Muse upgrade

MUSE upgrade fails to install. I'm a Creative Cloud subscriber and have successfully installed all available apps. It's not me or Mac. The problem is with the upgrade. I keep getting an erro message.

Delete the OOBE folder:
Mac OS:
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Windows XP:
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe
Windows 7:
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Adobe

Slow loading MUSE site, since latest Muse upgrade.

My hosting is 123-REG,
I export HTML and FTP upload the whole 79mb...
My old, prior to Muse upgrade, site loaded fine, everytime...
Since I upgraded Muse V5, exported HTML and uploaded the whole site... it takes several minutes to load a single page, as if it is loading the whole site before it loads the page I've clicked....
Anyone else seeing unuasably slow loads on live pages... exported as HTML on their sites?
I've tried on several devices and all slow, i've 100mb fibre and no other sites load slow.
Friends have tried on their computers.. all slow..
Several browsers tried.. same slow response..

ftgben, please send the .muse file to us so we can attempt to reproduce the slowness and track down (and fix) the root cause. Thanks.
Please send us the .muse file at [email protected] along with a link to this thread. If the file is larger than 20Mb you can use a service like Adobe SendNow, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. (If you use a service, please include your return e-mail address in the body of the message, since not all services include it in the sharing invite they send.) MUSE upgrade fails to install. I'm a Creative Cloud subscriber and have successfully installed all available apps. It's not me or my system. The problem is with the upgrade.

Same problems. Update failed and after uninstall of Muse trying to reinstall is also unsuccesful.
Two months ago I also had problems with Muse, The workaround i used then doesn't help me now.
Perhaps Adobe has version problems with Muse and Air that also had a recent (3.4) update.
Or a problem with the new flash version and Muse.
Anyway, the reason I signed up for Creative cloud i.e. Muse doesn't seem to be a good choice since Muse sucks now it's in the production.
with the Beta had I no problems at all.
Windows event viewer (Win XP) describes the problem after the failed update as well as after the failed reinstall as:
'Faulting application adobe muse.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module fontsfre.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00010b78.'

P.S. To see how the Muse uninstall problem relates (that's what it in essence is) to the other apps in Creative Cloud, I unstalled all the other Creative Cloud apps I had installed.
Uninstalling them changed the Status in AAW (adobe app mgr) from <installed> to <install> like it should be with only one exeption that is Adobe Muse.
Even manually deleting the prefetch files for Muse and all other remains of Muse I could find with Windows search on my c: drive didn't help me out.
Uninstalling Air (though needed by other apps) didn't solve the problem as well of Muse having the in this case hateful status of installed although uninstalled.

Muse Upgrade - Problems

I downloaded the recent Muse upgrade and have had nothing but problems since.
Initially it crashed or simply stuck in performance. After various back and forth communiations via the community forum I re-installed Muse completely.
Now it simply will not Export to Html at all despite the Site Preview working ok. I have tried saving the Html to new directories and this workled only once then stuck at 86% "preparing files"
The changes I made within the web site are a) A new sildeshow and b) An amendment to an accordian.
Help! What is wrong. The prev version worked fine now I have a dud. Is there any way to validate the content of my web site within muse?

Are you able to publish to a free trial Business Catalyst site? Did you try to "Save Site As" to a new .muse file and see if that makes any difference.
Are you able to export a fresh Muse site as HTML? Do you get any error message after waiting for a while at 86%?
If the problem happens even with a new Muse project with almost similar content, I would suggest clearing Muse's preferences/cache as described here - http://forums.adobe.com/message/5086018#5086018

Why won't the Muse upgrade publish correctly?

can a muse site name be changed after its gone live?

You can change the name of your site anytime - in trial, when upgraded and live - anytime before it is deleted.
For that, you can log into your Partner Portal, go to My Sites, select the site and in the Site Details page, go to System and Secure URL section to change the URL or click the [change] link to change the site name.

Installing the Muse upgrade.

Each time I open Muse I get the message that a new version is available for download. However, if I try installing I get a message that the installation file is damaged and that I need to get a new one.
Have attempted several times over the past two weeks.
Ideas?

new so I had to install from creative and then upgrade as well.

Adobe muse upgrade

If you are currently running adobe muse can still get the upgrade?

There is a new version of Muse coming out June 17. If you launch your copy of Muse after June 17, it should update to Muse CC automatically.

Muse upgrade blocked by anti-virus software

As I logged into Muse today, I was informed there was an upgrade, and did I wish to install. I said yes, but the upgrade process was halted at every attempt by my anti-virus software warning me that the downloaded file is infected with the 'HeurEngine.ZeroDayThreat' virus. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Thank you for any help.

I have not seen any reports of this problem. I assume you have run a check on what you have sent out.
Look into whether the reports are coming from all users or just those who had the RH7 output or any characteristics if only some users are reporting this.

