Muse will not sign in to BC

I see a similar problem but the solution given is incomplete. I have my site ready to update but my Adobe password has changed since I last updated. So, Preferences>Publish>Publish with Account, but then what? Should I select switch accounts? I don't think I have more than one account, and I don't want to do something irreversible. When I do select switch accounts, I get a dialog box asking for a user name and password. Is this my Adobe info or my BC info? Thanks.

OK, since I have no answers I'm going to assume this was a stupid question, and will thrash around a bit to see what can be done. I'll report back later.

Deatails for number 1:
Firefox will not sign me in and remember my passwords at all. It first started on this site, New Jersey Online (NJ.com). I created an account there and Firefox will not log me in. That happened, January 3rd, 2012.
About NJ.com problem
I created an account there. Then I signed into my new account. I did get correct username and password. But the browser does not log me into the acount. I looked all around NJ.com for answer and my problem was not in the forums/blogs.
On Jan 4, 2012 - On the City Data forum I logged into my account there.

Firefox asked me if I want to remember this passwod, i said Yes. The box in city data forum has a remember be box I checked it.
The result means- I did not get signed in at all.
I tried multiple times, none worked.
I allowed firefox to do these things -
1. Remember browsing history for at lease one day
2. Remember download histroy.
3. Accept cookies from sites, including third party cookies, until their expiration
4. Clear the folowing when firefox closes: browsing history, download history, and form/search history.
I feel afraid this problem is gonna hsppen forever (and maybe even on this site!), and it will not sign me in to any site on the internet.
Number 2 Question
Any way to disable the loading animation in Firefox 3.6.15? it makes me forget what I was going to do. it's also shown in the addon update information. PLease help me disable the loading animation Everywhere in the Firefox browser.
For other sites with loading animations, I can use the Adblock plus element hiding helper . Just need to remove the animations by firefox
Please help me ASAP (as soon as possible), thank you!

What do you mean with the ''loading animation''?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Try changing the password:
Forgot Your Account Password
For Snow Leopard and earlier
     Mac OS X 10.6- If you forget your administrator password
For Lion/Mountain Lion
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
     When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
     Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow
     instructions in the dialog window that will appear.
     Or see Reset a Mac OS X 10.7 Lion Password and
     OS X Lion- Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
If you are unable to boot from an installer DVD:
(these will only work on Leopard or earlier)
1. Boot to Safe Mode by restarting and after the chime press and hold down
      the COMMAND-S keys until a black screen with white type appears.
2. At the prompt, type the following commands pressing return after each
      command line:
     /sbin/fsck -yf
     If you do not receive a "Filesystem OK" message then repeat this command
     until you do. If after seven tries you still do not receive a "Filesystem OK"
     message, then the system is corrupted and needs to be reinstalled.
     mount -uw /
     cd /private/var/db/netinfo
     mv local.nidb local.old
     rm ../.AppleSetupDone
     shutdown -r now
The second-to-last command above will cause OS X to think that the operating system is newly installed, and when the new owner starts up the computer it will send him/her to the startup wizard where he/she can start a new user without reinstalling.
This last method does not actually change a password. It simply removes the user accounts and lets you create an initial admin account as if the computer were new out of the box.
Reset Admin Password Using The Terminal
You can reset the password by printing out (or writing down) and carefully following these steps.
First, find the short name of the admin user on the machine. The easiest way of doing this is by looking at what the directory is called in the Users folder.
Now, start in Single-user Mode. It should boot into a command line.
Enter these exact lines. Press RETURN after each.
mount -uw /
ifconfig lo0 up
cd /var/db/netinfo
netinfod -s local
Now you'll need that short name. Enter "passwd", a space, and the short name of the admin. For example, if the admin was rather prosaically called "imadmin", you would enter "passwd imadmin".
The computer will now prompt you to change the password for "lmadmin" (or whatever the short name was). Go ahead and enter a new password.
Now, enter:
sync
reboot
and the machine will reboot. The admin password should now be changed.
Another Terminal Method for Snow Leopard
Reboot the computer and hold the COMMAND and S keys down to enter single user mode. (If a lock appears and a password request, there is a firmware password. You have to know it or take it to Apple.)
When the prompt appears type the following command lines pressing RETURN after each:
    fsck -fy
     If you do not receive a "Filesystem OK" message then repeat this command
     until you do. If after seven tries you still do not receive a "Filesystem OK"
     message, then the system is corrupted and needs to be reinstalled.
     mount -uw /
     ls /Users
     passwd username
Enter the new password twice. It will not be echoed.

PS elements 12 will not sign in. I fill in the sign in page and it says verifying password but then it disappears and nothing happens. I cannot use PS12 elements.

Muse will not preview with edge animate

Once I have published my Edge content I place it in Muse and then try to preview it using the preview button. It will not work. I preview my work using the Edge Animate previewer and it plays just fine. I play the HTML file in Firefox and it works. I have scanned the web for two days without any luck to a solution. Please navigate to this location and rename OOBE folder to OOBE.old
Windows:

Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Once done please try again login to CC Desktop apps and let us know whether it fixes your issue.

I have been using WPA on my devices as well. I have two iPhone 4S with iOS 6.0.1 and an iPhone 4 as well. Have you tried checking the channel you are using on the router? If it is on auto, change to a specific channel, maybe like 11? See if that will help. Make sure if you make any changes to the phone that you reboot the phone before testing it again.

Adobe cc will not sign in, even through i am in both the web portal and desktop app.

i have three machine, a work station at the office and home as well as a laptop that is for going on locations. the problem is cc is working perfect on both workstations but just recently it will not activate on my laptop. i've tried just about everything. it gives me "sign in failed please make sure you are connected to the internet or change your time settings". I'm defiantly connected to the internet, i can browse my cc files online, download and install apps and even talk to adobe chat about this issue, everything but use the actual applications ie:photoshop, lightroom and aftereffects. i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, logging out of cc on all machines, deleting my OOBE folder, my opm.db as well as checking certificates. nothing has worked. i can't sign in because it says my id is in use, and i cant deactivate because it times ou@@t on every atempt. please help point me in the correct directions as this has been very frustrating.

thanks john, did not know they could remote in, they were able to jump on and find the issue, all through i had wish they just went straight to looking at my system instead of having me jump through the same hoops i had already gone through. adobe gave me a case number, but i guess the number does not keep a record of the steps i've already taken to try and solve my issue, that said it doesn't matter my laptop is working and in time for my next job. re-leaves alot of stress.

Muse will not open program ERROR

The program will not even open. When Muse gets about 90% loaded to open, it post an error, "String 'Home' does not appear to be correct format to translate. String should be of form 'module::keystring'"

What happens if you Copy your file over from the networked drive to a local HDD?
What happens if you Rt-click on the PS icon and choose Run as Administrator?
Is your networked computer also using a networked printer as the default? If so, just choose the MS Generic Printer as the default, and test. This will not cut your ability to print, and all you have to do is point to the networked printer.
