Muse 7.0 plus Chrome: browser does not show images full browser width

I have a serious problem with the latest Muse version: the images which I use as parallax-masks for the background won't work with Chrome, though Safari and Firefox are not showing any problems. The issue: Chrome does either not scale the images to 100% browser-width or does not show them at all, or even shows the images cut into narrow stripes. This problem did not show in the previous version of Muse.
Of course I already restarted application and computer. System: Mac OSX Mavericks.
What to do now? The presentation with the client is very soon and this bug makes me very nervous.

The problem bartl encountered and reported was fixed by the 7.1 release (November 21st). The problem you're describing sounds different.
As of yet, I'm unable to reproduce what you're describing. The URL you've provided views the same in all the browsers I've tried, Chrome (32.0.1700.77) and non-Chrome, Mac and Windows.
That said, looking at your master page I don't think you've created what you intended. At present there are two full screen slideshows on your A-master. On contains no images and the other contains a single image. Both are set to have thumbnails and the thumbnails container is off the right side of the page.
If you look at your "Master Slideshow" layer in the Layers panel, you'll see the two slideshows. I think you'll want to delete one of them and, given your design, turn off thumbnails for the remaining one.
Also, if you don't plan to have multiple images in the full screen slideshow, you'd be better off using a background fill image rather than the slideshow widget.
I remain a bit puzzled how/why you're seeing different behavior in your instance of Chrome. Have you cleared your browser cache?
On an unrelated note, if you set the page fill and stroke to none and set the browser fill to the most common color from the garage door image, it will avoid the momentary appearance of a white page on a grey background when your home page first loads. Instead the site visitor would see a blank page that's the most common color from the slideshow image, until that image loads.

I can understand your frustrations and concerns with receiving these unknown calls! I would love to assist you with preventing these types of calls.
Sounds as though you're receiving some type of telemarketing call. Although you're unable to add the shorter numbers to your call block list, you can definitely add your number to the National Do Not Call registry http://1.usa.gov/1whONxp. I hope this will help prevent those unwanted calls. Thanks!

My doc does not show on full screen, how to project it to full screen?

The Word document which I want to amend does not show on full screen, how to get the doc to full screen?

Doc shows Thumb and prints ok, but I jsut cannot see it in full, it is locke in the left hand corner.

Media browser does not show photos

The media browser in iDvd & iWeb does not show the photos in my iPhoto library. It does show the tunes in my iTune library but not the photos in my iPhoto library. When I click photos in the browser, the browser says, "Open iPhoto2 or later or Aperature1.5 or later from your iPhoto or Aperature library in this list."
I have iPhoto6.0.6. When I made a DVD two months ago everything worked okay. I suspect that I am missing something very obvious, but to date it escapes me. Does anyone have some experience with this problem? Please help.

One thing that you can try is the often used maintenance of deleting preferences and doing a permissions repair. To delete preferences, close iMovie and iPhoto and trash the files named com.apple.iMovie.plist and com.apple.iPhoto.plist found in User (the house icon)/Library/Preferences. Then restart your computer and do a permissions repair using the Disk Utility app found in HD/Applications/Utilities. In the left hand pane of the Disk Utility window select your hard drive icon and then click on repair permissions. Takes about 3 minutes to repair. Then relaunch iMovie and iPhoto and see if you still have the problem. Those applications will recreate the .plist files that you deleted.
However, this might be an iPhoto issue, and I would suggest that you post your question in the iPhoto forum as well.
Have you updated iPhoto recently? Have you made any manual changes to your iPhoto library? Do you use keywords? Is your iPhoto library stored on an external drive where possibly iMovie can't locate it?
It could be that you just need to rebuild your iPhoto library. You can do that by holding down the Option and Apple keys while launching iPhoto. Then chose the first 3 selections in the drop down menu. But be sure first to back up your iPhoto library to guard against power outages or other probs during the rebuild process. As I say, check with the iPhoto forum if deleting preferences and repairing permissions does not work.

Mail does not show images anymore server stopped responding on my iPad 2 when attempting to browse web

Over the last couple of days my ipad 2 has started to play up. First the mail would not show images in mail then when trying to browse the web it now will not open any pages. I have attempted a wipe & reload but still no difference.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).

