Music isn't appearing correctly.

Under my music playlist, some of my songs will begin to randomly go under the "#" alphabetically. For example, I have a song that start with the letter "M" and it appears under the "#" section. How do I get it back under "M"? I have unsynced all my music and resynced it, and it temporarily fixes it, but after while they start reappearing under the "#".

You must have something filled in under the "album" tag.

Imported music isn't appearing

Hi,
I'm not sure whether this is a problem with iTunes, or my iPhone.
I'm running an iPhone 4S on OS 7.0.4, and iTunes 11.1.3.
Importing music to my phone is fine, except for this one particular album, for some reason.
It's a 'best of' album, including two discs, each with nine tracks - so 18 tracks total.
When I click and drag to import them to my phone, everything shows up as normal... iTunes says it's transferring 18 tracks.
But then when the process is complete, and I go to the album on my phone, only the first disc's 9 tracks are visible.
I've tried deleting the tracks from my phone and putting them back on a few times, but each time the second disc's tracks aren't appearing.
I have around 650MB spare on my iPhone, so it's not that...
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Un-sync all your music to remove it from the device, then restart (hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go). Now re-sync your music.

iCloud doesn't sync you music library unless you subscribe to iTunes Match. If you're talking about the ability to download music purchased from the iTunes store, that can be done as discussed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519. (This doesn't require an iCloud account. The music is redownloaded from the iTunes store, not your personal iCloud account.)

My music isn't appearing properly on my ipod

Can someone PLEASE help me. I just got bought an ipod nano. I had tons of songs on my hard drive and loaded them into itunes then edited them all so that everything under the "Get Info" button was filled in properly(i.e. Artist, Song, Album, Genre). When I sync my itunes library on to my ipod they aren't appearing right! Many of the songs that are on the ipod arent appearing under the artists' names. If I go to search by songs I can find them all but it makes it alot more difficult to find all of the songs for a particular artist. Does anyone know why this might be happening and how I can fix the situation. This is FRUSTRATING.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Restart the device.
Restore as New.
Might also be a good idea to contact the carrier just to verify there are no account issues.

Appearane of 'Music' functions (I>> > II <<I, plus volume slider) on the lock/log in screen (when first turning on the iPhone) thus far seems without pattern, i.e. regardless of which if any applications are up in the background, and indeed even when all have been quit.
All visual aspects of 'Music' appear normal after launch including the title scroll across the top in vertical mode. However, while pressing play (>) converts the play (>) icon to pause (II), selected song does not play and the elapsed time bar (upper end between the track count and the repeat/shuffle icons) remains stationary at 0:00 or at any point to which it is dragged. When using home sharing this same problem persists regardless of what output is selected.
Hope that may prompt a thought somewhere.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

The guy at att told me that icloud would sync everything i had in my notes, calendar, and text messages to my new phone, but it only synced some of my notes, none of my messages, or calendar info.

Your music will only be where you put it. It will not magically appear on a new computer.
Copy everything from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.
If for some reason you cannot do this, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an iphone: Without syncing - File>Transfer Purchases

IPad won't open iBooks - error message that book isn't formatted correctly, iPad is fully updated and I've tried deleting and reloading iBooks - only thing that has happened between when it used to work and now doesn't is that I took the iPad to singapore

iPad used to open iBooks purchased off iTunes no problems but since I took my iPad overseas on holiday it no longer opens iBooks - they appear to download ok but when I tap to open the book I get an error message saying the book isn't formatted correctly or is in a format that iBooks doesn't recognise. I have tried
- deleting and reloading iBooks
- making all updates have been done
- turning on and off airplane mode
And still have the problems

Ok, I got the 1.3/1.4 thing straight now. There was a java.exe in System32 that I now see the PATH was calling first.
And in the TextPad version of the problem, I was curious -- I don't remember setting the specification of the executable called by the Run Tool button, but I must have at some point. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it and it created a default button that apparently points to what it's supposed to point to, since it now works and runs my program OK.
Still, I wonder how it can be that explicitly directing the button to C:\j2sdk1.4.0\bin\java.exe makes TextPad's Command Results Window say "NoClassDefFoundError"
I'm up and working now, but if anyone has a clue I can learn from on the TextPad issue, thanks

ITunes not appearing correctly

I recently downloaded the latest version of iTunes onto my PC, running on Windows XP.
Once it was downloaded and installed I opened it and it doesn't appear correctly.
I can see images of albums, etc on the home page for the iTunes Store.
But I cannot see any links or text to be able to click 'buy'
Basically I can't do anything because I can't see any text or links to navigate through the iTunes store to buy new music.
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

That definitely sounds frustrating! Let's give this a go to see if we can isolate the issue futher:
First, connect your device and choose the "Music" tab. Next, uncheck the "Sync Music" checkbox, and apply the changes (so there is ultimately no music syncing to your iPhone).
Once you have done that, recheck the "Sync Music" checkbox, and apply the changes once more. This will instruct iTunes to completely remove all music from your iPhone, and then copy the files once more. If you have a large amount of music, this initial sync may take a while.

I'm afraid there is no easy solution. Your feed references the image correctly, and there is indeed an image at that address. The Store can sometimes be very slow to pick up images, even after the feed has been accepted, but since March does seem unreasonably long. However I notice that your podcast hasn't been updated since April 23rd: I don't know whether this could be an issue but it's possible that if you add an episode it might possibly kick the Store into taking notice.

Newly purchased music isn't displaying under Artists

Please help me-this is driving me crazy.
I recently downloaded some new music from iTunes. The music is displaying correctly in iTunes and I have synched my iPod. But on my iPod, the new music displays everywhere except under the Artist section. Why would this be?

There are usually two things that contribute to songs not appearing under Artist on the iPod, both due to information either in or missing from the Get Info>Info tab against the song in iTunes. 1) the song has no album name associated with it or 2) the song is marked as part of a compilation.
If tracks are missing an Album name in the Info tab, this information needs to be filled in. The no album one is a bit quirky as the songs will appear under certain circumstances but the simplest remedy is just add None or Miscellaneous in place of a title. Also if the tracks are ticked in the Get Info>Info tab as part of a compilation, they will not appear under Artist on the iPod. Highlight a song in iTunes that you know is not appearing correctly on your iPod. Right click on it and choose Get Info and click the Info tab (alternatively choose Get Info from the File menu), if "Part of a Compilation" is marked untick it and afterwards update your iPod, you should find it now appears as normal. Compilations are stored in a separate folder in iTunes so the songs don't appear inside the normal Artist>Album folder.

When I select to manually manage music on the summary tab and selected playlists on the music tab nothing changes. Either way all the music isn't on either device and the playlists are not on either device. Please advise next steps. Thank you.

Connect the device to the computer.
In iTunes, select the content desired to sync.
Sync.
This is all described in the User's Guide, reading it may be a good place to start.

Wallaby animation isn't working correctly after app update

Hi DPS fellows,
This afternoon I've updated my Adobe Content Viewer and all my wallaby animations began to work in a different way.
It's just fades in instead of doing the animation.
Most of them are just animated letters for a headline. The animations consist in each letter appear at different time, sometimes coming form right, some form left or from the top of the page, but after the updated, they just appear in a fade in. Before tha worked pretty fine.
Does anybody here knows how to solve that?
