Muse output zeigt Farbunterschiede

1. Screenshots wären für einen ersten Eindruck unerlässlich.
2. Nochmals: Betrifft das Problem Bilder oder sonstige Elemente?
3. Wenn es Bilder sind, solltest du hier ein Original(!), keinen Screenshot, anhängen.

  • How do I create a Forum in Muse.

I have tried to research how to create a Forum in Muse and have not come up with anything.  Is there anyone who has done this?

Muse output static pages only and does not interact with databases to create dynamic content. You could however, take advantage of Adobe hosting through Business Catalyst (webMarketing plan and above) that supports building a forum, however, there is no native support in Muse to integrate that as of yet. You would need to have knowledge of HTML/CSS and CMS's to get this done.
If you search through this forum, you'll find quite a few threads that may be helpful to begin with.

  • How do I add HTML5 animations from Adobe Edge in my Muse site?

For now, here are the steps to use Edge output in Muse.
Put all output files generated from Edge in the same folder that you want to export Muse output files. (keep all the subfolder structure e.g. edge_includes
In Muse, use Object->Insert HTML... menu to insert the following code:
    <iframe src="Project-Header-r1v1.html" width="100%" height="100%" frameborder="0" scrolling="no">
    </iframe>
    Note
"Project-Header-r1v1.html" is a HTML file name that part of your Edge output.
Do not copy and paste the content in "Project-Header-r1v1.html" file directly since this refers to different jQuery file and it will also cause a duplicate Javascript include which break the output.
         3. Export your Muse site to the folder.
Here's a movie showing Edge and Muse together:

Adding a script after the closure of previous script is the way to go i.e. right after the </script> tag.
So it should look something like below:
    <script>
    Google's script
    </script>
    <script>
    Bing's script
    </script>
Cannot comment on one interfering with the other since it really depends on what exact code is there in the scripts. Google and Bing help resources will be able to help more with this.

  • Is it possible to create an HTML email newsletter using Muse?

I'm creating a newsletter for my business and have tried many newsletter online newsletter providers (MailChip, Behance, etc.) but none of them really let me create something freely - I have to stick to their templates which aren't possible to manipulate.
I was hoping I could use Adobe Muse to create my newsletter to be sent out to my mailing list. I should say I don't know HTML - I just want to be able to export it and send it out without having to use any coding.
    Thanks in advance,
    Zoe

    Hi Zoe
Muse doesn't output HTML optimized for e-mail output.
Muse output is designed for the requirements of popular web browsers on desktops, tablets and phones. The requirements for generating HTML/CSS that works well across popular e-mail readers are very different.

  • Using multiple audio output devices.

Hey, does anybody know a program for assigning different audio outputs to different applications. For example, having Safari and the OS outputing to the computer speakers, while iTunes and Muse output to bluetooth speakers/headphones (non airport). Can it be done?

Sound Bunny is a nice replacement for Detour, which got lost in the move from PPC years ago. Hoever, there is a small bug with sites with audio (auto-play audio, that is) in Safari 7 (at least). They return the error below and won't load. This happen on other sites, but if it happens on the Google site as well, then something is seriously wrong. The company tech support insists: "SoundBunny will not stop any website from loading. SoundBunny is a audio controlling software and does not control which websites to load." ~ Abu; Prosoft Engineering Customer Support
Even after sending them two screenshots like this, I have gotten no response and no answer to how I might REMOVE the plugin from Safari. So while I like the program, I would be able to RECOMMEND IT if the comapny was at least responsive and recognizes that there is, in fact, an issue to be resolved.

  • Where are the Muse reviews?

Not sure if this is the right place to bring this up, but I couldn't see anywhere else on the forum more appropriate.
I was e-mailed quite a while ago now asking if I would write a review of Muse, which I duly did, and submitted it.
I then got a message back from Adobe, now over two weeks ago, that my review had been accepted and was "live on our site".
Well, the link supposedly to my review that was in the message just goes to the Muse homepage, after several re-directs, and I can find no reviews of Muse anywhere on the Adobe site!
So, what's all that about? Where exactly are these reviews?
    Cheers, Dave.

