I have just had a large set of updates to my CC Apps, why have InDesign CC, Illustrator CC, Photoshop CC, Dreamweaver CC and Muse CC NOT been updated but a new version has been installed (2014)?
http://blogs.adobe.com/jkost/2014/06/installing-the-2014-release-of-creative-cloud.html
-This messages says (at least some) CC 2014 programs use NEW plugins https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1499663
-so do not uninstall the older CC programs if you use plugins in your programs until you are sure you have plugins that work in CC2014
If you are sure you don't need the old CC programs

Hi, in my Creative Cloud account appears that Muse is up to date (last released version).
When I open Muse on my desktop, appears a window asking to update Muse, I press "update" and Muse does not open at all, even the previous version.
I would be appreciate any help.
Thanks,
IgnacioHi Ignacio,
Adobe Muse CC and Adobe CC 2014 are two different applications.
If the creative cloud application shows Adobe Muse CC 2014 to be up to date, you will need to locate the CC 2014 version of Muse on your machine.
Kindly check the following location, and run the application file:
Win-> C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Muse CC 2014
Mac-> Applications\Adobe Muse CC 2014

Muse Update also updated Air but not to the newest
A couple of days ago I updated Muse and at the same time (orchestrated by Muse) updated Adobe Air. According to my "About" menu in Muse I now have Air 13.0.0.83. But my Glary Utilities Software Update check at boot keeps telling me that there's an update available to Air 13.0.0.111. Muse didn't ask for this, should I just go ahead and update Air again? Do I need this? I'm no software whiz and I don't want to mess with my MUSE
Hi,
It is advisable to use the latest version of adobe air with Muse. You can download the latest Air from https://get.adobe.com/air/

Muse will not launch after update. App is not in Application folder
Muse update indicates it was installed but no were to be found. Launch App nothing happens. Nothing in Application folder. ????
Are you still having a problem with Muse launching?
-
I've tried to update to the June 2014 Muse update. I sign in at Adobe and click on download. The window says the file is downloading, but nothing happens, I've tried using Firefox and Safari. not sure what else to do.
Also, I'm not sure what the AAR window is prompting me to do. It says to pick an application, but I'm not sure what application to pick. I chose Muse (since I am updating that application), but that just sent me back to the original Muse update window to start all over again.
I am on OSX 10.9.3
Is anyone else having this problem?Me Too,
It's really grating me that there seems no response from adobe, I would have expected they produce a troubleshooting guide for common problem's regarding loading new updates, but hey ho there you go ! maybe i'm missing it -
I'm having a problem installing the Muse update. I get the error:
Exit Code: 7
Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DF024 ...
-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------
- 0 fatal error(s), 1 error(s)
----------- Payload: Adobe Muse CC 2014 2014.3.0.1176 {4FC5F06E-31E5-4C22-9449-CB41B62D1897} -----------
ERROR: DF024: Unable to preserve original file at "/Applications/Adobe Muse CC 2014/Adobe Muse CC 2014.app/Contents/Frameworks/adbeape.framework/adbeape" (Seq 10)
I've tried (from a discussion on color profiles error DF024) renaming the adbeape.framework folder. I then get a slew of error messages. Any suggestions?I did not remove the uninstaller, but it is not in the Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. There is an uninstaller alias in the Muse program folder, but it points to nothing . . .
I tried removing the OPM.db file and reinstalling the Muse update. It still fails with the same error message.
Instead of uninstalling all CC, running cleaner, reinstalling all CC, and finding and reinstalling all my third-party Photoshop extensions—using most of my day, I believe I will live with Muse CC2014.2 and update reminder.
Thanks for all your help, anyway -
I'm truly afraid about my months of work, I have to start from the beginning - because any little changings which is shifted in Moevement or works differently than before.
Over all my most fear is to need to uprade my mac from 10.6.8 up to 10.7 or 10.8 But i can't i spend a lot of money for lot of music stuff i need to work with, which is not working with 10.7
i tried to find information about at adobe but somehow they makes me uncertain at all
Do you have any experiece with the new Muse update and how it's working?
unfortunately I have no time to test yourself and start all over again
Thank you for any information ;-)I assume you have working installer discs? If so here's a suggestion:
Clean Install of Snow Leopard
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
1. Boot the computer using the Snow Leopard Installer Disc. Insert the disc into the
optical drive and restart the computer. After the chime press and hold down the
"C" key. Release the key when you see a small spinning gear appear below the
dark gray Apple logo.
2. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue
button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
After DU loads select the hard drive entry from the left side list (mfgr.'s ID and drive
size.) Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window. Set the number of
partitions to one (1) from the Partitions drop down menu, set the format type to Mac
OS Extended (Journaled, if supported), then click on the Partition button.
3. When the formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed
with the OS X installation and follow the directions included with the installer.
4. When the installation has completed your computer will Restart into the Setup
Assistant. Be sure you configure your initial admin account with the exact same
username and password that you used on your old drive. After you finish Setup
Assistant will complete the installation after which you will be running a fresh
install of OS X. You can now begin the update process by opening Software
Update and installing all recommended updates to bring your installation current. -
Why my Muse update goes up to 35% and no further? How can I cancel it and try again? I'm using a PC.
Hi,
Did you check if Creative cloud Desktop application manager is not blocked by any Antivirus or firewall? -
Problem with LiveChat since last Muse update
We have Livechat installed on our site through simply inserting code into the html head via page properties. Prior to the latest Muse update, we could see the Livechat window inside Muse in both design & preview mode. Now it does not appear at all, even when exporting to html on my desktop, the Livechat window does not show up on the site. The strange thing is from my Livechat control panel, I can see myself browsing the test site...but from the browser perspective, there is no Livechat option. I tried reinserting the code, but still no go. Any ideas? I'm worried if i take the site liveI would risk Livechat disappearing on my live site, so for now I have kept it just as a test site on my desktop.
Restart your mac
Safe Boot: Hold down the shift key after the chime until the Apple logo appears and the gear is moving.
It will take awhile but you will be asked to login.
Go to your Applications folder> Utilities and launch Disk Utility.
In the left side column, highlight your drive and repair permissions.( button down below)
Empty the trash.
Restart your mac.

