Music Not Displaying In All My Files

Hi,
I have over 1300 songs in my iTunes library but when I open a new finder window and navigate to 'All My Files' only 53 files show up that are all in my Dropbox folders. I have checked the spotilght search privacy and my iTunes is not in the list for not searching. I imported my music from an external hard drive and straight into the automatically add to iTunes folder and downloaded a couple of hundred songs from the iTunes Store that I have purchased. None of these songs are showing up in the 'All My Files' section of the finder window

Because iPhoto (and I imagine Lightroom) makes copies of the photos you edit so you can always revert back to the original. All My Files searches for all files, regardless if the are duplicates.

Some fine line Graphics and shading are not displaying at all with OS X Yosemite

Our team is working on a new website layout. It is being developed in photoshop and then saved as a jpeg for review. All of the fine gray lines, boarders and some shading does not display at all. If I save a screen shot and mouse over to choose the screen shot all of the missing lines and shading appear correctly when holding down command-shift-4 to choose the screen shot. After the screen shot is chosen the saves screen shot still does not display the correct lines and shading. Anyone know what is going on? The jpegs are displaying correctly on my iphone and all other Mac Desktop operating systems.

So I returned the previous scanner and purchased the Epson Perfection V600 Photo. I'm still having the same problems and I downloaded the latest driver for it. I also downloaded the driver for my previous Canon Scanner before I returned it. It wasn't working the way I wanted it to work.
It wasn't the scanner after all but I do like the epson better. When I get it to scan, it's scans faster and has more resolution options.
Anyway
Basically I want to be able to scan in Photoshop CC but it's not working the way it used to in previous machines/OSs/photoshops.
I used to be able to go FILE>IMPORT>SCANNER NAME and then continually scan until I was finished. That is not the case and I have noticed it's a problem throughout when doing some research to fix it. I can scan continually if I got to my system preferences, select the "PRINTERS and SCANNERS" and then click "Open scanner".
In photoshop CC I can only get one scan and then I have to close photoshop if I want to do another scan. It's annoying knowing that I was able to in previous machines. Any solutions or plug-ins that I'm missing?

Unable to go any https site using FF and safari. Mac OS 10.6.7. Https sites are not displayed at all.

I was able to do all https sites before. Recently I have notied that whenever I go to any https site , the site is not displayed at all.
FF 4.0.1 and safari
e.g. go to www.skype.com and click on login link
can't login to FB
Can't display https://mail.yahoo.com
funny thing is I can't even go to http://www.apple.com
I get blank page and the browser keeps spinning.
Cleared all cache.
Pl. help.

Those sites display correctly provided they supply HTTPS. Which Yahoo does (HTTPS) and Apple doesn't on their main page (it's HTTP), but the forums here are HTTPS.
Go to your KeyChain Access.
Under Preferences > Certificates set the following
1: Best Attempt
2: Best Attempt
3: OCSP
Reboot the machine.
When you request a secure site it will check the certificates immediately instead of using Apple's outdated lists which require Apple to include them in a Software Update.
If someone is using these outdates certificates maliciously then that's likely the problem.
Also install the HTTPS Everywhere Add-on for Firefox, to ask websites to provide HTTPS. They always can't do it because of third party unencrypted content.
Also when that's finished. Run all the cleaning and maintenance aspects of the free OnyX and reboot (you can cancel reboots in between jobs)
Does a good job of cleaning out gremlins.

Pdfs and screenshots opened in Photoshop are appearing pixelated, or not displaying at all.

Hi. I'm on a new iMac system. (iMac 27" retina - Yosemite OS X 10.10).
Whenever I take a screenshot and open it up in Photoshop by using File/Open and locating the screenshot, it is appearing pixelated.
The same thing is occurring when I try to open a pdf, or the pdf doesn't appear at all.
Here is a saved photoshop file (jpg) of how a screenshot is appearing in Photoshop. I just took a screenshot of this page for the purposes of this exercise. Other screenshots appear even more pixelated.
The only reason I am opening screenshots in Photoshop is to crop them before posting anywhere or sending to anyone.
I'm selecting 'use the embedded profile (instead of the working space).
I'd attach the image of how a pdf is appearing in Photoshop but it is not displaying anything at the moment. A file does open to the right shape/size of the pdf but it appears blank.
I'm using File/Open locating the pdf file, I click OPEN, the specs I put in are: 300dpi, Select: Page1, Anti-aliased is ticked, Crop to Bounding Box, width: 19.8cm, height 8.8cm, contain proportions is ticked, 300dpi per inch, fit page, Bid depth: 8 bit, CMYK, Thumbnail size: Fit Page.
Which is everything I used to do on my old Mac, and which worked perfectly, but not working now. Wondering if it's a bug or if I'm missing something in Photoshop, due to it being an upgraded Photoshop version (CC2014).
This is how the pdf file of an advertisement I need to insert into a brochure appears in photoshop. If I open it again, it will again render differently.
Btw, the screenshot or the pdf file previews fine when about to open it (in the Finder/folder).

