Music Disappearing!!! Help please!!!

I Just updated my iPhone 5s to the iOS8 about 2 days ago. after i updated it I bought some new songs on my phone yesterday and I noticed that everytime I go to my music to play music all the songs I recently purchased are gone and I have to go into my iTunes and redownload them. After I redownload them they only stay in my music for about 30 minutes then disappear again and I must redownload! Please help me!! I just want to listen to some music!

Seems Apple doesn't care about this PC problem. I have the same issue, and have been ramming my head into the wall trying to get tech support. I dont have a serial number to a stupid MAC to enter so I cant continue on to try and talk to a pseudo human. most of my stuff was in the cloud and i backed it up a flash drive but alot of stuff is just plane gone (podcasts)/ wicked playlists vanished. unless you upload your burned cd's back into itunes perhaps...

Might corrupted dock and desktop preferences ...
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist
Click Go then move the com.apple.dock.plist file to the Trash.
Do the same for: ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist
Then restart your Mac.
As you have discovered, third party dock and desktop customization apps can often cause problems.

I was cleaning my macbook pro and i deleted all my files including itunes. Then when i turn on my itunes it says the folder"itunes" cannot be found or created, and is required. the default location for this folder is inside the "music" folder. help please

Music disappeared, help me restore!

I have a 5G iPod video. All of a sudden last night all music and video disappeared, but not my pictures, while it was connected to my PC and had iTunes running. I would love to get my music back, and it seems it might be there!
iTunes show an empty iPod, as does the iPod. But if I check the information on the iPod it says 0 songs, 0 videos, 125 pictures. Maximum capacity 27,8GB. Availible storage: 24GB. Theres something occupying 3,8GB, and this could very well be my music! The pictures are small and only occupy a couple of MB, and my music should have taken around 4GB, so I believe this must be my music!
Can you help me retreive it? It seems to be there, but I cannot make the iPod list and play it.
Furthermore, when the accident occured iTunes decided to put my iPod as an external device, and the checkbox is grayed so I cannot unselect it. Any ideas?

I was not as lucky. My music was NOT seen through windows explorer, iTunes and the iPod updater erased it. I was able to restore it by using a recovery program, Recover My Files. Unfortunately this program managed to recover a whole lot else, since my ~4GB of music ended up in 20GB of restored files. A lot of these files are broken, some are half songs etc. And most of the files have filenames without meaning (e.g. _TEF.mp3) and have their ID-tags erased. Meaning that if I want my music back I have 20GBs of files to LISTEN through AND decide what artist, song and album it is from.
I have been talking to Apple who have admitted that other people have had the exact same problem - that THEIR software erases the users music - but they take no responsibility and expect me to just live with it.
As you said jbrictor - one shouldnt trust the iPod. One have to have a backup of everything. I made the mistake of trusting it.

Facebook app not working and my blackberry world has completely disappeared, help please!

Hi guys, I'm in a real stooper, my facebook app. Was due an upgrade but soon after the upgrade it stopped working and everytime I click on to the icon it crashes the phone so I have to switch it on and off again to get it working, it then displays an error message. I've also noticed that my blackberry app. World icon has totally disappeared.
I really hope someone can give me some advice as I don't really know where to go from here and who to contact, please help!!

Nokia 2330 music player help please...

Just purchased this phone, and user guide has no info on how to download to the media player! I had hoped the PC suite would be able to be downloaded to use bluetooth, but the phone is not listed as one that is compatable with that software?! Anyone able to advise on how I'm suppose to be able to use this feature or if it is usable with the PC software?????

Hmm. I don't have this model...so what I'm suggesting is a best guess based on the fairly simple phone model you have there:
Well first, you'll need to convert any mp3 files you have into a mobile optimised format (AAC) as your phone isn't intended to play mp3 music and there's not a whole of space for music.
Next use the Nokia Suite and connect your phone via BT.
Then, go to file manager on Nokia Suite > Locate the converted music > Copy and paste/Drag and drop the file into your phone (Nokia Phone Browser > Nokia 2330 > C: ...there should be some folder for music there...)
Then go to your music player and try to check if it's there?
The other options are:
1. to purchase music from online, but be careful what you buy because there's a lot of MP3 mobile music which is NOT for your phone.
2. get a friend who has .aac format music files and have him/her bluetooth it to your phone...
Do let me know if any of this has helped. If not, please indicate what you have tried.

This is my first time and I really need help ......so I got this huge problem on my iPhone 5c well music is my everyday thing and since yesterday I noticed my left earphone was playing extremely loud other than the right and I have the volume on 1 I've tried everything I tried more than 5 earphones and it's the same problem I'm thinking something happened inside the music input I need help I have to go to school putting the hearing mono and the right cause If I put it on the left it will just sound so loud and crapy anyone please help!!!!

