Music not downloaded to iPod

I have a similar problem : Ipod Classic (late 2009) with OSX 10.4.11
I loaded a CD onto my Mac and set ipod to sync. App froze. After reset, restart, restore of ipod and restart of Mac I am left with an ipod that is wiped clean and WILL sync on my Toshiba laptop but that's not where my music is!
I am not able to update my Mac to update to the most current version of ITunes.
I am still trying to figure out why the PC laptop itunes syncs but not the Mac.
Please help me out

Pre-order Failure - Music not downloading.

I pre-ordered Lana Del Rey's new album Ultraviolence back in May and it was due for release today on 16th June in the UK. It turns out that when the release date had been reached the album didn't download and will not download. On my iTunes on my iPhone next to every song there is a sign that says purchased however the song has not downloaded as is unable to play. In my music library, there is the option to "complete" the album which will cost me a further £10.99. How do I get the music to actually download rather than having fades out "purchased" signs everywhere. It's extremely frustrating especially since it's a pre-order. (In the purchased area of iTunes it shows the album as being purchased)

Look under the Store menu in iTunes for the "Check for available downloads" command and select that. You may find the track there to be downloaded. If not, check the Purchases area of the iTunes Store and you may be able to download the missing tracks there:

New Storage Check setting not working - Lumia 920

I received the new update yesterday but the new "Storage Check" doesn't work. I see it in settings but when I click on it it looks like it is going to do something (page flip animation) but then it goes right back to the settings. Does anyone have this issue or know how to fix it? I have done a soft reset and turned it off a few times. I do not want to do a hard reset because I recently did this and I have the phone the way I like it.

As reported by others, I have the same problem. My ''storage check'' option is not working at all!
It keeps on loading.
What to do?? Please help!

HT201272 Music not downloading properly, unable to redownload

Some of the songs on a recently purchased album did not download properly and I was not able to re-download them because they are not in the cloud. What can I do?

By not in the cloud do you mean that the album doesn't show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage for redownloading, or that it shows there (possibly under the 'all' heading, not 'not in my library') but doesn't have the cloud symbol for redownloading ? If the latter then try deleting the problem tracks from your iTunes library and they should then get the cloud symbol against those tracks in songs view in the Purchased link.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if that album doesn't show then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

Music not downloading correctly

I Just got the new iPod Touch 5, but some of the music isnt downloading. the name of the songs are showing up in a light gray font but when I touch it, it doesnt play the song. This is happening to about 1/4 of my 300 songs. What should I do?

Try doing one song by itself and see if it works.

My iPhone will not play any music not download from iTunes

Not even music ripped from CD's I own. Deleting, re-installing or re-syncing does not help.
When I try to play any song from my library, iTunes fast-forwards at breakneck speed through the songs until it finds one it approves of. (Including the F****** U2 album I neither wanted or downloaded.) I've tried deleting and re-synching, deleting and restoring from back ups in iCloud and from my laptop bot nothing helps.
When I choose 'Get Info' on the tracks that won't play they are described as 'AAC Audio Files', hose that will play are described as 'Purchased AAC Audio Files'.
My wife purchased an iPhone 6 on the same day, she has no such problems with her purchased and ripped tracks.

Well that was a complete waste of time. Thanks for nothing guys.

Streaming music & not downloading

Does anyone know if there is a way of streaming music from my iCloud account to my iPhone 3GS rather than it downloading when I want to play it, as I have very little memory left on my phone, and each time I want to play it takes up more memory. Thanks in advance

If someone wants your song they'll get it. There's always a way to capture whatever is available online. Best deterrent is to use a Flash player instead of QT. Not directly available through iWeb you'd have to search to find out how. However as mentioned before if someone wants the song they'll get it. One can easily capture the song played through a Flash player not as easy as clicking a link to download the song but obtainable none-the-less.

My computer crashed, and I lost everything, includingmmovies and music not downloaded in I-tunes...what do I need to do to preserve these files when I upgrade to IOS 5 with the cloud service (I-pad 2)

I had a computer hard drive crash, and lost everything, including music and video I had transferred to my I-Pad 2 from other sources. The upgrade to the current OS warns me that I will lose all non-Apple downloads when I upgrade. I have lots of non-Apple music and videos that I cannot replace. What do I do????

