Muse Download Failure

Hi,
I had Muse installed and working. Then, it began crashing every time I was trying to drop a Menu into the Master Page. The Page would turn white, and then I got a message that the Muse application had to close.
So, I de-installed Muse after several similar crashes and when I tried to re-install the application from my Creative Cloud Account the install failed.
I got the following message (below). Any suggestions??

    I am desperate to know of any possible workaround solutions that might resolve inexplicable failure(s) to download iTunes 10.6 (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/) in Mozilla Firefox 14.0.1 Browser for Windows 7 (64-bit) OS...!!

    In an aimlessly ill-informed effort to troubleshoot the "Please install Apple Application Support" ERROR Message reported subsequent to my numerous attempts to "repair/install" the most recent and otherwise previously up-to-date versions of Apple QuickTime & iTunes on my HP Pavilion dv4 Entertainment Notebook PC, running on the Windows 7 (64-bit) OS... I mistakenly (perhaps?) thought it wise to attempt to execute a complete uninstall/reinstall of both QuickTime & iTunes. Oops... YIKES !!
    Somewhere along the knotty entangled threads of my most circuitous web-research, as I browsed for information and instructional resources regarding proper procedure for (re)-installing Apple Application Support (amongst other peripheral software programs provided by Apple, Inc. as integral technical components essential to seamless & successful installation, application and operation of the most current/up-to-date versions of Apple QuickTime & Apple iTunes), I seem to recall reading explicit suggestions from well-rated community support contributors to proceed with the aforementioned course of action...
    Unfortunately, now that I no longer have either Apple QuickTime or iTunes currently installed on my Win7OS HP Pavilion Notebook PC, I continue consistently to fail at initializing either a functional download or installation solely of iTunes 10.6 -- so far!!
    When I link to the Apple iTunes 10.6 Download URL (listed herein, above!) and click the (blue) DOWNLOAD NOW Button located near mid-center of the left-sidebar in the presumably appropriate/correct browser tab window (fully framed and immediately visible in maximized view, on my screen), what seems then to occur is pretty much what one could only image/explain &/or describe as "zip/zilch, nothing/nada, absolute silence, stillness: a blatantly obvious failure to initiate functional download of anything at all, whatsoever...!!"
    Not a single hint of code or even a mere bleep/beep/blink/blip in my Win7OS or HP Pavilion Monitor Display appears before for me; ultimately, suggesting without any real certainty whatsoever that a download of the iTunes 10.6 Software Installation Package has perhaps initialized, successfully...!!?
    WHAT TO DO? What to do? ...ARGGHHH !!
    I am desperate to find a workaround solution with which to troubleshoot and ideally resolve these persistent difficulties I continue to encounter when attempting to download iTunes 10.6 via Mozilla Firefox 14.0.1 on the Win7OS (64-bit) of my HP Pavilion dv4 Entertainment Notebook PC!!

  • Download failure on free purchases of Pages and OS update

    I tried to download Pages, listed as free, and you automatically get the Mavericks update.  After notice of "download failure" I went back to th App store and deleted the free purchases of the OS update and Pages. Now, when I go back to tha App store to try again, it shows Pages at $19.99. This is a brand new MacBook Air. How can I get the free Pages download?

    Using your link, I downloaded the new version. When I dragged the Firefox icon into the applications folder, it asked if I wanted the new version to replace the existing one, and I said yes. I was then told that it couldn't be done because I had insufficient privileges for some items. Is the reason for this that I didn't trash the old version BEFORE dragging the new one into the applications folder (under the assumption that "replace" meant that the old version was trashed as the new one was installed)? If not, it appears that I am back to the same problem I've had before.
    Since I'll be replacing this computer soon, it seems too troublesome to bother with this update. I'd just like the update reminders to go away!

    This morning (Pacific time) the v32.1 release was made public. It contains a fix to the download failure issue that surfaced in the following forum discussion:

    This issue only affected v32 apps (v31 apps were not impacted).
    The iOS Adobe Content Viewer with this fix is being submitted today for Apple approval, and may take a few days for approval and release.

  • Flashplayer V10.3.181.34 Metafile download failure

    We have downloaded the above version, but the videos we try to play still say we have an older version and they will not play.
    When we try to reinstall we get a metafile download failure. 
    We are running both W7 and XP SP3. ie8

  • Muse Download Problem

    I updated my trial version of Muse to the latest version and now can't open Muse without a failure notice and forced shutdown.  I assumed that possiblt my trial period was up now and might cause the problem so I have attempted to purchase Muse.  When I get to 'Billing', the 'State' button is inactive and I cannot move forward to purchase and download.  I called the download number and was told the wait would be 45 minutes.  I tried again just now and got a pitch-guy selling me the Cloud at $49.00 per month.  I have previously purchased all the programs I need and find CS5 fine for now.  He relented and transfered me someone who could sell me the Muse product.  After listening to horrible music for 10 minutes, I hung up.  I am not a website dsigner and was hoping Muse would be a godsend for me.  I have spent months of time and have a finished website design that I can no longer open.  Can anyone help me get Muse?

