Muse CC trial version issues

Hi,
I've downloaded a trial version of Muse CC, set-up a site and added a widget from muse-themes.com but it doesn't seem to work. I've tried a second widget and this also doesn't work. Please could someone tell me if all functions are active on the trial version or if I would have to buy the full version for outside widgets to work?

Thank you for your reply. The widget I wanted to use (and paid a large subscription fee for, sadly) was the 'Carousel Image Slider'. I have been playing around with the settings, I think the reason the widget didn't work is because the images I would like to display are smaller in width than suggested by muse-themes.com and they are just stretching to fit the area.

SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version Issues - cannot start NSP from MMC.

I am trying to install the the SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version on Windows XP Professional. The installation ended without errors but now I can not start the NSP instance from MMC. The message server and dispatcher processes both start but message server stop after a few seconds. The dispatcher also stops after sometime. Appreciate any inputs on this. I was getting similar kind of issue while installing SAP ABAP trail version. After going through documents I found if there will be any SAP installation on that system earlier it will not install SAP ABAP. I format my system, install ABAP server, Install SAP GUI in order. Now it is working fine.
If you do not want to format your system then remove all entry from registry or use virtual PC. I prefer ro use Virtual PC.

Trial version issues

I just installed the trial version and found that it will not
save. Does anyone know if this is a function of the trial version.
It seems other products of Adobe will let you save for the 30 day
trial.
Also when I am doing a "capture" nothing is recorded. Also a
function of the trial version?
I know I was able to save with a disk version of the trial,
but had other issues so I went to the web download version which is
the one given me these problems.

Where are you trying to save to? Captivate works best if you
work locally. Don't be saving to a network resource.
Not sure what to advise other than to have you ensure you are
working in the correct location (listed above) and have installed
things correctly. Maybe need to log in as an admin?
There is no difference between the trial version and the
registered version aside from the fact you only have 30 days to use
it. So it isn't crippled in any way.

SAP BW powered by SAP HANA - trial version - issues to contect

Hi there,
I am facing issues to get the trail Version up and running. Here my steps:
1) The instance on AWS starts properly and the Status is shown as green.
2) The Connection via "Remote Desktop Connection" was fine.
3) In the SAP Management Console I can start properly following Systems (Status green):
     - A4H abapc1
     - HDB
    System A4H abapci0 is shown with yellow.
4) When trying to start the SAP BW 7.4 via the SAP GUI following error is shown:
   "Partner xxxxx not reached
    Connection refused"
Any hint what I need to change?

Adobe Muse - trial version?

Why is Adobe Muse a trial version when you have a CC membership?

Good question ericcirnish,
I have the full creative cloud membership and I noticed that after the last upgrade of the application manager, Muse has downgraded to "try" rather than install. It was available to install prior to the the application manager upgrade.
I'm keen to know why access has been removed.
I checked the publicity material on the site and it claims that all proudcts are available with full membership, inclduing Muse, so what has changed?

Is there a trial version of Aperture

I have about 24 days remaining on my trial version of Nikon Capture NX, and I like it very much. However, if there is a similar 30-day trial version for Aperture, I would like to give it a test run before commiting either way.
Does anyone know if such a trial version exists? I don't see anyting in the Apple promos about this.

Speaking just for myself: Yes, they are missing the opprtunity to enlist me as an Aperture customer.
Don't get me wrong, I love the MAC environment and expect to continue to be a MAC user for many years to come. BUT I am sometimes unnerved by what seems to be their sheer arrogance. I doubt that the Aperture trial version issue is an oversight. Rather, I expect that it is deliberate and comes from a kind of messianic myopia.

Why is Adobe Muse 2014 reverting to the trial version?

I loaded up Muse this morning and it told me there was an update, so I downloaded Adobe Muse 2014. When I try to load it, it goes into trial mode. If I say I want to licence it, it asks for a serial number. I don't remember having a serial for Muse, it just logs in with my Adobe ID. The old version still works fine, but the new one keeps bring up the trial version screen.
I've tried to chat with an Adobe rep twice but both times have been told it's a 'technical' issue and I will be transferred to the relevant department. That's when the chat goes dead. I just want some help getting Muse 2014 to work!

Okay, I have this sorted now. These are the steps it needs, should it happen to anyone else.
1. Click on the "Finder" icon. Select the "Applications" folder
2. Open the "Utilities" folder and select "Terminal"
3. Type the following.
sudo nano /private/etc/hosts
4. Enter the OS user's associated password when prompted
5. If any entries in the host file include keywords such as "ims" or "adobe," please delete those entries.
6. Press control+o to save the file
7. Press control+x to close the file
8. After the nano dialog closes, type the following in the Terminal window and hit the "Return" key
dscacheutil -flushcache

I cannot install the trial version of Adobe Muse

I cannot install the trial version of Adobe Muse. When I am in the Apps section of Creative Cloud it just shows the thinking animated icon.

Please check your firewall settings or try the following steps :
Rename the opm.db file.
Close the Creative Cloud application if it's running.
Navigate to the OOBE folder.
Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
Rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db
Launch Creative Cloud

I've downloaded and installed the trial version of Muse on several Macs running X 10.9 Mavericks. How can I get it to prompt me for the Serial Number? Looks like the issue is with the host file.
Please go to the location below and Open the file "Hosts", Check if there is any entry for "Adobe".
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
If yes then rename that host file to any other name.
Please Make sure you Sign out from muse and Quit Muse before following the steps above.

Downloading Muse after deleting trial version

I deleted my trial version of adobe muse before purchasing the creative cloud. Now however when I go to install the full version through creative cloud, application manager says that it is "up to date" and I can't click on it to install. It is definitely not on my computer. How can I install it???

Please try these steps to fix this issue.
Rename Caps folder from this location.
Windows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
Mac:
Library/Application Support/Adobe
Once done please relaunch AAM and try installing Muse.