Images not displayed at all in Lightroom 1.4.1

Hi,
I have recently had a problem with Lightroom where all the images are not displayed. The grey tiles are displayed with the filename and the keywords all show up in the right menu however I cannot see any of the images in any module. Also the grid view is random (i.e. not a grid) just shows a blank tile whereever the mouse is. The original image files are OK and can be read in Windows and other applications. The lightroom edits are obviously missing.
This happens with my live database, with a previous backup so I am thinking it is not a corrupt catalog. Unless opening backup catalogs causes them to be corrupted.
I have uninstalled and re-installed, tried version 1.3.1, 1.4 and 1.4.1 with the same results.
The only recent change to the setup was that I imported all my historical images to lightroom. These are archived as DNG and this took me to >10000 images.
The problem occurs with CR2 (Canon 400D and 40D) JPG and DNG images. I have not tried any other formats.
This is causing me a major problem as I have clients waiting for their images so a fast response would be great. For Adobe's benefit - I was going to purchase LR2 but the reviews said it was slower and now I have this issue I am seriously considering using another application.

Why do certain Pages and Numbers files not appear in All My Files

I don't know if this is associated with Yosemite or not. But some time ago, I noticed files I use a lot no longer show up in All My Files in Finder. Whenever I want to open them I have to find them in Finder because they are no longer showing up as a recent file.
Any ideas why? I can't find any settings that seem to influence this.

Recent builds of iTunes seem to have an occasional problem where the main music section doesn't always list all the music that has been added to the library. Create a smart playlist with the name of one of the albums and you should find that the media is actually present. Often adding some more media seems to fix things. Downloading the iTunes Free Single of the Week has a good success rate.
Alternatively you could try closing iTunes, then removing the hidden file sentinel from inside the main iTunes folder and restarting. This will cause iTunes to run a consistency check on the database which should sort out any anomalies.
BTW I had a clue from another thread that the "missing" tracks might be listed in the Unknown Artist/Unknown Album area at the bottom of the listings. Would you mind taking a look to see if you see the same?

Explain plan not displayed in sql trace file

I don't understand why in sql trace file, after tkprof transformation, for several queries the explain plan is displayed and for several queries, no explain plan is displayed.
How can I have the explain plan for all queries?

Was this a trace started on an already running task? Was the trace stopped before the task completed? Did the trace file reach its set size limit before the task compled?
In all three cases above you would have cursors that were not closed and stats information not written to the trace file resulting in incomplete data for some SQL.

Album artwork not displaying for all albums in Coverflow view

Very interesting problem I'm having. All of my music has album artwork assigned to it and can clearly be seen in the preview pane at the bottom left of the iTunes window. However, not all the albums show up in the new Coverflow feature in iTunes 7. I've been trying to figure out what might be different about these images that would cause them to not show up. Also, the albums that don't show up in Coverflow view don't show up on my iPod nano either; all the other ones are fine though. Any ideas?

I'm experiencing the same. It is funny, I can definitely not see something the displayed (or not displayed) graphics have in common. Some were fetched from the iTS, some bought from iTS, some fetched from other locations ...
At first I thought that it might be because of my old but brave little iBook, but if you see the same on an G4, this is probably not the reason.
My library is on an external hard drive connected via FireWire, and it is quite big (almost 15,000 tracks).

Music not displayed

I have recently moved my music folder from my work network to my local drive. I then logged in locally and downloaded some music. I have now logged into the network and although the music is in the right place, it is not displayed in iTunes. What should I do?

