Muse Lightbox Editing

I'm working on building my first website in Muse. I have found that the lightbox feature is ideal for what I am trying to accomplish. Is there a way to bulk edit the different lightbox slides? I'm looking to utilize 8 different triggers that will pull up information about the products on the site, so they need to be identical. I am having difficulty copy/pasting and making them match, so a bulk edit would be extremely useful.
Any help would be greatly apprecaited.

Hello,
You should be able to edit the triggers together if you're using the lightbox widget from the "Slideshow" section of the Widget Library. For that you have an option in the slideshow options that says "Edit Together". It is enabled by default, check to see if it was disabled, if you're using the lightbox widget from the "Slideshow" section.
For compositions, you'll need to edit the triggers manually.

Muse does not pick up and display the file name by default.
However, the slideshow Lightbox has a Caption option in which you can manually type the file name there and display it anywhere on/around the picture.

How to bring a website into Adobe muse for editing?

Adobe Muse only allows .muse files for editing. You can't import a previously created page say in Dreamweaver into Muse.

Vimeo autoplay disfunctional on Muse lightbox and IE11.

I am advising clients to upload their videos only to YouTube when submitting their videos to us. We use Muse lightboxes to play videos which are always set to autoplay. This is tough on photographers and videographers who tend to prefer Vimeo. Some have already submitted their videos on Vimeo and we have asked them to re-submit on YouTube.
What happens if you place a Vimeo video in a Muse lightbox widget set to autoplay using IE11?
It will play immediately when the page is loaded and totally disregard the lightbox trigger.
The result is a horrible cataclysmic experience for the user.

Here are the screen shots that I see. It sort of appears that there are different states for the trigger image (as noticed on the right bottom corner of the screen.) You can see that I can select the various states either at the top left where it says "Trigger: active" or at the bottom right on the tab "States". However, when I preview in a browser, there button doesn't have different states.

Muse Lightbox slideshow: Hero images are undersize & cropped, can't select to change them

Mac, Mavericks, & Muse: First website: Building Lightbox slideshow. When a thumbnail is clicked in Preview mode, Hero image is undersized and cropped (placed jpgs are max 600 pixels x smaller). Back in Design mode, I can't select the Hero to resize it. Both thumbnails and Hero images are set to Fit Content Proportionally.

scale the frame for the Hero image to the intended area, then get the dimensions of that area using a rectangle. Copy the vaues to make a new Photoshop document and
manually import the images individually and save the resulting JPEGs which will have the additional space around the image to fill it for the Hero (ideally scale the image to fill the target space by losing any necessary empty space).
Essentially the original images you're using must be the same as the resulting frame which is no good if they're all different sizes. Yeah, it's a pain.

Muse | Lightbox doesn't pop-up at Google Chrome

Hi everyone,
I made my portfolio website with Adobe Muse (v6/v7). The website includes several 'lightboxes' on one page. The lightboxes work correctly in the webbrowers; IE, Firefox and Safari, but they do not work in Google Chrome.
Anyone an idea?

My Adobe Business Catalyst (Web Hosting) continues to function, however, I require immediate need to return to MUSE to edit my website. HELP!

Please assist me on getting my website back into MUSE for simple editing and more... My ability to return to MUSE needs direct attention. Or, I have to rebuild the enter website with a different domain name.
Where did my simple icon go to return editing in MUSE?

Muse Lightbox in mobil landscape mode

I am not having much success with video on mobile devices with lightbox when the device is placed in landscape mode. Video is sourced from You Tube. Website GUI is still present and distorted. How to deal with that?

I just started using Muse and must say it is awesome. However, I am wondering if I can take websites that were created with Dreamweaver and edit them with Muse?

It is not possible to edit html files in Muse at the moment. Muse can read only .muse files.

Composition Lightbox editing issues

I am struggling with Compostion/Lightbox Display/ to embed videos frmo Vimeo.
When I want to add more thumbnails at the top it is difficult to place the video.
The first three work, but when I hit the arrow to add a fourth and then embed the fourth target, ... instead it edits the the third target instead.