Hi RobertoBlake, it's great to hear about your review plans!
If/when you encounter hand-coders discussing Muse generated code, please consider pointing them toward our recent blog post http://blogs.adobe.com/muse/2012/10/29/code-improvements-in-muse-1-0-and-2-0/. and encourage them to give us feedback here on the forum regarding approaches to improving page load time, browser compatibility, SEO and accessibility. Those are the 4 key factors we consider when working to improve code generation from Muse. One thing that's very important to many hand-coders that is much lower priority for us is generating code intended for maintenance by a hand-coder.
Most of the negative comments regarding Muse code date back from Public Beta 1, a year ago August, and/or those lending their "me to's" without actually looking at the current code output. There have been huge improvements to Muse code generation (and all aspects of Muse) since Public Beta 1 and we still have a long list of additional potential improvements we've identified. We'll continue to work our way through that list (and add to it, when additional potential improvements are identified) and make improvements to Muse output with virtually every new release—improvements Muse users can take full advantage of by simply updating and opening and re-exporting/uploading/publishing their sites.

  • Making a Adobe muse into cms with web menu

    HI people,
After lots of hard work i have worked out a way how to turn a adobe muse site into a cms for a client. use the Adobe incontent editor.
They can change pictures, text and slideshows.
Only one thing i need help with. Is there a way when a client add a webpage it can automatically add into the web menu?
I know if I upgrade hosting plans you can do it but client doesnt want to spent that much on hosting.
Is there a plugin what can do the same thing? or can you some how do it on the basic hosting.
    Thanks

    Hi ographix,
You would need to upgrade to a higher BC plan and insert the dynamic menu module.  Since Muse outputs static pages with menus based off site structure, the only way you can have a menu which adapts based off change on the server would be to leverage those advanced features in BC.
If you are interested in these features of BC (and don't mind learning some code):
    http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1921
    http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1903
Otherwise, its a matter of getting that content from your client and using it to create a new page in your Muse file, followed by republishing onto the server.
    Regards,
    Justin

  • Any way to create a form that allows users to create profiles that can be viewed by other users?

I'm working on a social media site, and I would like to give users the ability to create simple profiles that can be viewed by other users. Is there any way I can do this in Muse CC? Any good resource websites with code I can embed?

Muse form widgets can only email the form submission data to a specified email address for non-BC hosting at this time. For BC with webCommerce plan and above, this should be possible with the help of webApps however, that is an advanced topic and would require some knowledge of CMS and HTML to implement <http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/partner/web-apps.html>.
Also this will not be possible with Muse on its own as Muse outputs static pages only and what you are looking for requires backend technology to work (that BC offers).
    Thanks,
    Vinayak

  • Get Rid of the Text-as-Image Export

For the life of me I can't figure out why Adobe would add such an irritating feature and not allow it to be toggled.
Come on Adobe developers, exercise some intelligence here.
I am aware there are potential licensing issues but let's review:
You cannot use system fonts that are not considered 'web safe' without them exporting as image, even though 99% of Windows users will have them and Mac users will have no trouble with them being substituted.
It makes manual CSS font stacks useless since Muse abandons this possibility when it goes the image route.
There are plenty of TypeKit fonts available through Creative Cloud that are accessible when synced, yet many of them are not in Muse's library so will also force image export. If it synced through CC and is licensed for web use then there are no licensing issues. Export as text and let the user drop in their TypeKit code.
Many users will use Google/Typekit web fonts perfectly fine but downloading and self-hosting the font files just to use them in Muse is a waste of time and not necessarily possible.
The workaround is to use a completely different font, thus upsetting the page layout, just so that it exports as text and a simple find and replace can be used to change font-family.
I can't even use Open Sans without it exporting as an image. Seriously? Likely the most widespread web font in existence and you force an image export. That's just bad.
Please get rid of this... allow users to turn image exports off and handle font styling ourselves or remove it entirely.
It was fine beforehand when you could use any font installed locally, including CC synced Typekit fonts, with only the Muse fonts triggering placing of a Muse Typekit code.
This resulted in users having to intervene post-export to have web fonts render properly if they weren't available through Muse which was perfectly reasonable.

