Multiple v+ boxes?

hi, does anyone know if you can have multiple vision + boxes and hubs and hub phones running?..ie one in living room and one in bedroom?

Yes it's possible, however because the relationship between both boxes and the server is undefined you can't guarantee that a recording you schedule will go on any particular box, so the concept of not recording anything in the bedroom doesn't really exist because the box in the living room tells the server you want to make a recording, but the box in the bedroom can see that too. This is where the wierdness comes in. It can all go a bit Doctor Who on you.
If it all goes pear shaped BT can't help in account of it being an unsupported configuration.

How can I see the numbers of lines selected in a Multiple Selection Box?

Hi everybody,
what I want to do is to get in an array of numbers all the lines selected.
For instance, if I select the rows 1,4 and 7 from a Multiple Selection Box
of 10 rows in total, how can I see that array when the rows 1,4 and 7 are
selected?
Because I want to connect this numbers to Case Structure and if the only
rows selected are 1,4 and 7, the Case Structure will only realize this cases,
and the rest will be ignored.
I'm sure there is some way to get what I want.

Thanks for your response, but copying and pasting creates a link. If the user places a check mark in one of the boxes, all the rest of the boxes will have a check mark also. I will research this some more.

Multiple Select boxes in one form

Does anyone know if it is possible to have multiple select
boxes inside one form? I have six different select boxes that are
generated by six separate queries. The action page for all six
select boxes is the same so I just want one submit button so users
don't get confuse. I don't want to cluster up the page with submit
buttons but I may resort to that option.
My problem is the select boxes generate a number and when
that number is submitted I want to pass two other variables with it
to the action page. I tried putting a "Form" tag around the 6
select boxes. Inside each select box I tried to add an "Input
type="hidden"" and give thte name and values that I needed. That
worked for the first select box but when I tried the second select
box it used the hidden values for the first select box.
If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. Or if you
have any other suggestions I am open to any.

On the action page I need the below IF statement to work so
it will set the variables. It isn't working at this time. Its not

Exporting Text from multiple text boxes?

I'm using InDesign CS3 on the Macintosh. I need to export text from multiple text boxes/stories into one text file. The Export File command only exports text when the text tool is selected and the cursor is in the text box. Unfortunately, I have 8-20 individual text boxes per page, none are linked, and my document is 100+ pages, so selecting each text box individually is much too time consuming. There must be a better way - Please help!

The text exporter plug-in seems to work! I did a quick test - text still will need some clean-up to make sure it's in the correct order, but MUCH better than exporting each story individually. THANKS!

Find and Replace Font Colors in Multiple Text Boxes

I have Illustrator version 15
I made many text boxes with multiple colors, red and black on each letter. I was wondering if there is a find and replace tool for multiple text boxes. I want to change the reds to black and the blacks to light grey. I tried clicking on change swatch color but it only worked for the letter I had selected, even with the global option selected. I then when to select -> Same -> Color Stroke but it just selected each text box on the page....Is there anyway to do this?

Not exactly a find and replace but you can do it.
Select the text frames yu want to change the colors using the shift key to click select the frames.
Then go to Edit>Edit Color>Recolor Art
You wll see a dialog with red and black bars along side two shorter bars click the shorter bars to select a New Color a color picker will appear you can use the swatches or the color mixer.
There is a live preview /so you will see the change in case you want to pick a different gray, of course you can always go back to the recolor art dialog.
I am afraid you manually have to select text frames with multiple colors in order to accomplish what you want but the method above I believe is the only want to change the colors.
This video shows how the dialog works but pretend the one frame I did not select is another color.

I have a database of the membership of a club. One field in the database is input by checking multiple check boxes. When the insert member record is submitted and multiple check boxes are selected, the information becomes an array of text separated by commas. When the user goes back to the update form, the check boxes are not showing checked in the appropriate fields. Thanks for getting back with me. I do have two tables. One table is the "members" table where all the information for the members is stored. One of the columns is "currentClubPositions". The database has another table which is "positions" which has the list for the positions that a member of the club could serve on. Members of the club may be serving on a number of positions at once, therefore the check boxes. Also, the club is adding and deleting positions over time, so I wanted an easy way to add them and delete them without having to go into phpmyadmin to do this. I have created a form that updates the "positions" table. The check boxes that show up in the insert member record and update member record are dynamic so that when the table "positions" changes, the forms change dynamically as do the queries to sort the database change dynamicaly. When the check boxes are entered, I use the implode function to make the values an array of text separated by commas and that value is inserted in one field of the members table named "currentClubPosition". Multiple Text Boxes into One Text Box

I need multiple text boxes to populate into one text box. I've got it to work with....

However, if the field is blank, it gives me a blank line.   What is the code if the box is "empty" to "skip" that text box?
Here is what I tried, but it takes everything away even if there is something in the textbox:

From the sample forms supplied with the Acrobat distribution CD, you can use the "fillin" function that can process up to 3 fields at one time and automatically adjust for null value fields and add an option separator string;

It looks like a lot of code, but it is easy to insert document level scripts into t pdf so the actual coding is not that much. And if one hase multiple fields that requrie multiple input fields, the coding task is even less compared to working out each field.

How can I place multiple choice boxes on the same line instead of in a column?

I know it is possible to place multiple fields on the same line, using drag and drop.
But to save space, I would like to have 3 or 4 multiple choice boxes next to each other on one line.
Is this possible, and if so, how?

You may click on the "+" button to the right of the first multiple choice box to add more in the same line. When you hover over the button, the tooltip says "insert item beside".

Multiple selection box

is there a way to use a multiple selection box and calculate values in a text box.
I did set up a rule to set values but I won't work for my need.
so multiple selection box has pc1, pc2, pc 3. The user can select all of these or just one but no matter what selection is made the price is calculated into another box on the InfoPath form, I assume either a text box or a calculated field box?
any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!!

for using a form, seems quite a challenge.
when you select the selection box, or check boxes in the form, you may need to grab the all the selection, and refresh the page with the pre-selected information, so it will be loaded when the page is refreshed.
if you are using infopath template, it may be difficult, since we need 2 infopath form templates associate with list A and B individually, not sure how to interact this cross 2 infopath form template.
my infopath colleague suggest you to try to use one infopath form template with 2 data connections.
i was thinking,
if you could populate the items, for example by using getlistitem()

since you would like to use a form, then it may not updated directly, i am not quite sure for this, because as i know you may need to use a button to send out and update/refresh the fields.

Multiple Speaker box shows a locked Apple TV speaker option.

In my Multiple Speaker box under iTunes my Apple TV icon has a small image of a "Lock" in the locked position. I think this is the reason I can't play music through the speakers connected to my Apple TV. How do I unlock this?

Yes. I did. But here's an update. I just now checked my firewall settings under System Preferences and turned OFF the firewall. That solved my problem. I do not know what risk I am open to with Firewall off but I guess I hope for no consequences. Thanks for getting back to me. I apologize for not posting my solution but I just did it.
