Music, an Apple proprietary app, closes immediately after I open it. I can not access to my ICloud library.
I tried all day to enter into the app. I canceled the ITunes Match option in the dispositive and then it works but I don`t have all my music, but once I choose the option again, the app fails and closes automatically.
I appreciate your advise.

Why do apps close immediately after opening?
I updated to iOS 4.3.3 on my iPad, now my apps close immediately after I open them.
Built-in apps are OK, but all my added apps no longer run!
Help!
I have rebooted using the sleep button held down for 10 seconds. No joy.
Now, I was advised to hold down sleep button and home circle button at same time and disregard the red bar... this reboots to Apple circle, but still apps close really fast after I try to open them.
This actually started several hours after my update, not right away, but that is all that changed.
Very frustrating!Jeanne ... You answered my post in a totally different thread but I did read it. If the problem is in the OS, why do the built in Apple apps not cause the iPad to crash? That reasoning makes no sense to me. Did you try closing all of the apps like I suggested and then restart?
Another way to approach this is to remove all of the apps from your iPad. Do this by removing them when you sync. Simply uncheck all of the non Apple apps and sync. Then - one or two apps at a time- add them back on to the iPad by resyncing. Use those one or two apps and see if they crash. If they don't crash, add one or two more apps and try those. Keep repeating the process until the iPad starts to crash again. You should be able to narrow down which app is causing the problem.
Are you sure that all of these apps are compatible with 4.3.3. as well? Check in the app store and make sure that they are.

Apple Remote app closes immediately upon launch
Apple Remote app launches on my ipad and then immediately closes. This has just started happening. I've not updated any OS. I've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling. No love. Any suggestions? Currently running OS 7.0.6 on Ipad. Thanks
I would uninstall the app, run "erase all settings" from the settings>general>reset menu, then run "reset all network settings" from the same place, and then reinstall the app after the reboot. You won't loose any of your files, but your device will reset to default volume levels, forget wifi networks, and all switches and settings menus in the settings app will be back at defaults.

Why do apps close immediately after opening in my iMac?
I work with imac. I have a problem when I open software standard like appstore or preview, these apps open and close immediately.help???
You probably ran a defective third-party "utility" such as "CleanMyMac" or "MacCleanse" that purports to "clean up" "junk" files. What it really does is to corrupt the operating system and many applications.
The first thing you need to do is remove that software according to the developer's instructions. Never install it, or anything like it, again. Then see below.
If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data, then reinstall the OS.* You don't need to erase the startup volume, and you won't need the backup unless something goes wrong. If the system was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you may need the Apple ID and password you used.
If you use FileVault 2, then before running the Installer you must launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the FileVault startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name.) It will be nested below another icon with the same name. Click the Unlock button in the toolbar and enter your login password when prompted. Then quit Disk Utility to be returned to the main screen.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
If you installed the Java runtime distributed by Apple and still need it, you'll have to reinstall it. The same goes for Xcode.
*The linked support article refers to OS X 10.9 ("Mavericks"), but the procedure is the same for OS X 10.7 ("Lion") and later. -
Apps close immediately after opening?
yesterday i upgraded my iphone 3gs to iOS4, all was fine i thought until i wanted to watch the french get knocked out the world cup using the itv world cup 2010 app (england only?)
i open the app, it then closes immediately! so i turn off phone, turned it back on then opened the app again, it attempts to open, then it closes after a couple of seconds
so i delete the app from the iphone, and also my itunes library. then i re-downloaded it.
synced my iphone and then checked the app again and it still WON'T open!
so i tried my other apps and the only other one i can see that also closes upon opening is the BatteryDoctor Pro app which i paid for!
is anyone else having this problem?which app mate? or both of them?
only a bit miffed at the battery doctor app because i paid for that lol -
Every CC app closes immediately after opening
Hey there
I've seen this question asked over and over again with a different answer most times. When I launch any CC app (i.e. DW & Photoshop), they'd close right after they finish loading. Only notable exception is Lightroom... but of course, that's not lightroom I need right now.
- I cleared my previous CS6 install, even removed flash player. Ran Ccleaner twice including multiple rebbots. All fresh from any Adobe stuff.
- I do not have GROWL installed on my system.
- I did sign in/out/in the creative cloud app.
- I did try different install location.
- I tried ALL CAPS and no caps for my login.
I got my 1 year subscription paid upfront; this is friday night & I'm VERY upset as I do have work to do !
Can someone please help ?
GregHey there sorry to hear you're facing the same pb.
Let me save you hours with the support queues. You won't fix this. Simple.
The only thing that worked was to reimage my system. On a fresh install it worked right away. It's painful but really so much quicker than the time i spent trying to rootcause with the support folks on the phone.
Once it's behind you, things are good. -
IPhone apps close immediately after opening
I have tried :
- iPhone reboot (several times)
- install a new app through iTunes (several times)
- deauthorize and reauthorize the computer (several times)
- uninstall all apps and reinstall
- reset all iPhone settings
- iPhone restore
- scour all discussion threads for solutions
to no avail. This all started after weeks of needing to reauthorize the computer every sync, then halfway syncing when I was away from an internet connection. I stopped it in attempt to not lose all of the apps, and it didn't delete the apps, but then they would close just after launch. Any more ideas? Thanks.I used to have the same problem. the iPhone was acting weird so I tried to reboot it but it didn't work so I forced-rebooted it (holding Power and Home simultaneously) and since then all the apps that didn't came with iPhone fail to launch (you see the first screen for half a sec then you're back to the home screen).
It disappeared when I synced it with iTunes.

