Multiprovider, acces to one infocube scipped

hi, all,
I use a multi provider with 3 infocubes for plan and other data. A multi-provider based query delivers no data from the plan info cube. When I run the query in RSRT in the modus "Execute+debug", there is a message :
00010004 I-Access to ZITPLAN was skipped. (MPR filter)
Any idea what the MPR-Filter is?

Neven,
In the packet dimension you will have the IO 0INFOPROV.
Drag that IO into the filter area and restrict with the plan cube only and check whether it is displaying data or not. If displaying, remove the IO from the filter make the query like before.
If not displying data as per the above said method, you should check the asssignments in teh multiprovider definition.

I got a task to add one infocube into many(10) multiproviders. As per my knowledge,I have to add it manually by going through each and every multiprovider. Like this i have to do it for around 15 Infocubes and it's really time killing activity.

HI,
You have to add each Infocube manually....Because after adding you have to assign Chars and KFs in the Multiprovider to the Particular Infoproviders...So you have to do this Task Manually only...There is no such one go process.....

Multiprovider on top of Infocube and ods

Hi,
I'm just wondering, I would like to create an Multiprovider on top of infocube and ods. While creating multirovider I can able to see my infocube but in ODS tab I'm not getting ODS which I need to consider.
I've gone through all available ODS's in ODS tab while creating Multiprovider but my ODS is coming here.
I'm working on BW 3.5 Version.

Just check weather u have any keyfigur in ur DSO or not. If not just add one keyfigur in your ODS and activate it and then try to look for it in multiprovider.

Is it possible to use a multiply authorization objects to one infocube?

Hello!
BPS-BW implementation required to use security on several CHAR including hierarchies for one infocube. What the right way to implement this requirement?
I created (RSSM) several authorization objects: one per CHAR, and assigned it to infocube. Then I created a role and included the craeted objects. But cube data didn't display in a queries or planing folders. But, when I created the auth object for the required CHARs and assigned it to role the cube data displayed accordance setted values.
What's wrong?

I think u have checked the check box for authorization relevant in the maintanance screen of chraracteristics ,thats the reason.

I am giving one example
R/3 :
1.You have no of data sources( 2lis_02_scl_,2lis_02_xxx,...) now you have assigned these d.s to diffrent info sources.Now you have diffrent info sources right.
Create a Cube with necessary info objects that you need.Now you want to connect all these info sources( 2lis_02_scl_,2lis_02_xxx,...) to cube.So create u.r for each(Ex: U have three info sources create three u.rules).In the u.rule u have to mention clearly for which objects needs to be assigned.
Flat file :
2. Same as above for flat files.

Hope all of them are doing good.How can we copy one query from one infocube to another infocube.
I have infocube1 having one query ,I NEED to copy that query to infocube2? How?

We have a one infocube (ZSD_C03) that is a copy from another one (0SD_C03), so we want to make a copy one query form 0SD_C03 to ZSD_C03, any idea to do that.

If the two cubes have exact same definition query can be copied by tcode RSZC . Give the source and target cube name and select query radio button , it would give all queries on source cube . You need to give name for query , restricted KF , calculated KF on target cube . Make sure Calculated KF and Restricted KF are copied .

How to do a report on one multiprovider along with other Infocube

You can't do reporting on multiple Info providers . What you can do in u'r case is have your cube inculded in the Multiprovider you are refering to , or else create a new Multiprovide with all the Cubes and DSOs from which you need data for reporting . The latter method better case it would not effect any of your existing queries on the Old Multiprovider .

Can u jus create a multiprovider.
Before creating the multiprovider..Just check the Common charcterstics avilable in
all the ods based on that give the mapping ..
and then once u have completd the creation of multiprovider execute the same in
the tcode <b>Listcube</b> and then create the querys as per the user thats it...

I want to acces my one note book offline. ..

