Music Files Duplicating - Nokia Lumia

I am struggling to get control of music on my otherwise lovely Lumia 520 There are currently 4 copies of most tracks I've downloaded onto my micro sd card. And I can't delete and add files with windows explorer (windows 7) as I should be able to. It's no better than Nokia music which I found hopeless. Is it just me? Can anyone help? Thanks.

I loaded my Lumia 625 with a bunch of different albums and podcasts, but as I go to play them, over time...they've grown to have like 5 or 6 copies each of some tracks.
So at first I thought I had probably copied them on more than once, so I formatted the card and copied it album by album...still, after a week or so, some of the songs are there up to 6 times.
It's definitely not a result of being connected to my computer because I haven't connected it since I loaded them on, and when I loaded them on...I checked that the copies were only going on once.
I'm at a loss.
When I delete the extra copies on the phone to leave one copy...it says the file can't be played.

Unsupported File Format (nokia lumia 520)

My Nokia Lumia 520 will not post pictures to social networks, transfer them to my computer, set them as my lock screen or even edit them. I purchased the phone only a couple of months ago and it was working perfectly, but then it would just come up with 'Unsupported File Format' when i tried to do anything with them. I did a full system reset, but the problem remained and I don't know what to do. I still have warranty on it and don't know wether swapping it would do any good. Please help!

Are you still having the same issue? If so, have you tried the suggestion given by nj15? Did you reset it by going to Settings > About > Reset your phone? Are all the pictures taken from your phone's camera or came from other sources?

Premiere Elements 9 no longer supports video files from Nokia Lumia 920 (it used to do)!

I've edited many videos from the same phone (.mp4) with the same software before (last time was 8 months ago). Now the software claims that the "file format is not supported or the required codec is not installed". How can it be? I haven't uninstalled or installed any codecs. The phone is the same. I can still open the old projects on Premiere Elements. I need to get this fixed so I can edit my videos!

In the case that you are presenting, are you importing new Nokia video into a new project? You say that you can open old projects in Premiere Elements. Do the old projects contain Nokia video from the same camera? If so, open one of the old projects and try to import the new Nokia video into that old project. Imports or not?
What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 9 running on? Are you running the program as the 9.0.1 Update? If not, please do so either
a. from Help Menu/Update in the opened project
or
b. from the 9.0.1 Update downloaded from Adobe online (Premiere Elements closed during download and installation).

I have just downloaded a sample from your Nokia Lumia 920 (1920 x 1080 @ 30 frames per second* AVCHD.mp4) and had no problems importing it into a new Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 project set with the project preset of NTSC DSLR 1080p DSLR 1080p30.
*Potential issues....
the Nokia video comes with a variable frame rate, in my case, 4.201 to 30.090, showing a value of 29.272. Premiere Elements (any version) is known to have issue with cell phone video recorded with a variable frame rate. The problem can manifest itself as audio out of sync or just not being able to import the video at all. Remedy...take the video into HandBrake and convert the variable to a constant frame rate.

Do you need a step by step how to on that? If so, we can supply one.
From what I have read, the Nokia can record with AVCHD video compression as well as MPEG-4. Both have a .mp4 file extension. Is what you used before the same video codec as you are using now? Please check the camera settings.
Please review and consider. You can post a sample of your problem video here as a Dropbox link, and I will road test it in my Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 that is working with a sample download from your brand/model cell phone.

Gnome-Bluetooth cannot receive files from Nokia Lumia 810

To whom it may concern,
I opened a bug report stating that I cannot receive files from my Nokia Lumia 810 using gnome-bluetooth. According to Nokia, it should be able to (and they claimed they tested it themselves during my phone call with them). The bug report is FS#33348. I'd appreciate if anyone could assist me on this problem.

Substitute, in the KB, the appropriate instructions for your other device in place of the KB section for the sending device. Do not skip the "Receive Using BT" step on the receiving BB...nothing will transfer if you do.

Corrupted music files on nokia 8800

I tried to use nokia Pc suite and rip music from cd to my mob. It downloaded but says files are corrupted and will not let me delete. Have even tried restoring a previous backup but the file remains.

Music files duplicated in Finder once played on iTunes after imported

Whenever I now import songs, albums, etc. to my mac locally they don't show up in itunes until I double click on them directly in finder to make them play in iTunes. However, after they start playing in iTunes a duplicate file is created doubling the file size of the original file I had clicked on. Any suggestions on how to delete the duplicates without me having to search and delete them one by one?

How are you "importing" songs? If simply copying files to somewhere on the Mac they won't be added to iTunes until you do it by dragging them to iTunes or double clicking on them to play them.
If you have iTunes' preferences set to add a copy of music to your media folder when adding an item it will copy an item from wherever it is located and put a copy in your media folder. Most people want iTunes to organize their music for them, but you can also unset that option in iTunes' preferences.

hi mate, have you checked that you are fully up to date with the latest firmware and that you are also up to date with the latest Nokia system app updates from the Store? also try performing a soft reset.
also ensure that you have turned Bluetooth on in both devices and that they are both discoverable to each other.

You cannot download video files on Nokia Lumia 610, but you can, however, stream supported videos by opening them in the browser. If you want to get a video file on your device, you'll need to transfer it using Zune or Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac (can be downloaded on AppStore). Please see here for instructions on how to synchronise content using Zune.

AAC, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, HE-AAC v1, HE-AAC v2, M4A, MP3, WAV, WMA 10 Pro, WMA 9
So yes, AMR is supported.
