Muse overlap in Safari 5.1.7

My client is telling me there is an overlap in html juicebox gallery I am using.  He is seeing it overlap the footer in safari 5.1.7.  I am not seeing it in 5.1.5 or firefox or muse itself.
I have tried a ton of things to get this fixed, the overlap page is below.  Any help would be awesome.  Thanks!

I just tried your link there and it overlaps the footer quiet considerbly. I'm using Safari 6.02 on a Mac.

    I have a problem with characters overlapping in Safari. I used to work fine, then one day a bunch of sites don't work right. They do however work in firefox.
    Another problem I think might be related is; some pages don't load all of the content in Safari, but Firefox will.

    www.imageshack.us can be used for hosting a screenshot image, which can then be linked to here by posting the url imageshack creates.
    For the font problem, have you tried launching Font Book (in the Applications folder) to see if you have any duplicate fonts? Duplicate fonts will have a bullet point to the right of the name. If any do, select them and then from the Edit menu select 'Resolve Duplicates'
    Quit and restart Safari to see if that makes any difference.
    Failing that, try running [FontNuke|http://www.jamapi.com/pr/fn> to clear out all font caches.

  • Muse (2014.3) no more transparency working in Safari (8.0.4)

    Hello, since the last update of Muse (2014.3) there is no more transparency working in Safari (8.0.4).
    In Muse it looks like ever, but If I take a look of the site in Safari, there is no transparency on any pictures. So it is not possible to read the text.
    This is really bad and I need a solution as soon as possible!!
    What can I do?

    seit dem letzten Update von Muse habe ich keine Transparenzen mehr auf meinen Bildern! In Muse selbst ist alles wie immer, jedoch wenn ich die Site im Browser lade, werden keinerlei Transparenzen mehr angezeigt. Das ist gelinde gesagt ziemlich schlecht, da meine Texte nicht mehr lesbar sind und das Design der Seite enorm darunter leidet.
    Hat jemand von diesem Bug schon gehört und irgendwelche Lösungsvorschläge? Danke

    Please provide site url where the opacity does not work, also add more details such as which page and page section.

    How do I get my font to go back to normal and stop overlapping in safari?

    1. Empty Caches
        Safari > Preference > Advanced
        Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
        Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
        Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
    2. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
        Turn off Extensions if any and launch Safari again to test.
        Turn on those one by one and test.

  • How to Have Overlapping Applications

    What's I've noticed, is that if I have an application in full screen mode, eg. Safari, if I switch to another app (that's not in full screen), I'll be moved to the desktop before the app window opens.
    What I'm wondering, is if there's a way so that the app opens without switching me to the desktop? Can I set it so that it overlaps into Safari? (So I can view content in Safari, and this second app, simultaneously)

    You may:
    1) Create all the Type in position, with the overlaps;
    2) Type>Create Outlines, at least for the parts that are to overlap other parts (in some cases you may keep everything live Type, but not in the case shown because of the letter shapes and the mutual overlapping (such as Jumps/Over);
    3) Select each set of letters to overlap others and Object>Compound Path>Make;
    4) Object>Path>Offset Path by the desired gap round the letter shapes;
    5) Select the Compound Path that is offset and change its colour to white, now you should have at least a partial covering of the letters below;
    6) Object>Compound Path>Release, then Direct Select and delete the counter paths (those forming the counters/holes in the letters), now you should have at a further covering of the letters below;
    7) To get rid of any remaining bit and pieces, you may change the shape of the offset paths by cutting, deleting unnecesary parts (such as parts between serifs), and moving individual Anchor Points (outwards).
    If you wish to have the result on a coloured background, you may:
    8) Select the Group of cover up letters and the underlying letters and in the Transparency palette flyout click Make Opacity Mask with Clip unticked and Invert mask ticked.