FF5 does not show images that are 'moved permanently' (http response 301)

Our web app shows maps from OpenStreetmap. The webapp is secure, that is, is uses HTTPS. Now, IE complains horribly when the web page tries to load <img> via HTTP, because it's mixed content that that is considered baad.
So our webapp serves the images by responding via HTTPS with a 301 (moved permanently) to the real OpenStreetmap URL (with is HTTP). That fools IE to not complain.
Now, Firefox 5 suddenly does not show the map images AT ALL. This has worked beautifully with previous version (and all other browsers).
What's wrong?

I fixed the problem. (YAY!)
It was the way I embedded the files -- the Dreamweaver default does not work properly so I used the embed from this generator: http://www.bobbyvandersluis.com/swfobject/generator/index.html#alternativeContentHelp which now lets my navbar and swfobjects load properly. I also made sure that my slideshow (loader.swf) was set with wmode = opaque while the navbar is set to wmode = transparent. The div for the nav bar has z-index set to 5 while the div for the slideshow has z-index set to 1. Both have absolute positioning. I hope this helps anyone in the future that has trouble with overlaying flash (.swf) files.

Garageband does not show loops in browser

Hi all,
I'm running 2.02 and I just downloaded the Jampack freebies from .mac. I installed as instructed (drug the loops to the loop browser), however, garageband does not 'see' the new loops. They are not in the loop browser. I checked help which explained that when they are drug into the loop browser the loop index gets updated. I'm not sure this has happened correctly. Is there a way to force the program to update the index based on what it finds in the library/Apple Loops directory?
Elsewise....any suggestions? I've tried restarting the program. I've hit reset in the loop browser, and I've made sure that the 'key filter' whatever parm in the preferences is not checked.

What you are seeing is the normal behavior of the program. If you create a song in C in 4/4 time you will see most of your loops. Garageband keeps them organized by key and time signature. I lose most of my loops when I make a song in 3/4 or 6/8 time and in a minor key like Em.
You can get more of them to show up by unchecking the filter option in the preferences:
1. Open Garageband
2. In the Garageband menu select 'preferences'.
3. In the general section of preferences uncheck the filter for more relevant results.
I have not discovered anything that will force loops to show up in unusual keys. Some of the drum loops should show up but don't. It is possible the loops were not given the 'any key' tag. Unusual rhythms also wreak havoc on the loops selection.
For this reason, when you make your own loops be sure to select all the parameters you want the loops to show up in.

Media browser does not show previews of raw photos

I use Aperture 3.4.3 and I have the following problem. If I import photos in jpg format they are immediately available in the media browser and can therefore be selected as a desktop photo via the Desktop & Screen Saver preference pane. If I import photo's in raw format, they do not appear in the media browser until I have forced Aperture to rebuild the previews. If I edit the photos without forcing Aperture to rebuild the previews they are not available in the media browser.
Any suggestions are welcome

1. Aperture does not generate any previews when importing jpg's, raw photo's or merging libraries even though I have selected New projects automatically generate previews and always share previews with iLife and iWork (I am importing photos into an existing project but I would expect photo previews to be updated automatically in these cases as well). My statement above that Aperture shared jpg's automatically is therefore incorrect.
This looks like your preference settings cannot be stored by Aperture. You write, that you already tried to remove the preferences. You did look in the "Preferences" folder in your hidden User Library in your Home folder ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Aperture.plist and not in the System Library on your MacintoshHD /Library/Preferences/com.apple.Aperture.plist, right?
Also, when removing preferences in Lion an Mt. Lion, it is best to log off and on again after quitting Aperture. Otherwise the removal may not take, because you cannot rely on a "Quit" to remove the process from the caches. Aperture simply may launch again restored from the cache, without noticing that the preferences have ben removed.
3. If I edit the photo in Aperture after I have generated a preview (say crop it), the preview does not get updated.
That is consistent with the above.
4.You can only resolve this by forcing Aperture to generate a new preview, shutting down Aperture and then launching the preference pane.
Ths may also be related to broken Aperture preferences. The Media browser needs the preferences file to find the current Aperture library.
I like to suggest two basic tests:
Generation of previews may also fail, if your Aperture library is corrupted. Then You should have no problems with the generation of previews, when you import into a new library. Create a small new testlibrary and import a few images. Are previews generated? I not, then the problem is not dependent on your current library. If yes, you need to trouble shoot your library. Post back.
Do you have the same problem, when working from a different user account with a diffrent Aperture library? Then preferences are not a problem - you have a system wide problem and probably need to reinstall. Post back.

