I found some music that I want to buy, however it is in the UK. I get a message that I can not buy it from the USA. Something about it being a USA sever. Is there a way to setup an account so that I can legally buy music that is on the UK server?

Steve, as has been said in the Discussions many, many time, Apple has no choice in the matter. It's due to restrictions placed on Apple by the record companies and other rights holders. The entities that hold the rights to any given track are almost always completely different from country to country, so providing a given track in any given country requires individual negotiations for any download store. In addition, each entity insists that tracks be sold only within that given country so that they all get their own piece of the pie. If you purchase a track from another country's iTMS, your local record company won't get their share of the payment and that's something they're generally not at all willing to forgo. These entities don't like cross-border sales of CDs either, but there's nothing they can do to stop such sales. They can, though, and do stop cross-border download sales, since if the download stores refuse, the rights holders won't license the tracks to that store.
So unless and until the record companies, et. al, all get together and agree to allow download stores to sell cross-border, there's absolutely nothing Apple or any other download store can do.

How do I import music from other libraries on the same computer?

We have four separate accounts created on our iMac for four different users. Each of these accounts has an iTunes library associated with it. I would like to be able to import music from one iTunes library to another. I would be grateful for any help!

To give other users read-only access to your iTunes library, use the Sharing features of iTunes. Sharing works over the local network as well as on the same computer. See the built-in help for details.

Get strange audio from other parts of the video when I am using transitions

In most cases when I add a transition, I get a strange piece of audio inserted during the transition. I know I can go in and manually edit this out, but is there some sort of fix to keep this from happening in the first place?

Welcome to the discussions.
Yes, that is a problem that happens sometimes, especially with the Cross-Dissolve transition. I use that one a lot, and run into this with many of my clips. I have 'fixed' it with a variety of methods including muting, putting music over it, adding audio clips recorded from the beginning of the next clip....for this one I have to delete the transition, crop the next clip, remove it to the clips pane, add back the transition and record the audio from the deleted clip using WiretapPro. Works great and actually is faster than it seems.
You might be able to get some correction by trashing iMovie's preference file; Close iMovie. Go to YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.imovie.plist
If you also have iMovie 8, you will see its plist as com.apple.imovie7.plist, so be sure to trash the correct one.
Drag the plist file to the trash. Reopen iMovie and see if it works properly now.

Not receiving email notifications of iCal event invitations from other parties.

I am not receiving emails for iCal event invitations from other parties, but the invitations ARE in my iCal Inbox. I don't use iCal often, so I never proactively go in to check my Inbox there, but rather have always depended on receiving the email notification of an event invite to know to add it to my iCal. I can SEND invitations to others successfully with other parties receiving MY email notifications, I'm just not receiving them via email.
I've now missed two very important meetings because I never received the email invitations to add an event, which were the only forms of correspondence for both. Can anyone help me? Thank you!

There are no officially unlocked iPhone 5's available, in the US, at the present time. No announcement, as to availability has been made. The only unlocked iPhone, available now, is the iPhone 4 or 4S. Either of these versions will work, but will have no warranty or support in India. They can only be purchased directly from Apple, no where else.

Sorry for insulting Apple. This whole thing has me frustrated. You would think that this is an easy thing...which it is after downloading the third party software and all.
I am just a bit edgy after talking to 3 customer support folks for almost 2 hours, who I could barely understand and then having them just tell me to download the files again. 3500+ songs...jumping out the window was looking more pleasant (jk). Now I have to explain to the wife why the phone is busted in-two...lol.
Anyway, I was able to get hooked up with some software and it seems to be downloading fine. I am using iPodCopy. Thanks for the nudge in the right direction and putting up with a bit of attitude. I am sure they have their reasons for not making this an easier operation.

I am having the same problem. I have just tried this. Unplug iphone > open itunes > delete all music from itunes library > close itunes > re-open itunes > add music from original folder > plug in iphone > select songs > press sync > unplug iphone using eject button onscreen > checked phone .... still nothing in music folder on phone. On itunes the "On this iphone" tab the songs remain there but greyed out.

Your description of the problem is a bit confusing. Do you have ONLY ONE Apple ID or do you have MORE THAN ONE?

If you still have the crashed Win computer, you may be able to recover your music and movies from the hard drive. If you have a friend with a hard drive USB connection kit and a PC, they should be able to help. Otherwise, check locally for computer services that might do that for you (I think Best Buy Geek Squad may be able to help). If the drive itself is in good shape, it shouldn't be too expensive.

The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The exception is itunes purchases. File>Transfer Purchases
Everything on your ipod should also be on your computer and included in your regular backup of your computer.