I assume you mean you have a 635 ..
Music can be put anywhere on the phone and it will be found. It's likely the tracks are in a format not supported by the default app like FLAC. Can you let us know what format the tracks are in?
Supported formats for audio are:
3G2, AAC, AAC LC, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, HE-AAC v1, HE-AAC v2, M4A, MP3, MP4, WMA 10 Pro
Try MOLIPLAYER from the store and see it that will find and play the files.

TA21328 Safari will not display or open PDF files. Unable to view imovies

I resently had a new hard drive installed by the Apple store and they installed Snow Lepard which was my provious OS. I did restore all my files using My Passport Studio and everything what fine except for two things. I cannot open PDF files through Safari and I am not able to view any of my imovies.

If you have them, you might want to delete either or both of the below mentioned files from the following location “/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/” and install Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat again. Reader and Acrobat have preference items for whether to use them to manage PDFs in Safari.

Do you have some iMovie project files in iMovie Events and iMovie Projects in your Home folder's Movies folder? Those might be where your "imovies" are. If you did have some, but don't now, then they may be the items you need to restore from a backup. Other than that, I'm not sure what you mean by "imovies", so can you include the steps you take to view "imovies" in a reply, please? Thanks.

Dimension name is not displayed when all dimvals are selected

I have a dimension Price Range diemnsion which is multiselect Or. If I select all dimVals of Price Range the Price range is still displayed in left side of jspref application.
We have another dimensions Ad Feature which is also multiselect Or. If I select all dimVals of Ad Feature the Ad Feature is is not displayed in left side of jspref application.
Please let me know why is the difference and what needs to be done so that Ad Feature is also displayed even I select all dimVals of Ad Feature diemnsion.

This is a normal Endeca behavior where when there are no more refinements, then the dimension wouldnt be available in the queryresult object. However the selected dimension details should be available in the descriptor dimension object from where the dimension name could be obtained and shown in UI.

Finder is not displaying some folders and files

Most folders and files are displaying properly, but some are missing. I can find them by typing their names into the search window, but they are not displaying automatically in Finder.

Please look for MS-SMB_ServerUserGuide.docx file in the folder where you extracted MS-SMB.zip file and refer section 'Configure the SUT' for configuring SUT. Follow other relevant sections of this document to configure client as well.
Domain is not a requirement for running SMB test suite, hence, if you are in workgroup environment just ignore domain values in the
ParamConfig.xml
file.

Mac OS X 10.6 with Firefox 30. Issues with LI Dropdown menus. Menus do not display at all.

We have a horizontal navigation menu in our application. The dropdowns are constructed using a UI LI menu. This used to work in all browsers up until a few days ago. Now the dropdown will not display. Only the top level menu. The user has Mac OS X Server V10.6 Snow Leopard.

Did you check the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) for error messages about this issue?
Is this done via CSS or via JavaScript?
The first to try is usually to clear the cache and cookies from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

SSAS Cube Measures will not display for all associated dimensions in Excel client

Can you please clarify the below query to me?
I have one Calculated Member CM1 and the expression used to calculate is:
([Dimension1].[HierarchyName1].CURRENTMEMBER.Prevmember,[Measures].[Amount]) associated to a Measure Group MG1.
Dimension1 is having two Hierarchies HierarchyName1 and HierarchyName2.
Measure CM1 is used to Calculate another calculated Member CM2 along with other Non Calculated measures and associated to the same Measure Group MG1.
And the Measure Group MG1 is linked to other dimensions, Dimension2 and dimension3 as well.
When I query the cube in Excel Client for the measure CM2, values appears only when the dimension Dimension1.HierarchyName1 is used to view the results.
And values do not appear:
When I do not use any dimensions (Only CM2 used to display in the excel)
When I use Other dimensions linked i.e. Dimension2 and dimension3
And Also does not display any values if the CM2 is used along with other hierarchy of same dimension1 i.e. HierarchyName2
I don understand this concept OR Is this the concept how the tuples work in SSAS MDX?
If a Calculated measure is created using a one of Dimension member, cannot we view that measure value along with other dimensions linked or when we do not use any dimension to view the results in excel?
Can you please help me to understand this.

As you explained CM2 depends on CM1.
The dependency for CM1 is "[Dimension1].[HierarchyName1].CURRENTMEMBER.Prevmember".
So to get value for CM1 you need to bring HierarcyName1.
So for CM2 also HierarcyName1
has to be used only then the data will be visible. When HierarcyName1 is used you can play with
the combinations of other dimension as well .