I'm unable to reproduce the problem with embedding a video on an additional fourth target in a Composition Lightbox.
The default three Target Containers have an Image frame within their targets. However, when you add more slides to the Composition, they just have an empty Container where you would be placing the HTML embedding code for the video.
I would suggest removing the Image frames from the Containers of the first three targets as well (in order to maintain consistency) and place video on each of the Target containers. The default Fill color for the Container is black so you might find it a little inconvenient noticing the placed HTML unless you hover over the container or change the color of the Container (as the Youtube player frame is black in color too, probably the same for Vimeo)
If the above doesn't help, please try re-inserting the Composition Lightbox and follow the above steps.

Muse Lightbox goes fullscreen?

I have a lightbox on my page that when you click the plus sign is supposed to look like this:

But when I publish it the lightbox does this:
I can't seem to figure out why it goes full screen, I assume that something within the expanding lightbox that is bigger than the container (maybe?). That is just my assumption since I can't prove it (otherwise I wouldn't be asking this question haha). You can look at my published example at internetprophets.businesscatalyst.com
Am I just misunderstanding that Lighbox can only be full screen?

But when you preview it in Muse or the a browser the image is cropped off on the bottom. I have tried resizing the image to be drastically smaller but I still get the same result in 100% width in Lightbox.

I have an image of a map I'd like to incorporate into my site. When you peruse the page, I'd like a cropped version to be visible. When you click on the cropped version, I would like a full size verison of the map to expand and take up a majority of the screen, while the background becomes greyed out until the user clicks away and goes back to the site.
Is this feature possible in Muse? Is this what is referred to as a lightbox? Let me know your thoughts, thanks!

Yep the Lightbox is what you are looking for .... use the slideshow one not the components one.

Muse menu editing & BC Blog - solution comments please

New to Muse & BC.
Created a site in muse, uploaded to MC no problem and added a news feed this shows on the site preview from BC but the news sub menu under in the know doesnt preview in muse.
I followed in detail the muse and BC blog tutorial video, created BC main template, added {tag_pagecontent} but I now understand that I cannot re-edit the muse menu hyperlinks.

I have tried exporting blog page from muse and excluding it to no avail.
Site structure is fairly simple but though I can preview the blog at:

the blog doesnt show up @ http://mumsformums2.businesscatalyst.com/blog.html, I just get a page not found content holder text within {tag page element}
as I have currently excluded uploading the blog page from muse, the blog page doesnt show up in my pages.
I have tred creating a new page and asigning it the name blog but I get an error on publish that the page name is already being used by mums for mums blog.
I am sure this is something on the blog side or within BC
any help would be appreciated.
OK so I get to access the blog at:

http://mumsformums2.businesscatalyst.com/blog.html
so how do I reedit the muse menu on the master and the BC Main template to point to mumsformums/blog and not blog.html?
My solution so far: I have managed to get use a redirect to the http://mumsformums2.businesscatalyst.com/blog via URL Redirect.
As the page loads the main menu state was not correct (inactive as opposed to active).....so I then created an new muse master from scatch and applied the relevant styles to the BC menu master, I guess if I need another dynamic master within BC I will have to create another that is a child of the main master within muse.
Comments would be great if this is not the correct approach.

This would need to be transparent for m'y client...

Unfortunately we cannot change site template of a live site in BC , but as a workaround Create a site from BC using the template you wish to use then publish the site from Muse to the site created from BC and transfer the contents stored from live site to trial site. Ater final transition is done , you can delete the already paid site and make live the new trial site which includes new site template.

Resizing video in muse lightbox

Hey,
I've been working on a video site and I'm using lightbox.
Two things
1- every time I try to resize the video to fit it doesn't do it. In fact it brings in the video smaller.
Any thoughts on how to get this widget to behave.
2- I'd like to just have a wall of thumnails and a video on top... rather than the lightbox. Which widget is great for video?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Muse lightbox widget

I want to use the lightbox widget with an initial picture and then I want to have other pictures that are stacked and triggered to display when the mouse hovers over the thumbnail trigger. When the mouse is not over one of the triggers i want the initial picture to display.
Additionally, can you have a flyout menu as part of the trigger that will serve as links to other pages. Lastly, I have been able to resize the target that hols the puctures, but the black frame that surrounds it will not resize. I want the taget to be 800 x 250 with the outer border slightly larger in order to give the appearance of a frame.
