with different role in the Approvals.
First time 'X' would get the cart to approve it manually but second time system should automatically approve it. Same should happen for 'Y' as well. So now both X & Y needs to approve the cart only once.
Please advice me how to approach this issue or If anyone experience the same kind of issue please let me know how to resolve.

Multiclip on FCP 7 with timecode: multiple files for the same camera have different Angle

I have FCStudio 7 with OS 10.6.8
I just filmed a concert with 6 cameras (Sony XDCAM). They are all timecode sync'd.
For various reasons there are multiple vid files for each camera (i.e. 172_003 thru 172_006 for camera 1).
I imported into FCP 7 using SonyXDCAM plug in with no problems. Each camera file group was given its camera number as the Reel Name (i.e. Camera 1) and that camera's number as its Angle Name (i.e. 1).
Now when I try and create a multiclip using all six cameras, instead of keeping all the files for a specific camera under a single angle name it treats each file as its own camera angle. It treats each file as an individual camera instead of having the files flow as a single clip from a single camera based on their timecode. In viewer I have 8 different angles for a single camera (because of 8 files). In the make media window for multiclip, the Angle Name is different for each clip but its position is still aligned to its timecode.
I worked the same project last year and the multiple files for each camera lined up fine, based on its timecode value and camera/reel name. I can't see what has changed.
I need each camera's files to sync under that camera Angle Name, and for the files to play in the same angle spot in viewer.
All advice welcomed as I'm in a major time crunch to complete the job.

Well why not just prebuild each angle in its own sequence with sequence timecode matching the source timecode? Export with current settings and import these files back into fcp and then create your multiclip.

Multiple layouts for the same user in the same portal

Hello.
I have a challenge.
Currently there is a portal (6.40) running as a frontend for an application. So the portal is used for only this purpose. The content is a changed masthead and a number of WebDynpros and UWL's all accessing the same backend.
Now there is a wish to use the same portal to execute a transaction iView for the same backend. Simple. BUT when a user uses the portal for the product he/she shall not see the transaction iView and also when the user sees the transaction iView, the WDs and UWL's should not be shown in the navigation. And also the masthead should be different on the two views.
Putting in another portal is not anoption, this should be done on the same portal. The way I expect it to work is by accessing the same portal og two different URL's.
Companies cannot be used since some of the users should be able to access poth views.
I know that in a prefect world it would simply be a matter of creating two different roles and assign them as needed and if the user has both roles hen they would both be available in the navigation. But to the user the portal should look like different portals.
Any suggestions on how to achieve this functionality?

Hi Thomas,
you have several options with the portal standard:
1.) If the user only has one role assigned at a time you can attach the portal layout to the roles. So depending on the role the user has he sees the respective layout - BUT: how to asign the two roles to the user!? This can only be done by admins and I assume that it is no intended to call the admins every time the user needs the other role?
2.) The entry to the portal is realized with different urls like http://yourportal.com/VIEW1 and http://yourportal.com/VIEW2.
VIEW1 and VIEW2 are so called portal aliases and you can attach the different layouts to those aliases.
BUT: the two roles have nothing to do with the aliases so you still have the problem of role assignment.
3.) Each person gets two users with each user assigned to one role and one layout assigned to the user or group or role...
Anyhow: I would ask the people who brought up the idea of two different layouts - WHY?? A portal is ONE single point of entry for EVERY application and information a user needs. So why two different layouts? And what, if five others are coming each bringing their own layouts, too?
4.) If you really want to have different layouts each time a different top-level navigation point is active you have to program your own portal component. That would fit your needs but is besides standard.

Multiple connections for the same user.

