Muse Update cant be found in app manager

I just installed Muse on my Macbook pro 5.1 - everytime i open the program it asks me to update, but than the application manager displays no update. What can I do?

Happens once in awhile on my Mac as well.
CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

Du redest hier gerade über'n Suchbild mit 'nem rosa Flamingo, der sich im Barbie-Puppenhäuschen im natürlich rosa gestrichenen Kinderzimmer versteckt... Find da mal 'nen Fehler!

  • CC app manager update  failed with error code 50 after reaching about 35%

    Trying to update the CC app manager. The update is always very slow  (I have ATT DSL, lowest level) and I usually terminate it after an hour or so. Today I let it run and it failed with error code 50 after reaching about 35%. Any ideas?

    Update to my original post. I read through some of the suggestions that I found in other threads for fixing this problem, and it appears that this has been an ongoing issue. Numerous fixes have been suggested, some very convoluted, difficult, and involved, including those that came from the customer support folks.  I passed on those as this should be something simple. How Adobe manages to let updating of their own software turn into an ongoing problem is beyond me and sort of defeats the purpose of subscribing. I then noticed that a simple fix had been suggested a few times, so I tried that.
    The user suggested fix that worked for me was:
    1) Restarted computer (Asus Windows 7 i3 machine for me) in Safe Mode with Networking. Logged into my separate Admin account just in case.
    2) Started the creative cloud desktop app.
    3) The app said it needed to be updated. I hit the update button.
    4) Update started and proceeded slowly as it had in many previous failed attempts (I have ATT DSL at the slowest level, but it is not dial-up). Within about 30 min, the update succeeded.
    5) Restarted computer in normal mode.
    6) The creative cloud desktop app now did not say it needs to be updated, and I can update my other apps normally. Have not updated LR or PS yet, but plan to try. If that fails, I may try doing it in the Safe Mode with Networking.
    So, that was relatively painless and much much simpler than many of the other suggestions I saw. Do not know if it will work for everyone, but I wanted to post the fix that worked for me. Thank you very much to the 2 or 3 users who had suggested this fix earlier (sorry, I did not write down your IDs, but the threads can be found by searching for creative cloud desktop update fail error code 50). Hope this saves some people a lot of time.

    tldr:  App's installed trough the app store cant be found, not in finder (or alfred / terminal), not in applications folder, they are however integrated in the launchpad?!

    I did a clean install on my MacBook after having sold my iMac so i wouldn't have to bother with old or duplicate file's and so i would have just one working station with a fresh clean install. it's a late 2013 model 15" pro, on the latest Yosemite.
    Having re-installed my favourite apps and hand selected files / images / music / gems / etc. i noticed that my favourite way of launching apps didn't worked any more!  Launching apps trough cmd-space action was always my to go short cut, it saved me a lot off time not having to leave the keyboard.
    cmd+space "search phrase" == no result?
    All apps like Pages, Numbers, Pocket, Keynote, etc. is installed with App store.
    Using cmd+space i can launch and find Numbers and Keynote
    Using cmd+space i can not find or launch Pocket or Pages.
    With launchpad i can find (all) Pages / Numbers
    Witch Applications folder i can find Numbers and Keynote, but not Pages or Pocket, although they are installed in the same time with Numbers and Keynote.
    What i tried:
    - checked the finder setting, application folder, trash bin.
    - I removed and reinstalled all app's bought with the app store                               x no-solution
    - signed oud, deleted the apps, restarted, signed back in, downloaded again        x no-solution
    - rebuilding the finder spotlight-v100 with mdutil                                                      x no-solution
    - find Pages.app with grep / find / locate   (in terminal)                                            x no-result ( while it still launches.. )
    i'm kinda stuck here now after googling and searching for to long of a period.
    What could possibly be wrong here?

    This is because OS X can read those partitions as if it was an extension of it's own data storage.  I had Snow Leopard and Mavericks on my system at the same time (separate physical drives) and whenever I used App Store to update Mavericks, it always tried to update the Snow Leopard apps as well.  It can get quite messy if you don't watch what you are doing.  Bootcamp at least is ignored by the OS so I don't have to worry about it searching for files et al on that drive.

    If you can... you need to Upgrade your OS X to 10.6.8
    It is Not available as a download... It is a Paid Upgrade.
    Do this first...

    After the Successful Install, run Software Update to get the latest updates for Snow Leopard and iTunes.

