Music from itunes in slideshow

i just tried to add music to my slideshow and i think it is different then the last time i tried to do it. I can't get to my music library, it only display the last few albums i have put in. Why can't i get to my whole library? I swear I could before. any ideas?

    Launch iTunes use the File -> Library -> Organize Library -> Reorganize Library menu option. Then quit and relaunch iPhoto.

    Then your iTunes library is already organized according to the latest format. See this document on the organisation of the iTunes Library :

    Sometimes the database files inside your iTunes Library can get corrupted.
    Try to rebuild the file "iTunes Music Library.xml" as described  here:

    I'm not sure if "Consolidate" can help in this situation - it will move all songs into your iTunes Library, so that they can be easier found, but not recreate the datbase files.

  • Updated iPhoto could no longer use the music from iTunes library for slideshow

    Anybody checked if you can still use your music from iTunes library for slideshows?
    After updating both iPhoto and iTunes to the latest version in Mavericks, all music links in the iPhoto's slideshows became invalid. Tried even to re-establish the music links, but it seems like the iPhoto would not play any music from the iTunes library. Only the sample music from iPhoto is usable. The iTunes works fine by the way.

    I think I found a workaround that seemed to correct the problem. In iTunes, go to the File menu and choose Library. Then select Organize Library. Next choose Reorganize files in the folder "iTunes Media".  Click OK.

    In general, itunes has DRM (copy protection) so it will only work according to the license... and as far as I know, Apple's license does not allow use in a new product, only in the Apple player... new product being the video you want to create

    When selecting music from itunes for an iphoto slideshow (iphoto08), I am only able to select one song, even when I select and highlight multiple songs, only the last song in the highlighted list plays, and then repeats itself.     I am having the same problem. I have just tried this. Unplug iphone > open itunes > delete all music from itunes library > close itunes > re-open itunes > add music from original folder > plug in iphone > select songs > press sync > unplug iphone using eject button onscreen > checked phone .... still nothing in music folder on phone. On itunes the "On this iphone" tab the songs remain there but greyed out.

    My HDD crashed and it contained all of the music from which iTunes and iMatch pulled files from.  Is there a way to recover the music from iTunes Match and download it back to my new HDD?

    My computer HDD did not crash only my external drive with the music files.  I have not had to reinstall iTunes software.  The iTunes libarary is still complete and shows the complete list of music.  I have also ran Update iTunes Match and all of the music is on the cloud.
    I cannot play the music from iTunes that is on the cloud, however the music I purchased from iTunes did download and it will plan from my computer.
    The matched or uploaded music is what will not download and I can't find a command that allows me to download from Match.
    Sorry if I'm not being very clear, however I do really appreciate your help and suggestions.
