Music Files Not Loading Properly On 80Gig iPod - (First time iPod User)

Hey Everyone, I'm new to this so please do bare with me. I bought a 80G ipod about 21/2 months ago it's great and all but lately, when I've been loading new Music on it does not load up properly only parts of the album will load up and leave certain part or sometimes even the whole album off despite copying the files information on to the player. When I reconnect my iPod and reload the music on again (once I've deleted the file that isn't working on the ipod) it works fine. It was okay the first few times but it's starting to become an annoyance. If anyone knows whats wrong or what I can do.. please let me know! Any help would be great appreciated! Thanks In Advance

So today i plugged in my ipod and itunes opened up and I immediately noticed that the music files were not able to be viewed, but the ipod still read that it had x number of files and x number of gb's used. Is it possible to recover my music files. I am still able to view my contacts. Anyone find a solution to this problem without restoring the iPod to factory specs?

It's a program that transfers music from iPod to iTunes on a Mac.
There's also a similar program called Yamipod which has a Mac version.
I've used both these on a Mac with great success, but of course the iPod needs to be redable by your computer.

Music files not loading in Simulator (yet functioning in actual device)

Hi all.
I'm toying with music, just to add some sound effects to an application, and I'm facing a weird behavior from the iPhone Simulator.
The sounds work perfectly in the actual device: I've used the AVAudioPlayer class and I've put some .aif files in the bundle: at runtime they are found, properly load and played.
If I try the very same thing using the iPhone Simulator, the initWithContentsOfURL fails and the returned error description is:
Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-50 "Operation could not be completed. (OSStatus error -50.)"
I'm not able to find what's the meaning of such a Code, so I'm not able to understand what's wrong...
Any help?

P.S.: I've checked that the aif files are in the application bundle loaded in the Simulator.

Swf files not loading properly

Hello, I'm new to Flash and recently downloaded the trial to make a few things to add to my website. Nothing too complex, I made a slideshow of images and turned some images into buttons. Either way, after I publish the files and import the swf files into Dreamweaver, I always get a flash player error when I try to look at the content on my website. It will tell me that I need to update my flash player to 11.2. I've downloaded 11.2 multiple times, reinstalled flash player, and made sure that I do indeed have the correct version of flash player on this computer. Just to ensure that it wasn't a problem with my laptop, I checked with a different computer as well and it had the same problem.
Is this a problem because I'm trying to create content with the trial version? Or am I just doing something wrong? After I create whatever I'm making in Flash, I save it, publish it, and import the .swf file into Dreamweaver.

As far as the trial version being the source of the problem goes, it is not likely because the trialversion is a fully functional version without restrictions on use.
What might be part of the problem could be allowing Dreamweaver to embed the Flash content into the web page rather than using the code that Flash will generate for embedding.
What you should do is publish an html page via Flash (set it up in the Publish Settings) and test that html page to see if you have the same issue. If not, copy the code from that page and use it in place of whatever Dreamweaver created for it.

Why do html5 files not load properly for me in Safari?

Flash player videos do not load properly about 80% of the time

Using 64 bit W7
Firefox 12, latest version of Chrome
latest version of FP as of yesterday (11.2.202.233)..reinstalled about 6 times trying to fix this in the past week.
Ever since I updated flash player about a week and a half ago (I dont know what version I was using before...the auto-updater told me to upgrade so I did ..big mistake I guess), every video site, every video has had issues loading unless I get extremely lucky. I usually have to refresh the videos about 4 or 5 times to get them to fully load. When they DO finally load they usually do so at a snail pace. Most of the time the videos will load 40-70% and then just freeze their buffer forever until I refresh a bunch. I know this is a flash issue because it happens on both FF and Chrome, and I switched to the HMTL5 trial on Youtube and have had ZERO issues with HMTL5 videos. Unforutnately, youtube is the only big website that seems to support HMTL5 right now so that's not a solution. And of course, the biggest factor in me knowing this is a flash issue is because it happened the very day I upgraded to this version.
Any help at all would be appreicaited...I've tried all the things listed on the FAQs such as disabling HMTL5, clearing cache, completely installation. deleting Flash's cache completey, ect ect....no changes at all.

Could do the following please.
Download the Flash player uninstaller first of all and save it somewhere you can find it again easily.
Download the Flash player installer next and save that to the same place.
Disable your antivirus scanners next. If you use AVAST, right click the orange icon in systray, go to "Avast Shields Control" and choose to disable all shields for one hour. If you're not using AVAST, consult this list for instructions on how to disable it: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic114351.html Particularly, if you're using AVG, open Firefox, press CTRL+SHIFT+A to open the Add-ons manager, go to the Extensions submenu and disable "AVG Linkscanner" and "AVG Safe Search". Both of these will interfere with the download process otherwise.
If Firefox is open, close it.
If you're running any apps which use Flash like AIM or any games, close them before proceeding with the next step.
Next, run the Flash uninstaller which will also remove the the program from Firefox and from Internet Explorer (but not from Chrome).
Next, run the Flash installer. This will only install Flash in Firefox. Do not open Firefox before you run it though.
Next, open Firefox, hit CTRL+SHIFT+A to open the Firefox Add-ons manager, go to the Plugins menu and confirm that Shockwave Flash 11.2.202.235 is visible.
Go to a site where you were unable to play videos before and see if these troubleshooting steps made any difference.
If everything works properly, open Internet Explorer, go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=BUIGP and download Flash for IE. Uncheck the optional McAfee installer because you don't want that. When you see the option to Run, or Save, choose "Run" to install it immediately.
As regards Google Chrome, the Flash player is intergrated in the browser and updates automatically in the background. You cannot update it manually. If Chrome continues to exhibit problems, consult this page for possible solutions: Google Chrome Issues
AVAST will re-enable itself automatically after an hour, but you may need to re-enable other AV apps manually.

