Muse phone site loads incorrectly

My uploaded desktop website loads properly but the phone version loads scaled down and aligned to the left with extra color on right.
Not having luck resolving this yet.

I'm having this same issue. I'm not sure at what building point this happened but when my site is viewed by a mobile all the 100% width features appear to stop working and everything is aligned to the left (except the header and menu does not seem to be affected).

I've also been testing it at different resolutions and it looks fine on my Mac retina display 2880 x 1800 pixels and on my PC 1920 x 1080. However it has the same issue on my other laptop 1366 x 768.

Adobe Muse Phone Site Problem

Hello Im making and phone site and i export it the size of the page is way off but the desktop site is perfectly as designed

yep it looks like it because of items that are extending past the page. See screen shots. Note Image frame of logo- crop images so it fits on page, Also saw some areas of text boxes extending past the edges. Don't treat the grey area of Muse like a pasteboard as in Illustrator or Indesign, assume all content is live.
on Phone layout I'd recommend either utilizing the margins or zeroing them out (photo below brings page content within your margins - also had some text boxes extending past the page. You had scroll effect on phone as well - Personal choice but I prefer not to use at this time on phone layouts it can be a bit jumpy.
Oh one more thing check your header on you tablet page template you have your menu content floating between the header and body.

It's definitely loading the mobile version. select everything on the page to check that you haven't left any objects on the right hand side of the page, or that any widgets' bounding areas haven't expanded out too far - this often happens when you move components around.

Phone Site Display with Muser and Qrafter

I have a desktop and a phone site made with Muse.
I added a QR Code to a flyer and scanned it with Qrafter, a QR Code reader on my iPhone. Qrafter gave me the option to view the site in Safari, or in Qrafter. Safari correctly loads the phone site, but Qrafter loads the desktop version instead.
Is this an error in Qrafter or Muse?

Take it to an Apple Store and see about getting an out of warranty replacement. I believe it will run you about $150.

Phone Site is not loading

My desktop version of my site is loading instead of phone version. It loaded the first time then made some design changes and re-published the site and then rebuilt, restarted the program.... and still can't get the phone site to automatically load. Just keeps showing my desktop version unless I specifically add "/phone" after my site name. My site is kathrynraymond.com.

Muse sends phone site to Nook 9" tablet

In testing a new Muse website on various devices, I noticed that it is sending the phone site to the Nook 9", and Nook 7" tablets, even though it should be sending the desktop site to tablets (I haven't created a tablet specific site), as it does, for example, to my iPad. Here is the site: http://NYCJazz.com. Does anyone know why this anomaly is happening? Is there anyway for me to control and correct this as a Muse designer?

Hey Zak, thanks for the response. I have been working with Adobe support in which they gave some workarounds, but the problem continues to happen. Support said it could be my Edge animate files, so I deleted them, recreated using Illustrator exported to either .svg or .png - problem still occurred. Maybe you have some ideas?

Once you add the domain to Business Catalyst and finish all the DNS delegation steps listed in the article for launching a site on BC, your old site will no longer load and users will go to the new BC site. Your old hosting then could be discontinued with whichever vender you used. Be aware that DNS can sometimes take 24 hours to fully propogate so you should wait to make sure that things are all loading properly. -j

Adobe Muse Phone When Preview Shrinks Shows Gray

This is Dennis I have been learing the Adobe Muse For like two Months Now every time I do a phone site and put pics or anything it shrinks and shows Gray.
Does anyone have any Ideas what this might be or can give me some advice on this thanks

I have it set up for the phone every time I try to load A picture it seams to do it shrinks it down and shows gray You can try it I have created like 7 more sites and they all do the same thing.
It shrinks to gray I am thinking maybe its to do with the rulers. There is no reason why it should going to the gray.
I keep trying to get it to stop half way through it does it again it really driving me in sain I might have to go see a therapist LOL !!!!!!!!

Phone Layout loads weird on my device

hen I load up the phone version (Samsung GalaxyS5) the site loads as if zoomed out. It adds A HUGE amount of white space to the right. I want it to load the page to show only the content I have in muse. I have attached the settings in an image.
Looking for the setting that prevents this. or is it the phone issue?

That's not a setting, that's one of your elements being pushed sideways when there is not enough room on the screen. you have to change the formatting rules of the respective elements and well, if I may say so, might generally wish to redesign your stuff. From your screenshot it seems you simply plopped everything onto the page as separate blocks without regard to nesting the underlying object hierarchy and how the objects align with one another...

