Music in Flash

I know there is a way to import music but i dont have enough
space for doing that so i was wondering how could i get music into
flash from a url and then make buttons from there

Sorry for double posting but i relized that i didnt make my
questino real clear
What i want to do is to make buttons that when clicked play
sounds from a url so i would be using html and i dont know much
about html or scripting or any thing so could some one help
pleaseeee

Transferring music from flash drive

My old laptop died but luckily my hard drive was intact so I was able to transfer my itunes to a flash drive. Now that I have a new computer, how do i transfer music from flash drive to itunes on my new computer (windows)?

Drag and drop.
When I moved music from my old to new computer I just dragged the files into the 'my music' folder on my computer. Then did have to import the folder into iTunes.
If you have a lot of playlists etc, I believe there is another way that'll preserve more of that info. I'm not familiar with it since I don't use the playlist feature.

How do I play Video music in Flash player 11 when it is not my default player in Windows 7 Professio

I have downloaded Adobe Flash Player 11 on my computer. I am running Windows 7 professional operating system. I have some video music files and would like to run them in Flash and not Windows Media Player. How can I do this.

Flash isn't used as a stand alone media player. You'll need to find a web based application that can load your media files and then play them for you. However, that seems a round about way for playing videos on a local system. Have you tried an alternative such as VLC?

Can't remove music from Flash file

I decided not to use a music (wav) file and want to delete it
from my file. I deleted it from the library and also the layer it
was on. I publish the file and the sound still plays! I have no
idea how to get rid of it!

You must be previewing an old file, perhaps cached. If there
is no sound, it's impossible
for flash to play it :)
Save it under new name and publish again.

Help with adding music to flash file

I'm working on designing a flash file that I will upload to a
web site I'm designing. I have original music that I want to upload
to it, but the sound is coming across as garbled. I ripped the
music off a CD so the file I am importing into Flash is .wav file.
The sound is fine when run my compueter, but it sounds aweful when
I import it into Flash. Can I add a .wav file to flash, or would I
be better off using an mpeg or mp3 file? Does it matter which type
of file I use to get the best sound quality?
Once I get the correct file imported to the library, how
should I go about applying it to the flash document? Should I
simply drop it into a new group of frames like I would any other
file, or is there a better way to implement it? I am not worried
about the user having control of it, in fact, I don't want them to
be able to turn off the sound.
Any suggestions and comments would be helpful, thanks

You can add wav file to flash, even preferred over mp3 file.

The bad quality is a result of compression you use for that
sound upon export.
After import, open the library CTRL L , right click the sound
and go to properties.
Try to change the mp3 export quality, use the TEST button for
immediate try, also monitor
the increase in file size at the bottom of the screen. The
better the quality, the
larger the file will be.

Sage. Inability to transfer music to flash drive

I recently tried to transfer some of my music to a flash drive. This was attempted after the most recent system update. I receive an Error Code 43 whether I try to move a single song or a group of songs.

Is there anything about your configuration you could tell us that might help? For starters, if you are dragging the files from a Finder window to the flash drive iTunes is not involved. You would have been better off posting in the operating system (OD) forum for the OS version you are running (your profile does not include that).
Error -43 is an OS "file not found" error. This seems to happen occcasionally when a second drive is involved, particularly one shared with a Windows machine. E.g., Archived - Mac OS X, Mac OS X Server: "Error -43" When Using Windows File Sharing (SMB) - http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2039 - "There are three causes for this: illegal characters, a permissions issue, and/or a non-existent share point."
Try using Disk Utility to repair permissions on the drive.
Drive corruption is possible, Use Disk Utility to repair your drive. How you do this exactly will depend upon your OS version.

Transfer itunes music from flash drive to new pc

I have a new PC, HP Envy. I had previously copied my Music, etc. onto ex-hard-drive from my old PC but do not know how to get this music onto my new PC. I have an I-Pod which I attach to my computer on occasions to update it. I have just downloaded I-Tunes 11.0.5.5 but dont know where to go from here. I also thought that I-Tunes held backups of ones music, is this so?

Drag it to the internal drive and then into the open iTunes application window. If the external drive contains an entire iTunes library, you can also launch iTunes with the Shift key held down and point it there.

Wireless headset,kde and music from flash videos playback

Merry christmass folks! Guys I`m having problems to stream audio from youtube on my headset. I suspect it is something related to kde configurations. I`ve set it as primary device in all settings I`ve found. If I do the sound test it plays properly the sounds from left and right ear. Still I can hear streams as grooveshark or youtube. It is something as the sounds from flash not being played. Still I`ve set them to max.\
Any ideas?

Out of curiosity, why 15 FPS? Why not leave Captivate at 30 FPS and encode the videos at the same rate? Does it reduce the size drastically or something?

Adding music to flash problem mp3 to long not stop and repeating

i added a music file to the stage, the movie clip is only about 35secs long. the music is like 3mins long.
anyway my problem is that the movie clip stops and music continues playing. and the movie clip and music start playing again
while the first music is still playing. and it sounds as if it continuing to do this.
how do i stop the music when the movie clips end.
is there some actionscript code that will stop this.

kglad meant that you set the sound sync to Stream instead of Event. To do that select the frame where you added the sound, then in your properties inspector you will see Sound, Effect, Sync. Choose Stream in the Sync drop down box.

Music for Flash Builder 4.6

Hi
I would appreciate a little help on this. I would like to add a text or button link to my Flash Builder 4.6 project that when the user clicks on it, a song will start playing and when the user clicks on another text or button link, the song stops.
Example:
Name of Song Play / Stop
I am looking for the simplest way to accomplish this.