I cannot acces my notebook in offline mode. However, it seems that online mode is the only possibility to syncr with my Ipad.
I would like to be able to open and edit my notebook both on my Ipad and on my windows computer offline, and when I am online it should syncr. automaticly.
(By the way, how does the syncr. work if in case of offline edit - I have been editting in the same doc on both my Ipad and my computer ??)
This is how it looks. The problem is, that it is not a real onedrive folder/file like the other ones (wordfiles other notebooks not accesable on Ipad etc.). A googlechrome symbol and just a link..

OneNote creates a local copy of the notebook for offline editing in the Local Settings folder,
You can access this folder here:
Quick way to access the Local Folders is to type %localappdata% in Windows Explorer and hit Enter.

Hi,
I recommend using a multi-cube also but if you insist in JOINing two cubes then you can do that in an ABAP SELECT statement. You need to join the fact table and the dimension tables for all dimensions (for all InfoCubes). Please only retrieve data whose OBJVERS="A".

Loading 2 data Sources in One Infocube

Hello,
I need to load Infocube using 2 datasources like 2LIS_11_VAHDR and 2LIS_11_VAITM using BI 7.0 is this possible ?
I need to take 10 fields from 2LIS_11_VAHDR and 8 fields from 2LIS_11_VAITM and load into Infocube.
Do I need to create 2 Tranformations under infocube?
I searched in SDN I couldn't find any blog on this

Data in my datasource 2LIS_11_VAITM as follows
MatDsce: Finish goods
In my first transformation Doc no and Ccode will be mapped to infocube
2nd transformation Matdsc will be mapped to Same infocube.
I'm having doubt like how do we know Matdsc is the correct material description for Doc no :1234

Bex dont show data from one infocube

I have a query created on a multiprovider that initially contain four infocubes and after I add the Infocube B to this multiprovider.
Now, I can see records in the infocube B, but I can not see this data using the query.
The multiprovider is active and the query filters and free characteristics are ok.
What is happened?

Did you make necessary changes in the Identificatoin and selection tabs of the multiprovider. Also check to see if there is any restriction by InfoProvider in your query.

Remove double records during data upload from one InfoCube to another

Dear Experts
We have transactional financial data available in an InfoCube including cummulated values by period . Some companys have 12 reporting periods (0FISCPER3) and some companys have 16 periods (but all 16 periods are not always filled) . The data must be prepared for a consolidation system which expects only 12 periods. Therefore I bulit up a routine with the following logik:
If period > 12, result = 12, else result = source field.
But as the data target is (must be) an InfoCube the new values with reporting period 12 are not overwritten, but summarised instead. This means the original records with period 12 and the new records - see example:
Records before transformation:
Period   Amount
12          100
13           120
Records after transformation in the InfoCube:
Period   Amount
12          100
12           120
This would lead to the following aggregation:
Period   Amount
12          240
But as the values per period are cummulated, the consolidation system only needs the last period. So there should be only one record left in the InfoCube:
Period   Amount
12           120
Is it possible to delete dublicate records or do you have any other idea to to keep only the record with the last period (e.g. period 13) and to assign the value 12?

Hi,
You have two options here, you can put DSO in between the Datasource and infocube, and load the delta using the change log.
Second is use delete the overlapping request from the infocube, it will delete the previuos requests and load the new request.

How to load data from one Infocube to another request by request using DTP

Hi All,
I have a scenario where we are maintaining backup Infocube B for Infocube A. User loads data from a flat file many times a day in different requests. We need to maintain backup of the Infocube A on weekly basis. i.e data to be refreshed with delta update from cube A to cube B. There are some situations where user deletes some of the requests in Infocube A randomly after use. Will this change effect in back up cube B when performed data refresh from cube A to cube B. i.e. this functionality is similar to reconstruct in BW 3.5. Now we are running on BI 7.0 SP 9.
Can anyone answer this ASAP.

You cannot load request by request, " Get Data By Request " DTP loads request by request on " First In First Out " basis. You can run some Pseudo/Fake DTP's if you dont want to load data from a particular request.
If the user deletes a request from Cube A, it wont be loaded to Cube B but if it is already loaded in Cube B and later the user deletes the request from Cube A you have to delete the request frm Cube B. Inorder to monitor request by request run DTP with " Get Data By Request set.