Website shows corrupted animations in Chrome (Mac) only - fine before Muse upgrade

Site working perfectly the last 2 weeks, suddenly after the upgrade this week, I'm having issues with the embedded Edge animations for social media buttons and the primary navigation.
More strange is that this seems to only occur in Google Chrome for Mac, fine in other browsers and on PCs.

I've experienced this issue as well, with my Mac Pro (1,1) and 10.6.4. I just tried booting from 10.6.0, and my 7300gt vram shows up again (256mb instead of 0).
Are we sure it's 10.6.4, and not version 1, 2, or 3 of SL that causes the 0 vram problem?
Also: I upgraded to an Apple Radeon 5700. It works, but I'm not sure it's worth it. On the downside, it's louder than the original (Geforce 7300gt) card. Also, with the new card, when I wake the Mac Pro from sleep I get the blue screen for 5-10 seconds--it takes a lot longer to wake, which is kind of annoying. And I realize it's a much higher performing card, but I'm not sure if I'm benefiting from it. I don't play games...I do use Lightroom a lot, but I've heard it's not the graphics card that will affect performance, it's the memory and processor.
Any thoughts?

How can I reinstall a previous version of muse? I tried under Apps in Creative Cloud - previous versions- but there are no previous versions of muse showing up. What can I do? Ever since muse upgraded yesterday it crashes every time I try to publish, preview or save a site...

Muse crashes again and again and again. Not possible to work with this version!!!
Sorry, but we don't have time to try this or try that... The fact is, using version 2014.2 no problems. Suddenly it's impossible to work with.
Make a version 2014.2 available for download so that we can downgrade. I can't wait until the problems are solved, because we have to change some things very urgently.

Problems downloading muse

I have a beta version of muse, upgraded to the cloud, and tried to download the paid-for version onto my mac. It seemed to download, but upon clicking the icon (also tried from the finder window where gives today's date as the latest download), it responds as the beta version (and of course doesn't open). I had no trouble downloading and opening photoshop.

Fixed the problem by uninstalling the Beta version.

Muse bug

I really really need some help. Not sure if it has to do with the muse upgrade this morning - but my muse keeps crashing (which I have restarted along with shutting machine on and off). That is issue one but the main issue I am having is I am trying to pin an object and it doesn't show up when I preview as if it is not there. Please help... I have been able to pin artwork in other sites, and I have even tried to start from scratch. Nothing seems to work. Please help!

I apologize for the delay in my responding, but has this issue been resolved yet? If so just let me know and I will reinstall v2.0. If this is still an unresolved issues, please read on:
After I uninstalled the v2.0 and downgraded to v1.1 I'm working fine. However, I'd like to work within v2.0 so that I can work with some of its new features. And just for the record, I've never been able to run v2.0 and my crash does not display/refer to a "fontsfre.dll" error.

Search function on creative mp3 play

i think creative mus upgrade the search functions on all mp3 players,so that searching 4 chinese songs or artists won't be a chore anymore....

Accepting Merchant Account Payments w/FormsCentral

I have clients that sell professional services with 6 or fewer service offerings. Typical shopping cart solutions seem to be a hassle and more for multiple item online stores.
I did not have a good experience with FomrsCentral in the summer of 2012, finding it lacking in design freedom. Being a graphic designer and not a programmer I am able to design great sites using Adobe Muse, but Muse falls way short on application functionality widgets that are popular and in demand, one being forms regardless of the recent upgrade. I am reconsidering FormsCentral or will consider any solution this post may provide.The recent Muse upgrade now offering forms anywhere is a great addition but there is still a lot missing. I have 2 questions:
1.) I want to allow form submitters to upload a file "Attachment" how can I make this happen?
2.) I need an easy to create payment solution that I can integrate with Muse that allows me to set-up payment for services using a regular merchant gateway solution other than PayPal. Is FormsCentral payment feature only for PayPal Premier and Business accounts or can other merchant processing gateways solutions be used? If not, is there another solution that anyone can recommend?

1. Yes, FormsCentral supports File Attachements. You can simply add a file attachment field to your form bye selecting the File Attachment widget in "Add Item" pane.
2. As for payment gateway, FormsCentral supports PayPal only at the moment.

Web Fonts Missing: URGENT

URGENT: I just updated muse and now my preview doesn't show the web fonts. Looks good in design. I'm scared to death to publish as my site would be completely destroyed if it looks like the preview. When I went to see if I could update the web fonts they were all checked correctly but a message said that they previews were not available. What happens if I publish? I have to board a plane from Sydney Australia to the US shortly. Please help fast. My web site must be updated with new contact info. Thanks, Rick

I don't use Extensis Suitcase, however, after the Muse upgrade, when I was in Australia, it didn't work. Later, they did, so it all seems OK now.