Illustrator CC 2014 closes immediately after it opens (Windows 8.1)
Not only the Illustrator CC 2014 but other CC 2014 Apps as well closes after it opens.
It doesn't show any error message or something like that. It's more like if I have clicked at the "close window".
The Illustrator load itself, opens and before I can do something it immediately closes.
I saw an error in the forum with some Wacom tablets but I've tested it with a single mouse and the error persists.
I've just installed the CC 2014 update and now I can't run any Adobe App.
I'm using Windows 8.1, but didn't find any topic about error occurring that way.
Please help me.
Thanks
Felippe SilveiraHi Felippe,
If it is Illustrator CC 2014.1(18.1.0) and you are using Extensis Suitecase Fusion then please try following solution given in the article.
http://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/illustrator-cc-20141-crash-launch.html
Here is the Extensions Suitcase 5 update which I believe will solve the issue.
http://www.extensis.com/support/product-support/suitcase-fusion-5/
Hope this helps.
Please let me know if this is not the case.

Web apps close right after they open
I did the upgrade this morning and now when I open any of the apps the I down loaded from the app store they close right after they launch. I've tried several apps and they all close but the original app work fine. I turned the phone off and also did the reboot by holding the off and home button until the apple came back.
Message was edited by: Stretch923I was under the impression that any apps that you currently had on your iPad would work with the new updated iOS. However, I can't remember why I even think that but I probably read here on this site.
In any event, I believe the overwhelming majority of your apps should still work even if some will not under the new iOS. What I'm saying is that there may be something else going on that will require something additional on your part - perhaps restoring your device to factory settings and then restore to your backup.
iBooks is an Apple App but there are other reasons why the apps could be crashing. You could try closing all of the apps in the recents tray and restart and see if that helps, but you may need to restore your device(s) if nothing else works.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -
My iPad calendar app crashes immediately after being opened. Running iOS5.
I have updated my iPad to iOS5 and for several days I have not experienced any problems, but today I started having a problem with the calendar app.
I can open in and see that it is day view, but I can't get it to respond to any actions before it closes in just a few seconds.
I have rebooted and resynced, but the problem still exists.
I downloaded a third party calendar app and it works just fine, but it only loads my gmail events, none of my me.com/iCloud events. I would appreciate any recommendations on what to try next.Me too. Has been a major problem since latest software launch. It's extremely irritating.