    I believe what you've hit is a bug were attempting to isolate that's resulting in a crash shortly after startup for some customers only on XP. For at least one customer turning off their virus scanner for Muse allowed Muse to launch. But in at least one other case the customer didn't have a virus scanner installed. We're continuing to work to isolate the root cause and fix this in a timely manner.
    The primary forum thread discussion for the XP-specific crash is at http://forums.adobe.com/message/4639449#4639449.
    Until we have a workaround or update for this issue, the only option is to revert to Muse 1.1.
    To revert to Muse 1.1:
    1) Use the Windows Control Panel to remove Adobe Muse
    2) Download and install Muse 1.1 for Windows using this link.
    It will ask you to update on launch. Until we have this resolved, choose "Later".

  • Duplicate payment and download failure

    Hello,
    I tried to buy a software two days ago (and yes, I already sent a communication about it to Nokia through the normal way, no answer) but couldn't. I tried to finish the payment twice, and both times it ended in failure (i never could start the download). To my surprise, though, I was charged both times.
    The software is not in my items in the store. I have both payment receipts.
    I guess I want one of the payments to be excluded from my CC, and a way to download the software I bought.

    P.S. I don't think the phone has anything to do with that, as I already had bought things successfully before, but it is a Nokia 5530 XpressMusic.

    Still can't understand why users are so attached to OVI Store applications..I will advise to Download any application directly from the developers site.. Keep OVI Store just for reference.. Once you know about an application on the Store.. go to the developer's site to download..
    The advantages being..
    1.You can download it to PC ( in almost all the cases..) so in case of Phone resets, Firmware upgrades , etc no need to re-download..
    2. In most of the cases the Price at developer's site is less..
    3. Anyways OVI / Nokia do not provide constructive support in case of any problem with the application.. You have to contact developer directly..
    4. You get the latest version from the developer's site..or upgrading is easy..
    5. Getting a refund may be more easier / possible if bought from the developer's site..
    6. Downloading from OVI does not warrant that there is no problem with the software.. as almost all the applications are anyways developed by 3rd parties and not Nokia..

  • Has anyone experienced download failure with Fringe Season 4 Enemy of My Enemy episode?

    I have purchased the season pass for "Fringe" season 4 (2011-2012) and I am having a problem downloading a specific episode - "Enemy of My Enemy" which aired Friday January 20 and was available for download on Saturday January 21. I have been completely unable to successfully download this episode - and only this episode. Since the first failure, iTunes has successfully downloaded the following items, all also purchased via a season pass: "Criminal Minds" (air date 2012-01-25), "Big Bang Theory" (air date 2012-01-26), and the latest episode of "Fringe" (air date 2012-01-27).
    I have submitted a support request to Apple and have received so far one response - I have attempted all of the suggestions and reviewed the link (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2384) and nothing has worked. I have attempted to download the episode to a Windows 7 machine - same failure. I have attempted to download the episode to a different Mac - same failure.
    The end result of each attempt has been either an error "50" or an error "8008" after approximately 500 Mb of the episode is downloaded (out of approximately 1.4 Gb total). I have changed the download from an external drive to an internal drive, and still get the same error.
    Only this one episode of this one show am I experiencing failure.
    Any help will be greatly appreciated, and I would especially appreciate hearing either from anyone experiencing the same problem with this episode, or anyone who has successfully downloaded this episode.

    Update: I have now successfully downloaded the HD version of "Enemy of My Enemy." However, I can't say what happened to make this possible.
    After complaining to Apple and failing to get any meaningful response, I waited about 12 hours and then tried again to resume the download with Store > Check for Available Downloads and again got the same -50 error message. Tried a few times, in fact.
    Then, just for fun, although I'd already tried this several times previously, I quit iTunes, deleted my ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Downloads folder, and reopened iTunes. Then I again chose Store > Check for Available Downloads. While the download was in progress, I paused it and resumed it several times, because it seemed to be going very slowly and sometimes I've found that when I pause and resume, downloads go more quickly afterwards. That was the case again with this file. Once it was going at a good clip, I held my breath as it approached the 500.2 MB mark, but the download just zipped right past and continued all the way to the end.
    It may have been that Apple actually listened to us and fixed a broken file on their end. (However, even if so, something is still not right, because we shouldn't continue getting the -50 error messages when we try to resume partially downloaded files.) Another possibility, and this is purely speculation, is that when you pause and resume, sometimes the download resumes from a different server. If that is the case, then it's conceivable that at least one server has always had a broken file and at least one has always had a good version, so that it was, and is, the luck of the draw as to which version gets sent to whom. But again, that's just a wild guess.

