Purchased a ringtone, got error message stating it couldn't be downloaded due to SD card, unless mounted and removed SD card, tried to repurchase ringtone got error message stating it was in my music inbox. Have searched everywhere in my phone and on verizon tones, ringtone is nowhere to be found. No text message, there is no option to manage ring tones in verizon tones just ring back tones, it does not appear in my music, sounds, downloads, or files. Where is my ringtone?

I am having the same problems as everyone else. I have a Galaxy S5. My first ringtone downloaded. My second gave me the error message about the SD card. When I tried to repurchase the ringtone it said it was in my music inbox - which does not exist. Texting list gives me the top 20. I also tried to repurchase my ringtones from my previous device - I got an error message saying try again later or contact customer support. (Customer support was unreachable). I then got texts which said download failed and to try again. Those texts have since disappeared and I haven't been able to get any of my ringtones.

Ringer download? Where did it go?

I downloaded some new ringers on my Samsung Galaxy S4 thru the Verizon Tones app, and it says they went to my music inbox? I can't find them anywhere. Error Code 20058. I can't find a music inbox anywhere. Any advice on where to find them would be great. One Ring tone went thru fine and shows up under my music downloads, but the other ones aren't there.

Do you have an SD Card in the phone, sounds like that could be a problem, From another posting: in Verizon Tones, click bottom right three dots and it pulls up the menu for downloads pending. See if the other songs are shown there.

I just spent forever with this problem with verizon. did you try downloading from Verizon Tones? If you did and didn't get it resolved try this...
Go into verizon tones and press and hold the soft key (the recent apps key-used to be the menu options key on old phones) to the left of the home button. when you press and hold it, the menu options come up instead of the recent apps. Then press "downloads". I found my ringtone there under "pending"

I had the same problem. Go back into Verizon Tunes. At the bottom of the screen you should see 3 dots. Touch them and that will bring up additional choices, one being Downloads. In the Downloads choice is 2 bars. One bar is Pending Downloads (aka Music Inbox) the other bar shows your download history.

Ringtone nowhere to be found

I bought two ringtones today, the first one downloaded fine and is working. The second showed the file as downloaded but doesn't show up in my list of ringtones. So I went and bought it from Verizon Tones again. Same thing. So I tried a third time and it says to look in my music inbox, which I can't find anywhere. So, Verizon, was I double charged for a ringtone that I can't even access?

Hello trigojon. Sorry to hear of this issue with the missing ringtone. With regards to the suggestion, did you try to access your default music player, run a scan of all audio files, and see if it appears on the listing of available music tracks?
What phone make/model do you use?
We can help review the charges if you are billed for twice for the same ringtone. Just let us know if it does appear twice.

My iPhone 4 does not change to Landscape orientation

I just got a new iPhone, my first, and have mastered many of the features. However, even though I have unlocked the orientation, it still will not change when in apps that are supposed to change if you turn the phone, so it stays in portrait orientation. Any other advice? thanks

Before I try all of this, I would like to know why I would have to do all of this, as I just got this phone yesterday-- it's brand new!
You have to try these steps because your phone isn't working properly, and presumably you want to fix it. If you don't do anything, you don't get screen rotation to work, eh? You don't have to do all - do them in the order listed until it's fixed. If the last step, restoring as new, doesn't work, there is a hardware failure and you'll have to get a warranty replacement.
What does how "new" your phone is have to do with it? If new meant perfect, you wouldn't have this problem in the first place...
Also, that means I have to backup everything, and would all my music, inboxes, etc. be restored when I hit restore?
Wow! You mean you haven't been backing up and syncing already? What happens when your phone crashes and you lose all your purchased music, photos, messages, etc.? (Rhetorical question.)
You really need to look over the User Guide I linked for you. In particular, read Chapter 4 on backing up and syncing and Appendix B on the troubleshooting steps.
Restarting and resetting don't cause data loss. Restoring using a backup will restore everything on the phone. Restoring as new results in some data loss, but if you sync your music/media to iTunes and your contacts with an app on your computer, those get put back on your phone when you sync.