"Please connect to the internet-"problem solved by the latest Muse-update
Hi staff,
I'm happy to tell you that the former problem with the error message "Please connect to the internet…" when trying to start Muse is solved now by the latest update. At that time I talked to James Boag, he assumed Muse might not recognize my USB-modem (and I should try a different access point, which I didn't) but this is not an issue any more. When I launched Muse recently, it updated automatically and then started with no problems.
Thanks for the great work you've done in that matter.
Regards
NorbertHi arrakis13,
I’m afraid I cannot really help you.
I did not make any changes on my running system except that I’m on 10.8 Mountain Lion (upgraded from 10.6.8., no Lion in between), but this did not change the behavior of Muse at first. Only the update, which started automatically when I launched the app on August, 21, (still the trial version) caused the difference.
My firewall is on and in the firewall-options Muse has allowance for incoming connections, see the attached screenshot (sorry, in german, but you will understand the meaning). Airport is not active and I did not change my way to connect to the internet (as James Boag from Adobe suggested earlier, see also attached mailing). It just worked.
Meanwhile I upgraded to the official version (2.0.945) and still it works.
Hope you find a solution.
Regards
Norbert

This is still happening for me. I downloaded the beta yesterday and am on 10.7. I run software update but Muse is not showing up as having an update. My firewall is not running. Any suggestions on how I can get this running would be much appreciated.
Please let me know.
Thanks!!

Am I the only one whose Mac has been completely screwed up by the most recent Muse update? Since that fateful day when I clicked "update", I've been dealing with problems and spending waaaaay too much time online with customer support with no resolution. At first it was just that I was unable to download and install the new Muse. I finally was able dowload a new version after they had me trash my old one. It took three chat sessions with support - reinstalling AIR and Muse, over and over. I finally had to create a new user account, and use that to install the software on my hard drive. However, there's still an issue (Snow Leopard and Lion - I tried both) that now causes all Adobe software + the finder to lock up about five clicks into anything I do. Force quits don't work - only a hard restart gets it running again - for about twelve minutes. Then it's all repeated. I really need to find a resolution to this problem. Thanks for any help with this. I'm at my wits end!
With reference to your post <http://forums.adobe.com/message/5112967#5112967>, I believe you've already tried all steps listed in this thread <http://forums.adobe.com/message/5086018#5086018>.
However, if the issue persists and you're still not able to get it working, please try the suggestions posted here - http://forums.adobe.com/message/5058843#5058843 and see if that helps.
