Muse site not visible on some browsers

I have created a MUSE website for one pf my clients and they tell me it is not visible on some browsers but did not specify on which it did not show.
Any suggestions?

I have asked but had no response yet. My research tells me that the probable issue is with IE9 and older that aren't compatible with HTML5 or CSS3. Is that right? if so it is a Microsoft issue and people using old incompatible browsers.
What do you think? The site works just fine on Firefox, Safari and Chrome.

IWeb hypertext links to pages from my site not "viewable" in some browsers

I am new to iWeb 08. iWeb created hypertext links to eleven pages from my "top level" site are not "clickable" or viewable in some browsers yet the hyperlinks I added on top page to other sites don't present a problem.
No problem with Safari or AOL Desktop Version 1.2 or Firefox browsers. However, AOL Ver 10.3.7 (rev 4136.310) only shows other site links and NOT the page links at the top of site page. Only a dot is visible where links to other pages in the site. I thought it could have been a Java Scripts problem so I updated my AOL to latest JAVA. Not concerned for my part but others with Mac AOL may have same problem.
Is there something I could do diferent at my site or is this another AOL shortcoming?

No solution yet. I am sure it is a shortcoming of AOL's Mac browser but am trying to contact AOL support (difficult now that they are free). I don't use their browser but there are probably those that do. I presume you don't have that problem when you use Safari, etc?

Services for object box not visible for some users

Dear All,
PM module experts please help. In equipment master transaction IE02 in left hand top corner we get box for SERVICES FOR OBJECT which is useful for attaching external documents like word and excel. but problem is it is not visible for some users. Our security/authorisation team has also done some check but didn't get any solution.
anybody knows the reason why there is no box availabe?

Due to an error in the coding, it was possible to link a Word document to a Document in IE01. Because the data cannot be saved in transaction IE01, the linked document is lost after leaving the transaction.

Site not visible on Android

I am building a site in Muse for Desktop, Tablet and Phone.
The site is visible and working normally on the Desktop and iPhone...but not on Android.

Why is my muse site not displaying all elements in firefox and IE

Navigation & Photo Page not displaying within some browsers

I am using iWeb '08 and am having great difficulties trying to get my site cross browser compatible. The site is working perfectly on the Mac in Firefox 2 & Safari but not Firefox 3. It is also not displaying correctly in Firefox 2.0.0.13 and IE7 on my WinXP machine. Unfortunately the error is not just a cosmetic issue. The Main Navigation is not displaying on any page and only shows a bullet point where it is meant to be. The other error occurs in the Photo Template and the photos are not displaying. I am using a "Version 1 template" and did a test with a "version 2" template that provided the same errors.
Has anyone else had these problems???

You have applied a height of "auto"to your menubar container, which gives it no height at all in some browsers. If you have a clue what height you would like to display for your menubar, give it, instead of:

Better yet, leave it in the CSS file, where you will find it when you go looking for it. You already assign a height there:

Muse site not displaying correctly when 'Published' to BC

Hi all
Strange incidents happening with a Muse site I'm designing for a client. When I use the Publish feature (which uploads the site to the default Business Catalyst domain you get with the Muse subscription) it throws the elements all over the place, so buttons, type, imaegry and widgets aren't wheere they should be.
I've cleared the cache, restarted the browser, tried in other browsers and still the same result, so pretty unhappy.
When I 'Preview' the site in a browser everything seems perfect.
Bizarre thing is when designing my first ste the opposite was the case; lots of visual problems when using 'Preview' but perfect when 'Published' to BC.
Anyone got any ideas as to why this is happening?

Thanks for the reply, think we have the solution. Apparantly Muse is not uploading the updated CSS files. I created a test domain on my own website to use for this project and uploaded via Fetch and everything worked fine.
So it looks like it's an issue with Muse

Site not visible in IE8

This is the 4th site I've done in DW and for some reason it's not visible in IE8. Looks fine in FireFox.

and still nothing. What am I doing wrong?

According to the validator, you have a few problems, the main one being the encoding.

Change the encoding back to <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
then put the page through the validator again and see what errors come up, fix those and then see if the problem is resolved in IE.

Documents from UCM not opening in some browsers

When the method is called the pdf document opens in Chrome browser in some machines but not in Firefox or other browsers. Background nav image not displaying in some browsers...

   I'm in the process of building a website template - still ironing out some bugs, but just discovered that the bacground image in my navigation bar isn't displaying on some browsers (including some versions of IE). Web-redirect to external radius not wokring on some browsers for Guest SSID

Hi,
We are using Cisco 5760 with 3.7, and the guest SSID doesn't perform web-redirect to external radius (cisco NAC appliance), for some browsers. Although the same works on Cisco 5508 and 4402 WLC with the same NAC appliance for all browsers.
working browsers: IE9.0 and IE 11.0
Non-working: Chrome all versions, Firefox all versions, Safari all versions.
Can anyone provide some help if they have seen this issue before.?

You need to check the compatibility guide of Cisco WLC and check if those browsers are supported or not.

Muse site not publishing - stops at 10% with no error code

Muse site used to work perfectly now will not publish since I upgraded 2013.3
When you click publish, it says optimizing, but stops at 10%. No error code pops up - it just stays at 10% and will not publish. Please Help!!!

Muse site not publishing after 2014.3 update

My muse site will no longer publish after the new update. When you click publish, it starts to publish, but never gets past 0% while optimizing the assets.:

Do you have 1 or more files listed in your Assets panel with file names that are 3 letters and have no file extension? If so, please try renaming (anything other than 3 letters with no extension) and relinking those files. Then retry export/upload/publish.

Problems with some Muse sites not fitting iPads/tablets properly.

I have just altered two of my Muse websites to have a 100% browser width slideshow, using the latest version of Muse.
When viewing on a desktop it looks fine but on an iPad and other tablets, there now seems to be a gap down the right hand side of the whole website as I scroll down.
I've checked the design and the width's of all backgrounds and other items are the same, with nothing overlapping that may cause this, so I can only presume it's an issue with the new 100% width slideshow?

As I say on a desktop - no problems but it's when I view the site on a iPad and other tablets.
Before the new version it worked absolutely fine and there was no need to build the site separately for tablet use.

It’s hard to say… after 10 minutes my firefox browser, laptop is still trying to load the page but the right hand issue may be your ipone trying to render the scroll bar.
Off topic; open some of the images in a good editor like photoshop and cut them back to something less annoying in size… at least the ones on the front page.