I have EJB A and EJB B. A and B use a JCA connector that
I have written. I have matchManagedConnections set so that if user U has not used EJB A or EJB B, then a new ManagedConnection is created. If user U has used A or B then that user is given a new virtual connection created from an existing ManagedConnection. Now the problem is that if user U access' A for the first time and then access' B BEFORE A has closed the connection, then a new ManagedConnection is created for user U. Therefore in this case user U gets 2 ManagedConnections to the EIS that we are using. Eventually one of the ManagedConnections is distroyed but I would like to eliminate this in the first place. How do a get Weblogic to see that a user has a ManagedConnection before that user is done with the connection.

You can't have multiple roles on multiple connection, as you are connecting to the same website (different sub directories) ultimately.
Here is the workaround:-
You can create a new user account on your machine and can manage different roles.

Firmware 7.3.1 info for the few users with bridged N routernetwork.

Just to help those few people who had a similar setup as my bridged network.
I had two different passwords set; one for my main N router and the other for the N bridged router. The 7.3.1 update failed on the bridged router.
The work around was to change both routers to use the same password.
Hope this helps those few people such as I who had used multiple password protection to their N routers.

FWIW I'm not having the problem described - I have an old (G) Airport Express on a BGN (2.4GHz) network served by an Airport Extreme N (previous, single-band model) and a current (N) Airport Express on a 5Ghz N-only network served by a Time Capsule (previous, single band model). All of that stuff has been updated to the latest firmware.
Something I noticed on the N network, and it possibly relates to several of the issues with 5GHz networks and the new firmware on existing routers is this: I have the wireless channel on my 5GHz router set to "automatic". Previously this used Channel 36. Now, after the firmware update, "automatic" has chosen Channel 147. In my case this hasn't made any difference for better or worse for how well or quickly other devices are connecting to the network, BUT I can easily see how being on a completely different frequency after the firmware update might make things work badly for some people, given imprefect transmission, interference, etc.
What happens if you change the frequency for the 5GHz network from "automatic" back to whatever channel it was choosing "automatically" with the previous firmware? I found that pressing Option when clicking on the Channel dropdown in Airport Utility made the channel selection available, and then I could choose a specific channel if I wished. If your connection was working well with channel 36 (for example) previously, maybe try setting it manually to that again?

Confused about synching multiple phones to the same computer with different content: itunes wants to erase everything??

I have had an i5 for some time, but my partner just bought one to replace her 3GS. We both synch to my itunes, and have been doing so for as long as I can recall. When we got her i5, we backed up her 3GS and reloaded the content into her i5. So far so good. Now, this couple of weeks later, I decided I wanted to put some of the movies, music, etc. that I have on my itunes library on her phone. I had previous installed some of the apps that I have there without trouble. However, when I tell my itunes to put movies (etc) onto her phone, it warns me (upon apply) that this phone has been sync'ed to another itunes, and that I can do what I am asking, but it will erase everything on the phone now! I cancelled this op at this point.
As far as I know neither of us has sync'ed her phone to any other itunes, although she has probably downloaded stuff directly into the phone using the onboard itunes. Is that what it's warning me about? Is there any way to either pull the content off the phone, or merge the content with what she had locally downloaded? If not, I'm willing to sacrifice the few things that she had locally loaded as long as it's not going to, for example, erase all her photos, and contacts, and everything else as well at the same time!
This is all rather confusing to me. It's actually rather confusing that one can synch multiple devices with different settings at all, and I'm extremely surprised that it works at all. Can someone clarify what's going on here? What I should/shouldn't do? What I can/can't do?

First make sure you have authorised the iTunes computer you are using for all of the associated apple ID's via the Store Menu>Authorise this computer and enter the apple ID and password used on the phone (repeat for as many apple ID's are in use on the phone).
Then right-click (or Control Click) on the name of the phone and select Transfer Purchases (this can also be found under File>Device>Transfer purchases). This will back up all of the purchases on the device to your computer, then when you sync with the phone it will put them back on even though it has just removed them.
Its a round about way of doing it but she shouldn't loose anything as long as the computer is authorised for all of the apple ID's used on the phone

Multiple mailboxes for the same user

I have configured mail to work with virtual domains so I can create a different mailbox for each email address but how do only allow the mail to that specific address to come through. As I don't want the local and virtual in the same mailbox.