HT201272 Error in connection when downloading previously purchased music. Help please!

I'm trying to download previously purchased music onto a new authorized computer, but for a number of songs (1 in 10 approximately), I continually get the message that the connection cannot be established.
In my Library, these songs cannot be played.
However, when I go back under Itunes Store > Purchased - beside every song (regardless of whether it was successfully downloaded or not), it says Downloaded. So I can't download them again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. Tap the icon on the far left side of the row to either lock the iPad’s screen or mute the iPad’s alerts, notifications and sound effects. Music, podcasts and video are not muted unless you turn the volume all the way down.

I Can't Buy Any Music! Help Please.

Okay, this happened a few days ago. I've been trying to figure out what happened, but to no avail, so I've come here to get help. Every time I click on an album, it takes me to the regular screen where it shows the info about it on top along with reviews, etc.
On the bottom where the songs are supposed to be is nothing. I've tried clicking on multiple things, but nothing works. All I see is black columns.
Does this have anything to due with the fact I just redeemed two fifty dollar music cards from my birthday? I don't know if putting that much on at once makes Itunes do something funky.

I emailed apple support and they replied a day later that I needed to upgrade. So I upgraded and I still cannot download any music. Ive looked for a 1 800-help phone number but cannot find one. As much as I like i-tunes, I think they still havent worked out all the bugs if so many people are having the same problem.

Please help!! I have tried to reset my ipad. nothing is working. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes. it says there is an error when trying to connect ipad with itunes.

Try and force the iOS device into Recovery Mode:

3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to device
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected the device in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore device
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your device

All of my iWeb websites have disappeared, help please!!!

I have created some very complex websites using iWeb that took a lot of time. I turned my mac on yesterday and started iWeb in the same way that I always do and a pop up box came up saying that iWeb couldn't find the domain file. I wasn't sure what this meant at the time and hit cancel and now all of my sites have been wiped from iWeb.
After doing a bit of research I found out about the domain file. I tried to look for it on my Mac but at first it was no where to be seen. To start iWeb again I had to start a new website. It was only after this that a new domain file popped up, but it only had information regarding the new site on.
I have the sites I created published, backed up and saved. So a few questions,
1. Does anyone know why this has happened?
2. Is it possible to import my iWeb published websites back into iWeb?
3. Why is this program so under-developed, it has so much potential?!!? (You don't need to answer that one, just me venting a bit of frustration )

When you say that you have the sites you create "Published, backed up and saved" do you have your domain.sites files backed up and saved?
If not, then you are out of luck. No it is not possible for iWeb to import published websites back into iWeb. iWeb has no import facility and creates html upon publishing.
Your domain files cannot just be deleted like this, especially from iWeb, not unless you physically trash it or delete your sites from your domain file.
All your domain files are stored under User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/domain.sites. Look here and your domain files should be there - be careful to look under your User/Library as iWeb is not found under your System Library.
The only drawback that I can see with iWeb is the inability to import published sites. Anything else that you want to do can be worked around with the use of either html code and the html snippet or javascript code etc.
What you have to remember is that iWeb was originally developed for personal websites and nothing else - people without that much technical knowledge of web design who just wanted to get some kind of good looking site up and published with a few photos etc. This is why .Mac and now MobileMe was created so that you have ease of one click publishing.
Apple have improved it with each subsequent version, by including certain extra features with iWeb 09, however, it is still primarily meant to be for personal sites.
iWeb can be used to make some very good looking business sites too and you don't have to host on MobileMe.
iWeb is due another upgrade soon and there is some speculation that as 2010 was missed out as an upgrade the next version might be iWeb 11, so we'll all just have to wait and see what happens. Perhaps January next year and there are rumours that it was undergoing a complete overhaul.

Yes, you can upload directly to FB from Photos but you can only post to your own wall. I want to select pictures from FB so I can post to a group. It's not just FB. Any time I look for that album to attach a picture, the album is not there. If I compose an email and want to attach a photo from that new album, the album is not there to choose from.

Nokia Music Manager - help please

Hi, sorry if this may have been covered previously, I have looked but couldn't find anything relevant.
My problem is that I save all my music on my pc in one folder and I have about 600 tracks.
I installed Nokia Music Manager recently and now when I open my music folder I can see that approx 50 of my previously mp3 tracks are now of file type "Nokia Music Manager" and not mp3. I have tried converting them to back to mp3 using Itunes which works but in my music folder they still show as NMM.
I don't have a problem with them showing NMM in itunes as I can update my ipod fine, it's just when I want to burn an mp3 disc using Nero that it doesn't work - Nero can't find these NMM files in my music folder and it's doing my head in.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