I want to add video to my muse web site using a lightbox

This is where the call center directed me. I do not understand the web language please forgive my miss use of words or language. I am a novice.
So here is what has happened so far..
Adobe will not help me over the phone =( because
First time Adobe does not support templates... So I started over.
Second time Adobe does not support customization code (Not that I know how do to this either =) So I started over again.

I have a new Muse file without a template and made 100% in muse except for the Photoshop files.
I want to add video to my muse web site using a lightbox WITHOUT uploading to youtube or vimeo. I can not post videos there because I do not want YouTube or Vimeo to take away the copyright when it is my clients and or mine.
I would like to have the videos hosted or embedded on my server. The person on the phone said something about iFrames ????
I would like to do it in a way so If I have to call adobe again it will be supported.

Links in facebook redirecting to phone site

I have chared a link on facebook to promote my company site. When i clicked it on my desktop the page opened fine. When I clicked a link within the page it redirected to the phone site. I checked and double checked and the links were good.
I tried it in chrome and it worked fine. But safari seems to be choosing the phone site for every link.
Any suggestions where I should start looking? The first time I uploaded my site it was with the wrong link to the phone site. But after this is corrected safari still seems to get it wrong.

Even on Safari (6.0.5) clicking on the gif or logo at bottom, it takes me to http://www.mozesmedia.be/index.html which is the desktop version.
Have you tried clearing Safari cache or resetting your Safari or tried on Safari in a different machine?

Can anyone offer help with Tripadvisor loading incorrectly?

I frequently use Tripadvisor and I'm tired of trying to figure out what the problem is. When I load the webpage and go to read reviews of hotels, it loads these giant PNG files which are supposed to be a small rating bar for each review (it's virtually impossible to view the site because the massive PNG files crowding all the text).
It repeats the problem when I open www.tripadvisor.com in Firefox. As far as I can tell this is the only website the loads incorrectly. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Disable phone site zoom and scrolling?

I am just trying to design a phone site.
It seems to fit on my Samsung S4 in Chrome.
But I can still zoom into the mobile site version and that makes it possible to scroll horizontally to the right (o the left is not possible)
and then the positioned elemnts seem to slide and you can see the unaesthetic right endign of the page.
I have no elements outside the mobile layout. Also tryied some HTML Codes on my phone Master Page, I found on the web.
But nothig seems to help. If I cannot solve ths, a mobile site inMuse seems nothimg more than a bad joke!
Can somenone help me please?

Thanks, but I tried these codes before and none of them worked for me!
I tried both codes on my master page, but it is still possible to zoom and then scroll to the right.
And after zoomng back, my page image isn't at the same position as it was before!
So if it is not possible to solve this, then mobile phone sites in muse is nothing more than a joke! (Sorry!)

Je me suis lancée en créa de site avec Adobe Muse CC et... j'ai un petit problème !
Je souhaite en fait que le contenu de mon site d'adapte à la page du navigateur du visiteur, sans bandes verticales à gauche et à droite du contenu.
J'aimerai un rendu comme les sites que l'on peut voir dans la rubrique "Site of the day"...j'ai essayer plusieurs façons mais sans succès...

Via Muse, votre site s'adaptera au périphérique selon 3 "modes", bureau, tablette et téléphone.
Pour ce qui est des bandes sur le côté, il vous suffit de rendre le fond de page transparent et de ne pas les matérialiser.
Enfin, sur le site exemple, le menu est épinglé sur le bord gauche de la page.

Update desktop site, don't make phone site live

Q. I've built a desktop site and published it.
It needs regular updates.
Now making a phone site now, but don't want any of it live util its finished.
How do I update stuff info on the desktop site while not publishing any work in progress
for the phone design?

Thanks for those thoughts.
I think method 1) will work for me, although It will be a pain to adjust
all the individual pages
of the mobile site.
However, if I make a coming soon master and apply it to the mobile coming
soon page,, I can remove the menuing and then it doesn't matter if the rest
of the mobile pages are published as they will be orphans with no links to
them.
Method 2) I don't think works because there is no way I know of to
recombine the two separate
muse sites together. Thus any updates to the muse file with only the
desktop version would have to have
those edits and changes made to both files. Is this the case?
So, I feel there is a case for adding a publishing schema in muse which can
cover this scenario.
At the simplest, a check box for desktop, pad, phone which determines what
is published.
( including the approp. media queries )
What do you think?