User A can have one mailbox associated with his ID. You can create other "User A" mailboxes with different names and e-mail addresses as shared mailboxes and grant User A full mailbox rights and send as right. User A can
then connect to each one of them separately.

Multiple Scopes for the same subnet with Cisco CNR

I have a requeriment from my internal client that he wants to have multiple scopes within the same /21 subnet , but he wants to have different scopes for each group of servers ( in the /21 subnet).
We have 2 Cisco CNR ( I dont know the version they are running because they are managed by an external vendor) but they are in active / standby mode.
My question is .. it is posible to make the CNR have different scopes (ranges of IP's) for the same subnet ( /21) and assign those based on the client ( I dont know what criteria can be followed .. maybe Mac Address ???).
I appreciate any help or pointing to the right documentation

I don't know that you would want a separate PO print. You can print the same PO print twice to provide a copy for the freight vendor. I think it should be okay as long as it is clear that the PO is with the vendor for the products but there is a condition specifying the freight deal. The second vendor (say the freight vendor) should be okay with this PO as well. I don't remember how the standard SAP PO forms handled the vendor condition but it should be enough I would think. I never came across a separate PO for freight since it is usually an value added service that is an integrated part of shipping goods and the paper-work usually is leveraged from PO, bill-of-lading, etc. SAP will make it difficult if you do need a separate PO since there is no way to use account assignment to material and therefore would need to manually account code and invoice verification, post to a clearing account in FI for re-class to material or charge to internal order with settlement to material or something like this.
I would just make sure that the PO print makes sense in terms of being able to see the freight charge and maybe the vendor name or something (look at the standard SAP PO form to see what the best practice is).

Sha the original to itunes or the Camera Roll. Make the edits you want the share the photo to the Camera Roll or more per able iTunes. The make more edits and share again. To go back to the original photo you can use the Revert to Original function.

Multiple shapes on a single layer with different line-weights & colour fills

I'm just beginning with photoshop CS6 and I'm struggling with something in a project that should be simple
I need to draw a circle within a circle within a circle within a circle etc etc.
I need to give the circle lines different weights and colours and I need to change the colour of the fills between the lines.
Imagine if you will a diagram of the Earth's cross-section. That's roughly what I'm going for.
I don't want each circle on a different layer though, it would be way too hectic.
I can't figure out how to change the properties of one shape in the layer without changing all the others.
It's super frustrating.
Can anyone explain how to do this?

A shape is a vector path that defines the shape. The fill of that shape fills the entire layer and the vector mask asks like a cutter so you only see what is inside that mask. Since a single layer can have only a single color what you ask can not be done.
What you can do, when you are satisifed with the circles is to merge the layers into a single layer, then that layer will consist of only pixels and can then have multiple colors defining it. But do that as your final step, as once it is done, it is more difficult to edit it.
What is better is to group the shape layers to hide them or convert them into a smart object. It will look like a single layer, but at any time in the future including after closing the file, you double click on the thumbnail of that layer and view the individual layers to edit them.
There will come a time when you wish you could easily change a color to stroke thickness, even a year layer. Thats where the shape layers really shine. As they are non-destructive.

How to display multiple components in a single tabstrip with different tabs

I am working on PM UI development. We have created 5 webdynpro components and all have seperate application and link to run. Now we have requirement in which we should have a single window and all components should exist in different tabs.
Till now I have used Tabstrip in a single copmponent and have no idea how to fix this issue. Could you please help me out to get this done ASAP.

One option that you can try now is to create a new webdnpro component with a tabstrip.
1. To each of the tab area you attach view container.
2. In the used components of webdynpro component tab you can add each of the components that you created
3. Create inboud plugs for each of these application that you created.
4. When the tab is pressed trigger a call to the inbound plug of the applications