    I had this same problem.  Even though I updated and even changed CC's in my iTunes account and there was no balance on my account....THERE WAS A BALANCE on my daughter's account that through the family network was tied to mine as the family manager.  Even though all the accounts are paid by my card, I can't see or clear balances on other family members.
    My daughter had to go into her account and enter (or have me enter) the 3 digit security code from the current (updated) cc to clear her balance and cease this darned error.
    Now we can updated, download, and so on.  What a pain.
    In short if you are getting this error, especially if you CC information recently changed (expiration, number, sec code)... make sure none of your connected family members made any purchases between the time the CC info changed and you updated the iTunes account.  If they did...THEY MUST CLEAR THEIR BALANCE to clear the error message.

  • Updated CC today .. now the app manager is indicating only ten apps are now installed.

    I updated all apps today as per normal via the CC App Manager. All apps successfully updated, until Photoshop, which failed to update. I tried more than several times to update but it kept failing.
    I then decided to close the CC Manager and restart. When I accessed the Manager again and went to View Updates & Requests, the list indicated only ten apps were installed, and the rest had to be installed (AGAIN).  I  checked my Applications Folder and all the CC apps were still installed and working.
    I haven't received any error messages. However when I returned to the website the apps were indicating for me to download trial versions. My CC account is current and paid up til March 2016. Now I have just  accessed my Adobe ID account and checked under Plans & Products section, but it is indicating I have no No Registered Products.
    So currently my Adobe Creative Cloud Manager is indicating I have ten apps up to date (Lightroom 5, Acrobat XI Pro, Edge Animate CC, Edge Code CC, Edge Inspect CC, Edge Reflow CC, Extendscript Toolkit CC, Flash Builder Premium, Gaming SDK 1.4, Scout CC) but all other key applications have the install icon by their side (Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC ...etc).
    I started on Photoshop 4 many years ago and have never had any issue with any of the Creative Suite's. I also had issue with my Adobe ID not being accepted, even when copy/pasting from my Keychain Access. I had to reset my password (used the same password anyway).
    My confidence in Creative Cloud is now somewhat diminished and I am considering canceling my CC subscription and returning to CS5 - because it works!
    EDIT: Since starting to write this the Adobe ID/ Community site has logged my account out unexpectedly. Not good.

    I decided to uninstall Adobe Desktop Manager and reinstall, and seems to have remedied all of the CC apps issue...
    However still getting randomly logged out of my account and my password is not being accepted...
    Only way I got access again was to open three instances of the log in page and try again - third window opened, other two declared my password was wrong >_<
    This new online / cloud system is terrible. Might just reinstall CS5 anyway and be done with this crap. Meh!

  • Creative Cloud Desktop App Manager never self update correctly

    I have no idea what is wrong with the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App Manager. I downloaded and installed it ever since I subscribed to Creative Cloud. EVERY TIME when there is an update to the Creative Cloud Desktop App Manager, it will prompt me to update which I did. However, EVERY TIME the update would fail and I would either have a broken CC Desktop App Manager or, started recently, it would prompt me to update again.
    The only solution I could find was manually uninstall CC Desktop App Manager and then reinstall it.
    Perhaps the CC Desktop App Manager is not needed?

    What exactly means "refuses"?
    This is the message which comes up if I try to update (from the Help menu) or re-install my licenced copies of CS6 or Photoshop Elements 9.
    “We've encountered the following issues

    on trying to open PhotoshopCS6 I get this message:-

    When I follow these instructions and try and start up/install or update Photoshop CS6 I get the same messages all over again. This has been going on since Tuesday afternoon and I am anxiuous to resolve the problem. For several years now all this has worked perfectly through your website and I cannot understand what has changed.  Once I cancel these messages the products themselves seem to function OK. When I attempt to use Adobe Update Manager I get the same messages as above. You will see that my products are properly licensed and up to date. Have you any solution?

    You can try just updating from Purchases first.

    I have the full latest version of Muse installed on my computer, but the adome app manager still has an install button next to that particular app. Should I install Muse again from within this app?have the full version of Muse not the Beta already installed. I don't want to lose any sites I am working on.

    All the sites/projects that you work on are saved as .muse files. Just keep them safe and you will be able to open them again after a fresh install.
    Did you install your Muse 1.0 using the Adobe Application Manager while logged into AAM with your Adobe ID?

    I wrote up my issue and then it never posted since it sent me to a different page. 
    The short version:  cc app manager says there is an update for Photoshop.  I try to download and 56% of the way through the process it aborts and the sequence since get to ‘contact customer service’.  And yes, I’ve tried reloading 4 times with the same result (the definition of insanity, or insanity-making in this instance).  And here I am now.

    Adobe application manager cannot be convinced to survive more than two seconds on my computer. I am running Cs6 Design and Web Premium. All programs but app manager are running as they should.

    No help from Microsoft - who would expect that?

    Solved by downloading the trial. but not from within the cs-cloud because the app manager again appears and crashes. instead I got the trial from the adobe.com muse product site. There zou can download without app manager...
