Music grayed out (on my HOME computer!)

I understand the iPhone's music contents is grayed out on secondary computers, but my contents are grayed on my home computer. Does anybody have a fix?
Laptops Mac OS X (10.4.10)

I thought that was how I had it all set up. Here's what I have checked:
ITUNES PREFERENCES
"Disable automatic syncing for all iPhones" is checked
IPHONE SUMMARY MENU
"Automatically sync when this iPhone is connected" is unchecked
"Only sync checked items" is checked
IPHONE MUSIC MENU
"Sync music" and "All songs and playlists" are both checked
Everything else in the menus is unchecked, and my music is still grayed out. Am I doing something wrong?

Is it possibly to have iTunes music play out of both the computer and Apple TV while simultaneously using Airplay Mirroring to view the computer screen on the TV? Whenever I try, by clicking on 'computer' radial button for volume in iTunes Airplay, the TV automatically reverts to the Apple TV screen. I usually end up using preferences to 'bring back' the audio to the computert while leaving the picture on the tv, but this means i have to suffer from the inferior sound quality of my Macbook internal speakers.

You need a Firewire 800 to 400 adapter or cable or a external USB 2/3 drive (self powered) it can default to the old USB the G5 uses 1 or 2.

IPhone 5S some music grayed out

I just got an iPhone 5S. Backed up my old phone to computer, and used this backup to get info, data and music onto new phone. After syncing the phone with iTunes on my computer, some songs on some albums are grayed out and have a red circle with a square next to them, and obviously they do not play on my phone. However just using iTunes on my computer they all play just fine. Any ideas how I fix this? Many thanks!

Thanks for your interest in helping me. I updated my iPhone software to 1.1.2 because it told me to. I have iTunes 7.5. My OS is XP. The only thing I can do to my iPhone is to sync (manually or automatically) to get music on/off my iPhone. I can't just delete songs... they have to come on/off from my playlists. It's maddening!! All I've seen so far is that people that turn the auto sync feature off get their songs un-grayed, but that didn't work for me. That's about it Thanks!

Non purchased music grayed out?

I have a fair amount of music not purchased through iTunes (cd's etc.) that is grayed out in my iTunes song listings. I can't play them or download them. I thought all of my music would be available when I uploaded everything to iCloud. Can someone explain this please?

iTunes where? On your computer? Is this in the iTunes library that you orginally matched? Did you delete the music off the computer after the match process was complete? Or are the "greyed out" songs on an iOS device? More detail, please.

Found almost all of my music--all of the CD music--grayed out this morning. Why is that, and how do I stop this from happening? Second day in a row!

Yesterday, I wrestled with the iPhone for three hours, trying get my CD library to RE-APPEAR on my iPhone. I finally thought I had--I removed a "bad" artist, and everything was fine.
Until this morning, when I tried to go for a run and, again, found MY ENTIRE CD LIBRARY--EVERYTHING EXCEPT WHAT I'D BOUGHT THROUGH ITUNES--grayed out again.

Connect ipad. Select what you wan tto sync. Sync. Disconnect ipad.
Cnnect ipod. Select what you want. Sync.

Music grayed out after synching

After backing up my iPhone 4, I connected my new iPhone 4S, and restored the new phone from the back up of the old. All went well except that most of my music (whose title, artist, etc., info appears) is frayed out and not able to be played on my new phone. Tech support from Apple was unusually not helpful, advising me to move my music to a different directory, and resynch.
Any ideas?

Is your computer still authorized in the Store menu in iTunes? Are you using the same account as when you bought the music in iTunes?
Any restrictions set?

How do you do what? Plug the iPhone into a USB port directly on your computer, or disconnect other USB devices? To disconnect a USB device unplug it from the computer. If it is a disk drive eject it first using the Eject icon in the System Tray. To plug the iPhone into a USB port directly on the computer insert the USB end of the sync cable into a USB port on the computer.
If you are using all of the ports on your computer get a hub and plug low power devices into the hub (e.g., keyboard, mouse). Or get a hub with its own power supply and plug your high power devices (disk drives, DVD drive) into it.

Purchased music grayed out

Hello- I recently purchased some albums and songs from ITunes and enjoyed them on my iPhone but recently, they show in the search of music( but in gray) but with no art and won't play. Also they appeared on my other devices, which is cool and they will play but I really want them back on my iPhone. I hope this is something I'm overlooking. Anyone know a solution?

There should be a small cloud icon next to them which would allow you to download them as previously purchased, as long as they are still available from the store.

when i try to sync my music, it gives me the option of erasing content from ipad (which i do not want to do). it will not give me the option to move the music to computer from ipad. when i try to transfer purchases, it is only tranfering apps.

Performance home grayed out on AWR Warehouse

We have recently configured OEM AWR Warehouse.notic In that Performance home option is grayed out on the home page.
Repository is 12.1.0.2 db
Note:
Am using Sys privileged credential to login the db. And No error message observed

Can you confirm the Database Diagnostic Pack and Oracle Tuning Pack is enabled
From the Setup -> Management Pack -> Management Pack Access,
To enable the Management Pack for Oracle Database:
From the Setup menu, select Management Packs, then select Management Pack Access.
Enterprise Manager Cloud Control displays the Management Pack Access page.
In the Management Pack Access page, from the Search list, select Database . Go
Enterprise Manager Cloud Control lists all the Oracle Database targets being monitored.
From the table, for the Oracle Database target you are interested in, enable the Oracle Diagnostics Pack, Oracle Database Tuning Pack and click Apply.

Podcasts grayed out on iTouch

I've tried resetting my iTouch and still most of my podcasts are grayed out so I can't use them. I can listen/watch them on my iTunes app. Any idea why?!

Thanks tried that and now ALL my music is grayed out on my desktop computer and not visible on my iTouch. Ugh. Will try a reboot now suggested on another thread...

Forget All Remotes Grayed Out In iTunes

I am using iTunes on 10.6.8.
Under the "Device Preferences" option in iTunes Preferences, it says that "iTunes is not paired with any Remotes." The "Forget All Remotes" is grayed out.
However, home sharing is turned on to "share entire library."
And, when I open the remote app on my iPhone and my iPad, it will play the selected songs I have chosen throught he remote app.
But I can't unpair them.
Does anyone know why this is?

I recently bought a new laptop, authorised it for my iTunes account, etc, etc, transferred all my music, and everything was absolutely fine. HOWEVER, when I connected up my iPhone and transferred my App Purchases across to the new laptop(which was also fine incidentally), I found the iPhone screen in iTunes under the "Apps" tab is completely greyed out. I can't move apps around, and more irritatingly I can can't synch apps from iTunes to my iPhone. I've tried backing it up (which again works fine), checked every setting under the sun both in iTunes and on my iPhone, but no joy.
I've been scouring the net for answers and the only thing I've found is to check the Restrictions settings on my iPhone to ensure they are off. My apps Restrictions settings were already set to Off, so that's clearly not the problem. Both my iTunes and iPhone are running the latest versions and OS updates.
There seems to be literally hundreds of people with this problem if the threads on the net are anything to go by, but no-one seems to know the answer.
