Music Alphabet Scroll Bar gone on iPad2

I have an iPad2 and I usually have the alphabet scroll bar at the right hand screen of the iPad and I was playing a music then I deleted that music while it was playing and the alphabet scroll bar is now gone! please help me on how to bring it back

With the iOS 7 update the alphabet scroll bar in the Music app disappeared. Is there anybody came across this problem or know how to get it back?

When syncing iPhone with my Mac via USB, it stuck on preparing to update when I started copying music, so I ejected it and plugged it in again. All the music was gone by then (sync manually is on). This time copying music worked.
Since then in the Music app's artists tab there is no alphabet scroll bar on the right; the separator letters are also gone.
Anybody experienced this? Is there a way to bring back the scroll bar?

So just use the Albums or Artists option to find the album or artist, and select your desired song from that. It's a lot faster than scrolling through a list of hundreds of songs or even using the scroll bar.
I've got about 500+ songs on my device, and I never use 'Songs' option. It's not even on my bottom quick icons in the Music app anymore.
Playlists Artists Albums Genres More is what I have on my bottom quick icons now.
With only 49 songs, you don't really need a scroll bar.

I'd like an alphabet scroll-bar for my folders in Mail. Will this be added anytime soon?

I've been using Mail for years and find it convenient for use across all devices, off-and online. I really like that I can place a rule so that each email will automatically be delivered into individual folders. This makes it easy to organize my emails for search purposes, and to keep a clean and relevant Inbox. Sometimes, depending on my internet connection....it can sometimes cease at home and my desktop will be in sleep mode, and my emails won't be automatically ruled into their appropriate folders. This is ok, because I just manually file them. However, I have many folders. It would be an added bonus if there is an alphabet scroll-bar in the folders source list to the left of the Mail app. screen.
It appears that so much time and energy has gone into renovating the Mail application throughout the years, and the clean design and ease of use is noticeable and appreciated. I feel they would be complemented by the scroll-bar.
I'm just wondering if Apple has this in mind for any new updates to Mail?

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

No alphabet scroll bar

while in my phone book, there is supposed to be an alphabetical scroll bar to the right...i don't seem to have one. there is a scroll bar, but it is just that...a scroll bar.
my contacts are stored aphabetically, but they are not grouped under letter catagories.
any ideas out there?

Check your contacts to see if you are in a group. It's the little button at the top left. I think the scrollbar will only appear when there are a certain number of contacts. In the All category you should be seeing the scrollbar if you have more then a dozen or so.

Music alphabet scroll not working

The alphabet scroll in my music app only works for the letter A and W-Z, what's wrong with it.
The scroll in my contacts functions perfectly.
I have a 6 plus with fully updated software (8.1.1)

I had the same problem, turned out to be an errant iTunes download track by Rick Astley. I had changed the all the track info (Artist, album etc) to "Astley" but for some reason music placed a "P" in to the "A"s where Astley appeared in the listings. Net result if I tapped on Q or later I got the correct result but from B to P took me straight back to A. See if you've got an errant V or W showing before a track early in your lists, the following track/entry etc may be the culprit. Simply deleting the track in iTunes didn't work initially because the track still appeared as a Cloud download with the same problem so I went to the "purchased" section in iTunes store and deleted it from there whereupon I now have correct alphabet scrolling. Hope that all makes sense?
Incidentally the track was playing up in iTunes on the Mac. Although I set the Artist as Astley it positioned it in the "M"s under artist!

I just disappears on most web sites right after I make any mouse move. I am running Windows 7. This has been happening for about a month now. Thanks in advance.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.

Vertical scroll bar disappeared

Vertical scroll bar gone--most annoying when trying to use my google calendar. I read the help responses and couldn't figure out what to do.

Yep. For all us spreadsheet geeks, this is a real sinker. Anyway, here's my workaround. Not free, unfortunately. I have a macro program called QuicKeys installed on my Mac that I've used for countless years, and which I highly recommend for other reasons. Anyway, one of QuicKeys' many features is simulating a scroll wheel using the keyboard. I have it simulating a cell-by-cell scroll using cmd-arrow keys. The only drawback is that I have to release the cmd key each time I want to move another cell.

Started downloading CD's to iPod classic. Plenty of spacr left, but Ipod stopped syncing with my music/play list. Sync notification appears for only a few seconds then stops. Sync scroll bar on music/play list never scrolls. Any suggestions?

Which version of iTunes and which iPod Classic model are you using?
Have you tried to Reset the iPod and download again?

Have transferred from old computer to macbook air and have lost ability to scroll with mouse has gone to scroll bar. Can I fix this

Have transferred data from my old computer to new MacBook Air. New computer now uses scroll bar like older version. Can I return the MacBook Air to scrolling with mouse pad.

Open Mouse or Trackpad preferences in System Preferences and be sure the scroll setting is correct.

Scroll Bar arrows Gone?

The verical scoll bar arrows are no longer there on OS X 10.7.
Any way in System prefs or Safari prefs to get them back?

Installed Lion today. Started testing out applications and I miss and still need the scroll bar arrows.
I use several applications where the arrows on the scroll bar allow small movement as one line, especially important when copying several different sections of several paragraphs in Word, picking and choosing file movement in Spring Cleaning, or seeing just how far your object is off the printable field in Visio.
I do love the touch functions of my iPhone but this will just not work on a desktop workstation.
Does someone know if Apple will look at these comments with some interest in keeping those of us that have used Apple hardware since the Apple II happy?
Well for now, I'm just moving back to Snow Leopard. So much for progress.

Scroll Bar Thumbnails gone

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 Extended.
In Pro 8 I was able to view each page as a thumbnail as I scrolled using the scroll bar button. The thumbnail would appear immediately beside the scroll button on the right of the screen.
I can't seem to get Acrobat Pro 9 to do this.
Is there a setting that has to be set to get this to work?

I think the scroll bars should have a more contrasting colour. Also be wider. It is to easy to slip pointer off the scroll bar when using.