    Feature Requests
    1. Provide access to the complete Typekit font offering.
    2. Provide the ability to define and use your own font fallback stacks (aka Web Safe font definitions)
    Possible Misconceptions
    1. Open Sans isn't readily available as a Web Font in Muse
    2. We've changed something in the generated code that makes it more difficult to manually edit the output.
You're correct. The paid Typekit library is not currently easily available from within Muse. We continue to lobby the Typekit team for changes required to enable paid Typekit in a seamless UI within Muse, but thus far we have yet to reach the top of their development team's priority list.
If you're familiar with font stacks you're aware there are very few truly "web safe" fonts. In most cases using a "web safe" font means settling for one of a handful of fonts depending on the OS or device being used to view your site. That font variation means variations in the line breaks within text frames and thus changes to text frame heights which are likely to result in changes to the overall layout of your pages. In most cases a Web Font is a much better choice if the visual fidelity of your design is an important part of your site. It's unlikely Muse will provide the ability to define arbitrary font stacks. Given the target market of Muse and our small development team, future additional font support will likely continue to be in the area of Web Fonts.
If you select "Add Web Fonts" in the Web Fonts section of the Fonts menu you can browser a library of 500+ font families that are provided for free and hosted on Adobe's Typekit service. This set of free fonts is marketed as "Edge Web Fonts." The Edge Web Fonts offering started as the set of public domain fonts hosted by Google with a small number removed due to quality issues and a small number added from the set of fonts Adobe wholly owns. The majority of the ~650 web fonts now hosted by Google are part of the 500+ web fonts readily available within Muse.
Open Sans is one of the font families in the Edge Web Fonts library. Go to "Add Web Fonts" in the Fonts menu, type "open" in the search field of the Web Fonts dialog, click on Open Sans and it will be added to the Web Fonts section of your Muse Font menu for easy future use. On your site the font will be provided via Typekit without any page view limits or requirement to be a Creative Cloud subscriber.
To my knowledge there have not been any changes in Muse output that should impact your ability to use a Web Safe font in Design view, then alter the generated code to replace that font with a font from some other source (i.e. paid Typekit, Fonts.com hosting, etc.). It's never been possible to use a System Font in Muse and then alter the output code to replace the font, since the output for a text frame that uses a System Font has always been an image.
Thank you for taking the time to voice your opinions and provide feature requests.

  • MuseJSAssert Error

Recently update from CS6 to CC.  Site on GoDaddy has error MuseJSAssert Error: error calling selector function: Error "webPro" is not defined.  I have upload all pages, as well as published HTML and uploaded entire site with Dreamweaver with same result.  This site worked without error when published with CS6.

    Hi,
If you remove the script, will it still give you the error? If so, please share the url of the web page where you have this error. Also, if removing the script fixes the issue then in that case, I'm afraid we won't be able to suggest a workaround, as we do not have control of other scripts interacting with the Adobe Muse output.

  • Jagged edges on rotated picture boxes

It seems as though it's a bug. As I rotate imported images the outer edge and hard edges in the actual images are noticably jagged. As in the example. Any suggestions?

Agreed, but there's more to it. If an image is opaque and unrotate it can be output as a JPEG. If that same image is rotate 5 degrees, the current Muse output will still be an unrotated image, but with the original image rotated 5 degrees within the new image. However, the new image now has transparent areas and thus must be a PNG and will be ~5 times larger than the original JPEG. That means slower page load times.
The preferred approach (and our plan) is for Muse to move to using CSS to accomplish the rotation. This will allow the original JPEG to be downloaded since the browser will be performing the rotation. However, the quality of the resulting image in the browser will depend on the quality of the rotation algorithm the browser is using.
So, even once Muse has changed to use CSS for the rotation, it will still be up to you to decide whether you want the quality of pre-rotating images prior to placing them into Muse and the slower page load times associated with PNG images, or whether you want faster page load times and image display quality that will vary from browser to browser. We may at some point offer this option from within Muse, but it's relatively far down on the priority list at the moment.
Regarding re-linking, right-click on the image in the Assets panel and choose "Relink..."

  • Z-Index / layer issues with new YouTube widget!

    Hi!
I am experiencing a problem with the new social media "youtube" widget. I currently have two layers in my projects. It is a parallax scrolling project where the menu initially scrolls and then sticks to the top. When continuing to scroll, the embedded YouTube video widget does not scroll underneath the menu as it should but scrolls over the menu. This is strange, as the YouTube widget was placed on level 1 and the menu is on level 2. Shouldn’t the menu then always be on top? Could it be that that the new widget doesn’t set z-index correctly?
You can view my web draft (and look at the code) here: http://www.firstlight.at
    Any help greatly appreciated!

