Muse web sites messed up

Is there some information that ADOBE can provide about what is going on with the websites from Muse?

First : should I be doing another post because I have really changed topics...not sure of the protocol.
Ok I tried to use this "job aid" ...but I got shot down almost immediately....the first step is to enter your url (ok) and then to decide what category it should be placed under....every category I selected didn't have a description button so I couldn't actually get it into a category. Does that matter...should I just find something to put it under and then proceed?
What I did was go to Google and I submitted my
url to google. Does that work but doesn't have any optimization? If you google Robert Delaney (and I think that is what most people who don't know the URL will do) over 2 million hits possibilities come back...and he won't be found. This is my brothers web site and i want people to find him by lots of key words like kinetic sculptures, his name, metal sculptures, mobiles....a whole raft of things...I suspect just submitting it won't help that.
I would appreciate any thoughts on what s/b my next step...

You can add Google Calender using iframe which Google provides if you go to calender settings.
Once you insert this code in Muse page through Object > Insert HTML , the calender will be displayed on page.

I want to add video to my muse web site using a lightbox

This is where the call center directed me. I do not understand the web language please forgive my miss use of words or language. I am a novice.
So here is what has happened so far..
Adobe will not help me over the phone =( because
First time Adobe does not support templates... So I started over.
Second time Adobe does not support customization code (Not that I know how do to this either =) So I started over again.
Now I'm on try 3
I have a new Muse file without a template and made 100% in muse except for the Photoshop files.
I want to add video to my muse web site using a lightbox WITHOUT uploading to youtube or vimeo. I can not post videos there because I do not want YouTube or Vimeo to take away the copyright when it is my clients and or mine.
I would like to have the videos hosted or embedded on my server. The person on the phone said something about iFrames ????
I would like to do it in a way so If I have to call adobe again it will be supported.

I would like to create a list of MP3 files to download from a MUSE web site.

I have the honour of creating web site for our church.
We would like to publish the ministers sermons on the web (audio files to download).
How do I do this in Muse, or is it not possible and should use another web site creating software to do this?
Is there an add-on which I could purchase which would help?

Hi Ossydoc,
You can use Muse to create such a website. All you need to do is, create links in Muse for the sermons and select " link to File " in the hyperlink option and link to those Mp3 files.

Now, when you publish your site, Muse would automatically upload those files onto the server and the users would then be able to listen as well as download those sermons using the links on your site.

Hey I was wondering if you know how to insert a tumbler blog into adobe muse? I have a tumbler account but would like to use it in adobe muse. how can I add it to my blog page in muse for desktop?

Goto your Tumblr account and then view it when you're logged out ... the URL link should look something like this?:
http://my-tumblr-blog.tumblr.com
Now copy & paste that URL link and insert it into this code snippet:
<iframe src="http://my-tumblr-blog.tumblr.com" onLoad="calcHeight();" scrolling="YES" frameborder="0" width="660" height="950" name="resize" id="resize"></iframe>
Now copy and paste this edited snippet into the Muse page where you want your Blog ... set the correct width and height in the code (see above) to fit your page ...
Cutomize it:
I would suggest customizing your Blog with the built-in customize HTML section to tweak the embedded Blog page ... i.e. turn off some of the Tumblr sections like Header, Description, etc, if you don't want them ...
Better still go over to this Tumblr Theme site and create a nice custom theme where you can do it all yourself ...
Then after that still use the snippet code above once you have copied & pasted the new customised Tumblr HTML into you Tumblr Blog:

The art is to streamline your Blog as much as possible so you get the most screen estate shown in Muse, because as an inserted iFrame widget you do lose a bit ...

How do I integrate a muse mobile site to an existing (non muse) web site

Is it possible to create a mobile or a tablet (or both) site in muse and integrate the code to the HEAD section of an existing (non muse) site in order to re-direct on each appropriate device?

You can put the images as asset in Muse by placing those images somewhere in your site, and they will be automatically added as an asset. You can then see them in the asset panel as well. How can I delete old web site designs from Muse CC 2014.1. (13 Aug. 2014)?

Having recently installed the latest update to Muse and been obliged to re-name my web site file I thought it only appropriate to clean up the desktop. In DW there is a message window where a site can be deleted but I do not see a similiar method in Muse.

You can look your computer for the .muse file of your site and delete it. Once you have deleted it, try to open it from Muse. You will get a pop up, which says the file/site is missing, would you like to remove it from the list. Click yes and it will be gone.

My web site is messed up, don't know how to fix.

made some minor changes to my web site the other day, today I
go to check it, and it's messed up. Comes up with that blank look.
Not sure what I did to mess it up. I mainly deleted folders no
longer needed, and made a few changes to the "darn dates" listed on
my Adobe web gallery! How can I create a gallery without dates on
the photos?
Biggest question, how do I get my site back to normal?

It appears that you deleted files the actually ARE needed...
All of the iframe windows on your home page are looking for
pages that
aren't available.
You'll need to restore them or replace them with like named
pages.

You can use Muse to design and build as many websites as you wish; just purchase the URL's and hosting as appropriate. Your subscription to Muse allows for unlimited authoring.
Now, if you're referring to support via Business Catalyst, that's a different story...

Hello Everyone. My old web site needed a redirect to a "non www version" because of duplicate content. Is the same true for Muse site?

I made a website from Muse and want to launch it.
Question1)Will there be a www version and a non www version like on my current web page built in DW?
I never launched 2 websites. It just needed a "301 redirect" because when I ran a check on my website it said my page ranking was being lowered because there are two versions of my web site on line.

301 redirect was created.
The site is hosted on Godaddy and after 1 or 2 calls I was able to make the redirect. They made it pretty easy.
However I am still not sure if its better to redirect a www. to a non www, or a non www to a www.version of your site.
As long as there is a redirect, the content is not duplicated. That is the main thing I was trying to accomplish.