Betsy, the place to look for the conduit settings is not in Palm Desktop, but in the HotSync Manager. This is found in the little Hotsync icon in the bottom right tool tray of your computer.
Click on it, choose Settings, then Applications. Highlight the conduit you wish to change, then click the "Configure" button. Choose the direction you wish. Don't click the "Default" button, or this will be the direction that will occur every time.

ITunes Store music not downloading once purchased

I purchased some music on the iTunes Store on my iPhone and it will not let me download the music.
Please help!

Sorry but no, there isn't. By demand of the content owners, you can use only the iTunes Store of your country of residence.
Who decides which artists get included in the different itunes stores?
Whoever holds the distribution rights to that artist/music for a given country.

Transferring music not downloaded from intunes back to itunes from my ipod

I recently had a hard drive crash. I lost all my music and photos. They are on my ipod touch though. I was able to transfer the music I purchased from itunes but most of my music isn't from itunes as well as my photos. I was going to try manually restoring the music or using a program to help me but when I open my ipod touch folder the only files that show up are DCIM and then 100Apple and 999Apple. I cannot find any other folders even when I allow hidden folders. Does anyone know why I can't find my music or photos folders or if they are even supposed to be there? Is there a way to retrieve my music and photos and put them back on my computer?

I found this program which costs $10 but it was able to restore my files.

Nokia Music - Lumia 920 problems

Hello everyone!
I got the Lumia 920 (AT&T) and a Lumia 820. For some reason when I first opened Nokia Music it worked fine. But a short time later, it no longer shows the mixed radio.
Why is that?
As far as I know it is available in the US.

im having the same problem im signed into my nokia as well as microsoft acount n i did played the mixes once but now after some time i dnt have that option only 2 option my music n settings
i uninstalled n reintalled a couple of times including restarting the phone n still cant get it to work it is working on Lumia 521 but im having serious problem with nokia music on my lumia 920 at&t

Bass output of Lumia 920 quite weak

I had a Nokia X6 earlier, which produced excellent music quality with deep bass. I do like my music to be bass heavy, and usually adjust the equalizers in such a way. Later I purchased a Lumia 800, which unfotunately had no equalizer (hence very poor bass) which was a real deal breaker for me, although it had other cool features. So I used my old X6 for music, and the Lumia 800 fro everything else. But it was cumbersome to carry two handsets, so yesterday I puchased the Lumia 920 only because it supports and equalizer which lets me adjust the bass. I realized that the music output on Lumia 920 is better than Lumia 800, but still not up to my old X6. I fiddled with the equalizer settings, but the bass just lacks the 'punch'. The Dolby effect is a nice little feature, but still I'm somehow not comfortable with the bass output. And yeah, I know that the bundled headset is of really poor quality, so I'm using a high end JBL pair of headphones (I used the same one with my X6 as well). I tested the sound output with the same set of tracks I used on the X6 and also the same pair of headphones. I really miss the rich, deep bass of the X6. My only intention of spending so much on Lumia 920 was to get better music quality with better bass output. Am I missing something something here, or is Lumia 920's bass really weak? If so, is there any alternate music player which I can download, so that it produces powerful bass? Please help me out. Thank you.

I'm sorry but none of the Lumia phones are particularly good in music playback quality. The 920/820 are miles ahead of the 900/800 but still pales against the competition. From my experience the old Nokia N8 is very good, the N9 loses slightly but is still good, the Galaxy S3 is outstanding, the Galaxy S2 is mediocre and iphones (any model) won't disappoint. The Nokia X6 is built for sound so I'm not surprised that you find the 920 a downgrade in sound quality. As you've discovered an equalizer is not going to compensate for deficient sound. Quantity of bass is not equal to quality. If music playback is important to you I suggest look elsewhere.

Thanks Gary for your reply, But its all hell process. previously i have samsung galaxy phone its very easy to create playlists of songs that i like. Nokia or windows sucks..... i am getting all unwanted songs when i added songs to add now playing and worst thing is i cannot delete unwanted songs from the playlist. Its all mess. and the worst thing is the volume control it is same for music and ringtone, if we reduce the sound while listening to songs it reduces the volume of the phone ringtone which leads to missed calls.