BOE 3.0 Designer does not show the table browser

Hi,
I am using BOE 3.0. I was able to view the table browser a few days back. After I changed the license key, the designer stopped showing me the table browser. I am logging into Designer with Administrator previleges. Although the Administrator has "Full control", but when I click on "Insert->Tables" in designer it does not do anything, not even display the table browser. I have created Oracle client connection and tested it. The server is responding, but the insert-> tables does not work.
Any help would be appreciated.

Sus: Yes I can see the progress bar. It exists for a few seconds and then disapperas,but does not do anything.
2. Can you try invoking Table browser by double clicking on Universe designer pane.

Sus: Yes the designer is able to connect to the DB. I tested the connection and got the message "Server is responding". In fact when I am using the quick design wizard I can able to see the tables from my DB.
4. How many tables do you have in DB, IF there are lot many table then it might table time to load those tables
Sus: Currently my DB contains almost 40(20 tables and 20 views). I don't think it is concern. I worked with DB which contains more than this and that time I did not face this issue.
5. Can you strategies tab in parameters (File->Parameters). What is the strategy for Tables. Try using built-in strategy.
Sus: Yes it is built-in for tables. It is the default one and I did not change it.

Make sure your iOS version is correct.
Tap Settings > General > About then swipe down to Version. It must be 8.1.
If it's 8.1, instead of looking in Settings open the Passbook app itself.
If you can't find it, drag down from the top of any screen then type Passbook in the search field.
It should show up under: TOP HITS

          I have an upload applet which runs fine within IE over weblogic and it is not showing
          up in weblogic.
          The reason is in my opinion is that it is rejecting the certificate automatically
          this is my assumption because it loads correctly if i open it up directly and not
          over the webserver
          The message i get is
          File transfer is not possible due to insufficient permission or save options

DVD player does not show images

Hi,
This could have been added to a recent post, but it is somewhat different.
When I insert one of my own DVDs, DVD player plays the music all right but no image...unless I request to open DVD media in the menu.
Can someone help and tell me why is it not doing it automatically as it did with my previous OS version ? What should I do ?

Furthermore when I open the media VIDEO TS from my DVD, it is loading but the controler does not allow me to do anything; just inactive; I just hear the music that is on the home page of the DVD

Struts Portlet does not show images when it is accessed outside the domain

Hi all,
I am using Oracle 10.1.2. I have created a Struts portlet. When I view the struts portlet from my office domain (University domain) it works well and shows the images properly. However, if I try to access the same page containing the struts portlet from some other domain (my home), I cannot see the images and CSS associated with the page. This might be a firewall issue. Is there any way out?

Bridge does not show image previews anymore on one of my drives

Bridge isn't showing image previews on one of my drives. I have tried resetting the preferences as well as deleting the cache to no avail.

I don't believe so, because it operates as expected in finder. It's only bridge that doesn't seem to want to create the thumbnails. I went to the thread you posted, Robert, but unfortunately I'm not on Windows and don't see any "online" or "offline" options.
Transporter is not a cloud service. It's actually a local hardware device, so it's more a network drive than anything else.

Photoshop does not show Image after converting to sRGB

Hey,
i just got a new Eizo Coloredge Monitor which i conectetd to my Macintosh.
Everything seems to be fine actually. But when i´m converting an Image from Pro Photo to sRGB for instance... the Photoshop Window does just show a black window.
I think it is just some kinda new function or some kinda Colorspace warning, but i just dont get around it and don´t really know what this means..
Can someone help me .. or maybe had the same problem??

Are you stating when you use edit Convert to Profile abe in the convert dialog you check preview the change the profile to convert to different profiles like sRGB or sgray and others that you see a black image window with no image in it?