IPhoto 9.5.1 crashes immediately after it opens. what can i do?
The new program 9.5.1 was automatically installed... but it crashes as soon as it opens.
Hi,
I will literally owe you anything you want if you can solve this problem for me!!!
I have rebuilt the library with iphoto library manager. This got me back working once and never again.
I uninstaled and reinstalled iphoto.
I've tried using iphoto's repair and rebuild oprions when you hold command and alt at open,, but to no avail.
My iphoto just keeps crashing at launch. I'll post some of the crash log at the end of this comment.
I have literally tried everything and I have the first 3 and a half years of my little girls life tied up now in iphoto with no way of accessing it. The iphoto library is 65gb would this be causing the crash? I used to be apples no 1 fan but haveing spent 5 hours trying to fix this I'm starting to feel a hatred towards them!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks
Mark

When i Tap on my apps - like Direct TV from my phone i can not access the site. this is with weather site etc.
the error message "site not found" server stopped responding; or no server found.Firstly, DO NOT post imie numbers on a user to user forum - it is not safe to do so and your are NOT talking directly to Apple here.
Secondly, you need to go back to Apple in the country in which you bought the phone and get help with it there. Go back to the Apple store in the country in which you bought the phone. The warranty on the iPhone is not international, so is only valid for the country in which you bought it. -
My iPhone 4 with iOS 6 is making me start to hate Apple. Any App and at any time I open and I can not view it or move for more than 2 minutes, they close themselves. During connections, it also gives this problem and the signal disappears after a few seconds back but often the person on the other end has hung up ... I can not stand it anymore, someone suggests something?
Besides these problems, there is the battery, which was bad got worse, she is not lasting more than 10 hours, even without using the phone.
Sometimes it even seems that the problem was solved, but my joy did not last long after I celebrate all the problems return, is incredible ...
thanks.
Sorry my bad Inglês.Try a reset hold home/sleep buttons until Apple logo appears
If that does not improve try a restore

3rd party apps close immediately when opened
Hello All,
I saw that this issue: "3rd party apps close immediately when opened" was happening often on older iPAD posts, however, was not able to find a solution. I cannot open any 3rd party apps, but email, photos, etc work fine. thanks for the help!If it's happening on all the apps that you've downloaded from the App Store, but not the Apple built-in ones, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted.

SkillBuilders Modal Page... closes immediately after loading
I would like to use the Modal Page plug-in from http://www.skillbuilders.com .*
I installed the two sample applications from their web site with different results:
The employee example works fine.
The example with the modal feedback worked fine yesterday, but today it shrinks (after loading normally) so that I can't see anything but the bar with the window name and the close button.
In my own application it's even worse:
I have links in a table which should open a modal window on click.
I tried several settings, but the only thing that's happening is that the window closes immediately after loading and showing the page for a half a second (or not at all).
Leaving the "Auto-close On Element Selector" empty did not work. The default value "div#success-message" kept coming back until I replaced it with "null". But still no effect.
Does anyone have any idea what could cause this behaviour?
Best regards,
Sabine
The Security Settings for all three applications:
Cache: Enabled
Embed in Frames: AllowIn the meantime I had the problem that the window didn't close at all, but I think I figured it out.
So if the Modal Plug In does not work properly, check the following:
<li>Does every process that should close the window have a 'Success Message' defined?
<li>In the unconditional branch, is "include process success message" checked?
<li>In the dynamic action, is "Auto-close On Element Selector" set to "div.t1success" in the true action?
BTW: The "shrinking problem" described in the first post still exists - in IE. In Firefox, it works fine.
Best regards,
Sabine

I know that the code is clean because it runs perfectly in DW (even with the occasional lag). Shorter loop functions have also worked in DW, but not in my Chrome or IE browsers. Is there a script or program that the HTML should run first?