I was able to fix the problem and I believe this to definetly be a bug in Muse....
In order to prevent iframed Youtube widgets to swim on top of all other Divs, I had to change the code, adding wmode="transparent" and wmode="Opaque" to the iframe class. This only works if you change all the other parameters behind the src tag from "&" to "&amp".
Here was the original code generated by Muse. This couldnt prevent my "2nd Layer" to slip below "Layer 1".
    <iframe class="actAsDiv" width="487" height="275" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/X6GBk42nLOE?&;autoplay=0&;loop=0&;showinf o=0&;theme=dark&;color=red&;controls=0&;modestbranding=1&;start=0&;fs= 0&;iv_load_policy=3" frameborder="0"></iframe>
Making the following changes to the code, forced the Youtube widget below all other divs again (I have hightlighted all changes to bold, so you can see the needed changes easily):
    <iframe class="actAsDiv" width="487" height="275" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/X6GBk42nLOE&am?wmode=transparent&amp;autoplay=0&amp;loop=0&amp;showinfo=0&amp;theme=dark&amp;color=red&amp;controls=0&amp;modestbranding=1&amp;start=0&amp;fs=0&amp;iv_load_policy=3" frameborder="0" wmode="Opaque"></iframe>
Make sure, that you dont miss the following change: You need to change all "&" adders to "&amp" otherwise this procedure will not work!
After the new release, I am sure the Adobe team is working hard to bug bust the latest release. But I do hope this one will be busted soon, otherwise users using the youtube widget will have to recode Muse output everytime we make a change and this is exactly what Muse is striving to prevent (; Afterall, in Dreamweaver you could hardcode the change and it would stick!
Hope this will be of help to someone!

  • To include a guestbook

    Hi everyone,
I would like to know, how to include guestbook in Adobe Muse.
My customers want to put some comments on a  GuestBook...
    Widget? Html Code?
    Thanks in Advance.

This would require server side scripting to process the submitted data, insert it into a database and retrieve those comments on a page. Muse outputs purely HTML pages and such CMS features aren't natively supported in Muse at this time. However, this is possible to achieve if you publish the site to Business Catalyst and use the Comments module for the purpose (available in webMarketing plan and above) where the Users and Comments data would be stored on BC servers that you can always manage through the BC admin. Though this would require some coding skills to implement.
Or an easier alternative would be using Facebook Comments if that fits your purpose - http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/comments/
    Thanks,
    Vinayak

  • Adobe Comp app output to Muse ?

Hey, there's this new app kid in mobile town, called Adobe Comp ! Did you already give it a try ?
It's brilliant, it has this brand new idea of a "toolbox" – your finger ! Just draw and there it is !
But when it comes to the output, all this mobile ingenuity doesn't handoff to Adobe Muse...

I'm constantly paranoid that I am going to accidentally delete a project, and when it's gone, it's gone. When you Send To Indesign/Illustrator, a copy is made on your computer's hard drive that illustrator/inDesign etc can open, although you can't send any of those back to the iPad, so as an emergency you could in someway recover work from there (on a mac they're stored in /Users/XXXXXXX/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/PushToDesktop). As a result I have so many files that are nearly the same, but that I can't archive just in case. A recycle bin on assets.adobe.com would be a very welcome addition. Any chance of making a that a feature Adobe?

  • Having some issues tweaking the Blog Post List Layout to output to adobe Muse

Please see my question progression here from Muse side:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/5109260
So basically, I have watched the videos on BC Gurus and have posed the question on modifying the blog module in muse to get output I want.  when I use module {module_blogsitepost} it does not show all the information I want, but when I click a url to a blog post, it jumps to another page that shows the "BLOG TITLE", "BLOG DESCRIPTION", "RECENT POST", TAGS,  and "ARCHIVE" which I think would be helpful on the main {module_blogsitepost} module.
So, i took the tags from the "OVERALL BLOG LIST MODULE" which does have that information and pasted  into the module {module_blogsitepost} which in BC under modules is Blog Post List Layout.  However the output just turns to the image below:
I really do not know what I am doing wrong, if anything at all.  Is this a limit of the cooperation between adobe MUSE and BC?  Should not make a difference if I am copying all the HTML and passing it into the HTML view  of the Module I want.  Why is there not a bracket { } module for "OVERALL BLOG LIST MODULE" on the http://kb.worldsecuresystems.com/134/bc_1345.html ?
It is strange that there are modules in BC that do not show code strings to generate the output shown on this list?  Is it because this capability is limited?  It is strange.  Please jump over to my site ( http://furnitureassemblyservice.com/blog.html ) to see what I mean.  BTW, I added the Tags Module to the site so that at least shows.
One other question.. And maybe this is a Muse question, I try to add text or objects to the side of the blog entry but they are pushed to the bottom?  Not sure if I need to add this into an object with the Module and mark it up in html with a table to make that work?  I ask because I am trying to monitize the blog and add banners to the side or top.
    Thank you for the time.

The recommended practice is to call preventDefault on the dragStart event.