Report not loading on entering page the first time

I use a collection to generate a cross tab style report. The report shows records using a week’s date range. The date range can be changed by using a previous and next button.
When opening up this page the date range defaults to that current week but no records are shown. yet if I click previous or next buttons and then go back to that current week date range, the records display.
A Hidden Item is set with the current week’s date and is loaded on the page before the report is loaded.
I use PL/SQL column headings with the date for each day of the week. This shows correctly across the page.

Actually it has been running ok in the developement site and was fine on the Sunday then stopped working on the Monday (without any code changes been made). I am not sure if the Decode statement needs work. Here is the Monday one. When I used a '1' to represent the Monday it put it the Tuesday column on the report.

Despite my best efforts, I am unable to remove iTunes 11.1.4 from my PC, this being made necessary because the original installation had a flaw and did not load properly. Effor to use the control panel, deleting dll. files, etc. all failed. iTune out??

And, of course, on startup, a window opens with the error and tells me find QTMovie.dll and delete it because this may be the source of the hangup. Also, in trying to delete iTunes, I get the additional message that I must get approval from the System Administrator to take this action. I am the System Administrator.
Any ideas would be welcomed.

I use the following eem script to copy the running config to a tftp-server:

When I open the config file on the tftp-server with an editior I see the following error message on top of the configuration:

Besides this message I have not yet seen any negative impact. I googled for the error message and found a Cisco bug CSCsr06310 which should have been fixed in NX-OS 4.0(4)

I was having the same problem where only 1.7GB of 10GB of selected music would sync so I decided to start fresh. The following steps worked for me:
1. Open itunes and connect iphone 5 if not already. Uncheck all playlists, artists, etc. till nothing is checked to sync. Then uncheck the sync music box so that all music will be removed from the phone. Sync iphone
2. Eject device. Quit itunes (don't just close). unplug iphone.
3. Restart imac, macbook, or PC.
4. Restart iphone.
5. Now after power up, restart itunes then plug in iphone, check sync music and select music to sync. Sync iphone
6. It worked for me!!! Good luck.

Iweb not loading properly to server?

Hi I have used Dreamweaver in the past but decided to try iweb this time. I built a site www.southernlakestravel in iweb and have both published it to a local folder for safe-keeping and also to my webserver (2day.com) . I have also tried to ftp the site in dreamweaver. My problem is that all the fites load onto the server (whether published directly from iweb or via dreamweaver ftp) BUT I can almost never get the navigation bar to show up - just appears as a little dot on the top left side. I also note a lot of the images are not loading properly. If I resize them in photoshop to fit then it seems to be more secure. When I look at my files serverside and remoteside I have the folder name, the index file then the subfolder name with all the page files and a second index file and the script files. I notice that the script files include a js navigation menu. Is there a problem with the heirarchy of these files and whether the main index page can "pull these". Should the server be looking to document or root folder. I am at my wits end to know what to do. I can click on links between pages (click on activities in the above page and then go to some of the links shown), but basically the pages load without the iweb style navigation menu showing up at all and with many of the photos only half showing. Also, why does it become southernlakestravel/southernlakestravel?

You have the double domain name because the second one is your site name - you gave your site this name in iWeb and you can change it to something shorter and more suitable and then this won't happen.
As you have seen, it is the way that iWeb works - when you publish to a local folder, iWeb produces a site folder with a separate index.html file - there is another index.html file inside the site folder itself so what you need to do is upload the site folder to the root folder and then you upload hte separate index file that will sit outside the site folder and point in towards it.
The iWeb page template navigation menu is javascript based and sometimes if there is a black dot, this means that all the files are not being uploaded to the server correctly.
It would suggest that you publish your site to a local folder and then view your site by opening the html pages and seeing if there is a problem there before you upload your site.
i would then suggest that you then use something other than Dreamweaver to upload your site - download Cyberduck for free - this is a dedicated ftp programme and may be better than Dreamweaver for uploading. With Cyberduck, you can see exactly where everything is being uploaded to.
In the end, if you really want to eliminate your site name, then you can - you just need to upload the contents and the contents only of your site folder. This means that you will not need the extra index file - simply select all the contents of your site folder and upload these with the index file that is in there already. If you do this your url will just be http://www.domain.com/page name.html without the site name at all.