    Muse 6.0、Mac OS-X 10.7.5で使用中です。先週あたりから始めて使ってみたのですが、新しいサイトの制作方法としてこれから主流になるのではないかという期待を充分に抱かせてくれます。むろんある程度のW EBに対する知識は必要ですが、HTML、CSS、JSのコーディングの部分はある程度Museに任せて、デザイナーはコンテンツの充実とユーザビリティに専念できる可能性が出てきたのではな いでしょうか。
    というわけで色々試みていますが、とりあえず目についた不都合（仕様？）をいくつか。
    ・テキスト部分、WEBフォント、WEBセーフフォントに設定した場合、テキストに効果がかけられない。
         システムフォント（画像として書き出し）にした場合は効果はかかる
    ・ブラウザ背景に画像を設定したときSafari（6.0.5）で表示されない。
    ・サブメニューの背景色、背景画像が指定できない。
    といったところです。わたしの使い方がおかしいだけかな？
    あと、対応するブラウザも明示してほしいところです。ブラウザチェックを忘れる事が出来たらこんなに嬉しい事はありません・・・

    This happens because these are not true links. Links created with Acrobat using the link tool do not have this problem. Acrobat and Reader have a feature that tries to automatically recognize urls so they can act as links, but it fails when the link contains a space.

    How do I get hyperlinks to open in new window? "Open in new window" box is checked under hyperlinks, but it just won't work. I'm previewing in a browser, not Muse (Chrome and Safari).

  • Chrome and Safari problem with webfont word spacing in Muse CC

    I'm designing a website using Typekit web font Open Sans 14pt. in Muse CC. When I preview page in Chrome or Safari (on Windows 7 64bit O.S.) the text doesn't display exactly word per line my Muse file. Words drop down to the next line. Almost like kerning has adjusted, but can't see it with the naked eye. However, using Chrome and Safari on my iPad, the text displays exactly the same as my Muse file - no problem. Using Firefox and Internet Explorer on the PC, no problem - text displays as per the Muse file. Problem only with Chrome and Safari on my PC. Tried playing with encoding etc in settings but no progress.

    Thanks for the reply. This is a live site, so I had to fudge it, which I did by incorporating most of the graphic elements into a layered Photoshop file and using that as the background. Instead of using an embedded video player, I had the video poster image open a new page, with the video embedded there. Finally, I made sure that none of the tooltip windows overlapped.
    That seems to have gotten me something I can use, but I'm still curious about making ordering work as it's not always possible to design around the overlapping windows.
    Is this not a problem you've seen before?
    Overall, I'm very enthusiastic about Muse and using it in conjunction with Catalyst to allow clients to do some updating.

    Thanks for replying, but that isn't the answer I am looking for.  Also, there is no + sign, UNLESS you do tap the overlapping boxes.
    Let me try to ask my question a little more clearly:
    When I tap the two overlapping boxes on the lower left (the option to Open New Windows), the new Window that appears will show your Bookmarked FAVORITES. But with my new iPhone 6, and the new iOS 8.0.2, when I tap the two boxes to open a New Window, my Bookmark Favorites show (as they always have and should), but below them, there is a dividing line underneath them, and it says Recently Viewed Websites, and has these websites available to tap.
    So my question is, HOW DO I TURN THESE OPTION OFF?
    *UPDATE  (10.13.14): Since I have asked this question, I no longer see these Recently Viewed Websites under my Bookmarked Favorites in my new Window tabs. So I hope that Apple fixed it, or somehow it was a mistake, or somehow I changed an Option on my iPhone 6 that stopped this for reoccurring.

    One your BEETHOVEN and BORDEAUX pages embed the photos in the text box itself so when the text box moves the photo move also. That will prevent the overlap you're seeing on those two page. My tutorial site is created that way: http://toadstutorials.info. On those pages I just added the photo to one line and set the justification for that line to center with the Inspector/Text/Text pane.

  • How to enable Safari Reader on a muse created site?

    I am having a problem getting the safari reader button to work on my muse created site. This is on the desktop and iOS Safari web browser. Some pages do pull content on the Chrome iReader extension but it appears to be random and not all of the content. I have consulted this link: http://mathiasbynens.be/notes/safari-reader

    Are you (=Installer) Admin on the box? I can install my CR on my machine only when I'm an Admin on the box:
    Go to My computer => Right Click => Manage =>Local Users & groups => groups => Administrator => and add your login ID in this group. - Sorry if it was unnecessary details...
