Muse not publishing properly to Business Catalyst

I'm building a portfolio website in Muse. It's all laid out right in the design screen, but when I publish it to my .businesscatalyst domain, a few of the sections get cut out and I have no idea why it isn't exporting exactly what I'm seeing in my design screen.
The site is alexmichael.businesscatalyst.com. Everything is good until the "Fiat Abarth" section, but after the header image, it deletes a big chunk of the work.
Any help would be amazing.
Thanks!

Update:
I had a few videos placed throughout the site design. They are being hosted on Vimeo and I pasted the embed code into Muse. After deleting those videos, everything went back to normal. Anybody know anything about this?

  • Why doesn't Muse menu display properly in Business Catalyst?

My web site is complete and ready to upload, but the menu will not display properly in Business Catalyst.  Have tried multiple times and ways to place the menu and nothing seems to work.  I even clear the cache before uploading.  I have even tried complete upload as opposed to just the modified files.  Nothing works!!!  There are no warnings or asset problems.  I have even tried putting the menu on a separate layer.  I should mention, the menu displays perfectly in "Preview".  I should also note that a highly modified menu on the Home page works perfectly!  The menu that does not work is on a "Master Page."  PLEASE HELP!!!

This is what a typical page is supposed to look like with the "menu" properly shown -
Here is the URL for Business Catalyst that will show how it came out on upload -

  • I have a creative cloud membership.  If I don't want to build a site in Muse, can I build a business Catalyst site and have hosted free with my creative cloud membership?

I have a creative cloud membership.  If I don't want to build a site in Muse, can I build a business Catalyst site and have hosted free with my creative cloud membership?

Yes you can! It is a Basic level site but you can build it without Muse. I think you may need to create the site originally with Dreamweaver or Muse (meaning creating the site with Business Catalyst not building the site) but once that is done you can use any software to create the code for the site and upload it via SFTP. Hope that makes sense.

  • Error message "SiteFile.getCRC called with no text or binary content" when trying to publish site to Business Catalyst

I'm trying to publish my site to business catalyst, but keep getting a pop-up message and muse shuts down. The error message says "SiteFile.getCRC called with no text or binary content".
No issues before, but I made a few font changes and now I won't upload. I've updated Air and uninstalled/reinstalled Muse. Not sure what the issue or where to start.
    Thanks for the help!

Could you please share your .muse file with us to investigate? Please email it to [email protected] If your file is greater than 20MB you can use something like Adobe SendNow or SendThisFile or Dropbox. • Working with Muse and other CMS outside Business Catalyst

    Hi!
Well I have been using Adobe Muse and I love it so far, I have been experimenting with some animation on Edge and integrating it to Muse, also like it since I got rid of Flash players, and also has been looking at Business Catalyst. I like the last one very much but here is the thing... not all my clients are so convinced about that! They want to use their choice hosting service which is not Business Catalyst. And although it has pretty cool stuff clients want freedom of choosing something else. Is there any chance Muse will be able in a near future to integrate other CMS and let us designers to have that choice in an easy way?
    Thank you

I am trying to attempt similar...and I too am looking for answers. If you solved it please let me know. I have been trying to utilize the tutorial listed above.

  • Tooltip widget bug? Shows up correctly in Muse preview, distorted content on business catalyst.

This is a cross question from Adobe Muse Bugs, as it also affects business catalyst.
I have 3 panels on my tooltip.
3 different descriptions for each one.
Preview mode shows up accurately on what I have designed, but when uploaded to business catalyst, only the distorted description from the first tooltip panel shows up.
The descriptions are really just rasterised text, with a translucent rectangle behind it.
This issue is not observed when viewing exported html file. Browser used to test is Google Chrome
What is the problem here? The widget? Muse? Business Catalyst? Chrome? And how do I fix it?
I'm not sure how I'd upload the html files here, but the link for the hosted site on Business Catalyst is here: Home

Ok, I've checked the site linked here with Safari.
It works normally, so I'm thinking it's a Chrome problem.

  • Publishes fine on business catalyst, but redirects tablet files to replace the desktop files on iPage

I have published a www.charlottehrconsulting.com site here on business catalyst: HOME | Charlotte HR Consulting where the desktop, tablet and phone versions look fine. However, when I post it on my iPage host, it redirects the desktop files to the tablet files as default. I read about the Google Chrome bug, but I need this fixed now. Is there a way I can download the files from bc? I tried importing to Dreamweaver, but it looks like I would have to recreate/code too much of it. I just need the desktop files to upload the tablet and phone versions are fine--I think. Thanks in advance for your time/help.

    Thanks Gaurav
I've got more than one editable region in the body, and want other body parts to be un-editable, so that answers that question, even if its not the answer I would have liked! I guess from that answer that Dreamweaver created nested templates are going to be a no-no for BC as well?
I think what I am learning is that Dreamweaver and BC are stitched together rather than seamlessly integrated! I'm coming at this from the Dreamweaver side thinking that maybe BC could be useful initially for allowing others to view and make minor amendments to draft websites, and maybe wholesale adoption later. But having BC transforming my dreamweaver created files is a bit of a no-no - I'm only experimenting.
For the moment, if I persisted with BC, I can bake the html files when transferring them to the BC test site, people can comment and amend text, and I can copy back across to the working copy. Otherwise there seems to be a new learning curve which I can't afford right now. But I can dabble around with BC and see how the pros and cons stack up.

  • How to add a user when Muse site is uploaded without Business Catalyst?

    Hello,
I have uploaded a Muse site for my client on her own ftp server. But how can I add her as a "inbrowser editor", so that she can manage the site when needed? Or is it only possible to add a user when I upload the site on the Business Catalyst host?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
The June 2014 update to Muse enables In-Browser Editing for Muse sites hosted with third-party (non-Adobe) providers.
    See https://helpx.adobe.com/muse/using/whats-new.html#In-browser%20Editing%20enhancements for specifics.

i just accepted the new adobe policy and now i cant publish anymore. When i click on publish this error pops up: unknown business catalyst error has occured: status 403, 107003

    Hi, Aish,
That cleared it up, thanks for the quick response. You might consider sending an email that lets users know of this issue. I would never have figured it out. I don't often log on to the main Adobe site.