How can I synchronize all hotmail folders in Mac's "Mail"? (Not just Inbox)

I tried to synchronize my hotmail accounts in Mac's Mail but only those emails inside "Inbox" can be synchronized. No other folders under my hotmail can be synchronized. Is there any tools to solve this problem?

If you right click on a son in iTunes and click Get Info. Under the Sorting tab iyo can change how the songs is sorted in iTunes
Tips for using song and CD info to organize your music
You can edit information in the Info window to make it easier to find and sort items in your library. For example, you can:

Does the non-syncing songs play in iTunes on the computer?
is there anything different about the songs that do sync and those that do not? Like where they cam from? The format (Get Info>under the File tab).

You can only add folders to the email account if it is an IMAP account. If you see an EDIT button at the top of the window when you are in the email account - where you can see your inbox, sent and trash folders - if there is an edit button at the top of that window - you can tap that and then an Add Mailbox option appears at the bottom of the window.
If you do not see that edit button, you do not have an IMAP account and you cannot add folders.

Lost mail messages from inbox and drafts

I have lost all my previous inbox messages and drafts after resetting my account in Mail Preferences after a server problem. Is it because I may have renamed my account? I can't remember what I called my POP account before.
How do I recover my inbox messages or my old 'account' name.(Will that make them reappear?)
Have deleted messages from server so can't go back to there.
Problem started when someone sent me a huge music file which filled up everything.

i have this same problem so just adding on to plea for guidance. i tried to rename my mail application and remove it from the dock all in a lame attempt to make it harder for someone to find who i share a computer with....stupid. now i can't get my email to come back, there is no mail icon in my dock except a folder that says mail. i tried to reinstall my software this morning and it's the same thing....how do i get mail back???

Can I move my old music from my Nano to my iTunes library without losing it?

in 10 years 3 computers crashed and I'm the 4th-How do I transfer OLD music from my old Ipod Nano to my iTunes library without losing it. My nano is filled to the brim but I don't want to lose music from CDs I no longer have and the thought of re-purchasing seems crazy.

The file structure is a little complex. I will use inbox as an example.
Inbox (a large file with no file extension)
Inbox.msf ( An index of inbox with tags etc. Can be deleted with only loss of tags)
Inbox.sdb (a folder, indicating that the folder within Thunderbird has a sub folder.
POP mail is stored in
Appdata/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/*.default/Mail/[Server name]/
Local folder is stored in
Appdata/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/*.default/Mail/Local Folders/
As long as you do not overwrite, you can copy and paste whole folder trees into local folders (stuff on your old computer under a mail account is best relocated to local folder and then sorted as necessary afterwards.
Note that you should delete foldertree.json after making those sorts of copies (it forces a full refresh of the folder tree, no cache) and under no circumstances copy data with Thunderbird running. It can irrevocably corrupt things

Iphone 4 how can i select all mail in my inbox ?

I have a new i phone 4 with the iOS version 4.3.5, when i'm in my inbox of my account, i just can select one by one and delete my message only one at a time. But i have a lot messages, his there a way to check all message when i click on 'Edit'' ??

I know someone will chip in that there is a place to suggest enhancements for iOS devices ( and that this isn't it )..but this would be a nice feature..to be able to select multiple emails...the Blackberry may be a crummy camera and music player, but at least you can select and delete multiple emails.....

No, incorrect. The inbox is an *off line* folder, just as it is on a computer. Once you download the email from the server, it is in your iPod/computer and you can access it when you like.

I have Imac (OSX10.6.8) and 6 days of emails that were in my inbox have disappeared. They've also gone from gmail server and my back up hard drive. But if I look at "All Mail" on my Iphone the emails are there!! Have I got settings wrong somewhere?

I would not use iTunes Match as a backup. There are too many bugs and I don't think that's what they intended it to be anyway. The main advantage of using it is to make your music available on OTHER devices, not to replace the music on your original computer.