    I purchased a music video last night but during the download there was an internet failure. I could continue the download once connected again but the video is now corrupt and when I open it it crashes iTunes. Can I delete the download & download it again at no cost?

    iCloud storage has nothing to do with downloading a movie to the iPad because it is local storage that you need - space on the iPad itself - not in iCloud. So why you got this message makes no sense.
    You could try deleting apps or other TV shows or videos to make room to finish the download - or if you want a refund - even though all sales are final according to the terms of the iTunes Store - you can request one from iTunes Store Support and see if they will oblige.

  • Download failure for pages, keynote and numbers

    Can anyone help me?
    I was having a very tough time updating pages, numbers and keynote under Mavericks - so, I upgraded to Yosemite.
    Then I had a very tough time upgrading to Yosemite - now finally done.   And again, I receive the messages "Numbers/Pages/Keynote failed to download  Use the Purchases page to try again"
    Getting a little tired of this multiple failure process!!!
    And thoughts on how to get these 3 programs properly installed?  Nothing seems to work.
    Please advise.

    Please test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.
    Step 1
    Rebuild the Spotlight index. If you try to search now from the magnifying-glass icon in the top right corner of the display, there will be an indication that indexing is in progress.
    Step 2
    Unlock the Network preference pane, if necessary, by clicking the lock icon in the lower left corner and entering your password. Cllck Advanced, open the DNS tab, and change the server addresses to the following:
              8.8.8.8
              8.8.4.4
    That's Google DNS. Click OK, then Apply.
    Step 3
    Quit the App Store if it's running. Force quit if necessary.
    Please triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    defaults write -app "App Store" ShowDebugMenu YES
    Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
    Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
    Paste into the Terminal window by pressing the key combination command-V. I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.
    Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear below what you entered. You can then quit Terminal.
    Launch the App Store. There should now be a menu labeled Debug in the menu bar at the top of the screen. From that menu, select
              Reset Application
    Quit again and relaunch. Test.
    Optionally, remove the Debug menu by quitting the App Store and entering the command below in the same way as before:

  • PDF download failure in 33.0.2

    Firefo has just upgraded itself to 33.0.2. Since then when I try to download a PDF from my website, the PDF shows a failure. It works fine in all other browsers.
    If I try to save the file, instaed of opening it, I get this message:
    C:\Users\Harry\AppData\Local\Temp\ctl3Uk4R.pdf.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.
    (it always gives this message, but is fine in all other browsers)

    #Click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]] and click Options (for Linux and Mac Preferences) button.
    #In the Options (for Linux and Mac Preferences) window, select the ''Applications'' tab.
    #In the ''Search'' field, type ''PDF''. You should find ''Portable Document Format (PDF)''.
    #On the right hand side you should find an ''Action'' column. Use that to select your favorite PDF reader. In order to view PDF files in Firefox, choose ''Preview in Firefox''. If you don't know which one to pick, choose Preview in Firefox.
    #Try the PDF file again.

  • Adobe CC + Muse Download + Changed Default Location mid swing

    I made the mistake a few days ago to change the default installation directory in Adobe Creative Cloud while I was in the process of downloading Muse - It was my first program, and I honestly thought it would take longer to download.
    The issue is that I have no clue where Muse is being installed to, and cannot run the program after install. I have been successful with Dreamweaver and other applications since the change, but uninst/reinst of Muse has no effect.
    Is there a way to delete any history of having this program installed before and trying again? Where would I find the 'limbo' files?

  • Downloading Adobe Muse - Download Application Manager Error

    When trying to download a trial version of Muse, the following occurs:
    "Do you want to allow this website to open a program on your computer?" So I 'Allow'...
    Momentarily the following error appears (I was only able to read it by taking a screenshot for the 2 seconds is was visible...)
    "We've encountered the following issues:
    Other instances of Adobe Application Manager are currently running which mut be closed before installing this product. Please close or wait for them to complete."
    It then looks like its doing something with the usual download progress bar which takes approx 30 secs and then states:
    "Adobe Application Manager failed to install" So I have no choice but to select 'Quit'.
    Any advice would be more than appreciated

    So going to try this solution:
    His fix was surprisingly simple. He had me create a new user account in Windows with full administrative privileges. He then had me log in as that new user and install Acrobat there. Once I logged back in under my usual username, there was Acrobat and it worked seamlessly.
