Music on headset?

so, there is no music to bluetooth whatsoever? I bought the headset and was wondering if there isa way to get music to play through it. I know that the iphone doesnt support stereo bluetooth (bummer) but the fact that it wont play music to any bluetooth is just disappointing.

when you set your voicemail audio to headset it means that you are able to listen to your voicemail not from your phone but rather your bluetooth headset. To change your voicemail audio preferences go to phone from the home menu and then go to the voicemail button on the bottom right. Once there look to the top right and there is a buttom that says "audio". tap on that and then if you have your bluetooth headset paired it will be an option that pops up in the menu. Tap on that. Then go to your music and pick a song and it will play through your headset. The only problem is that it will also play through the speakers of your phone... Anyone know how to get it to play through your headset only and not the actual speaker of the phone?

In order to play music through the headset, it must support this particular profile, A2DP. You can check the specs on the headset to see if it does support that. Not all headsets that support phone calls will support music.

Cant start music from headset ios7

After installing ios7 I can´t start the music just by click the center button on the headset as i could before in earlier ios and iphones. Otherwise it works as it should but it is very annoying that I must either start the music app manually or ask siri to start the music.
Is there a setting I have forgotten or is it a feature?

I have the same problem. i plug my ipod into my computer and it says do not disconnect. then i select to update my ipod and it says do not disconnect again. then once that goes away, itunes says i have successfully updated my ipod. then i go to my ipod and there are no songs on it. im wondering if i am missing something because i was not able to use the disc to get itunes onto my computer so i downloaded itunes 6. ive had my ipod for almost 2 months and have not been able to use it!!!

Your 5610 is an S40 device, so, there's no Hard Reset procedure available, unlike S60 devices. Therefore, your unit needs attention from a Nokia Care Point technician.
Before you take it in, you can try turning it on without the memory card. Sometimes faulty memory cards can interfere with the normal functioning of a mobile phone.
The fault can be with the hardware, and you have no means to check if it really is that way. Therefore the best way out is to take it to the nearest Nokia Care Point.

Music through headset, voice chat through mbp speakers simultanously ...

I am using a micro$oft headset with mic - connects via usb. For some reason, when I am in Second Life (virtual world game) and want to use my mic, the voice audio always comes through the macbookpro external speakers while the music comes through the headset. In system preferences, the headset is selected for input and output. Any thoughts?

Thanks for your input. The preference settings for SL are marked as "default" which for audio is "speakers," with no other option available. As I noted earlier, in System Preferences the headset is the designated sound agent. I just find it curious that that the headphones capture the music audio but not the voice audio. I will keep trying to sort this, and will post back if/when I come across a solution. Thanks again!

Try plugging the headphones in and out several times.

X68GB- Problem in listening music through headset

Every time when i insert the headset i am getting a scratchy sound ( tak tak tak tak tak.....). Is any one facing the same problem? How to overcome ths problem? pls help...

Make sure your headphone jack is fully inserted into the phone. It needs to be pushed all the way in (until you hear a click). Also when fully inserted an headphone symbol should appear in the top right hand corner of the screen.
A number of people when inserting the headphone into the phone do not push it in far enough and that is what causes noise problems.

Connecting speakers and headset together on Qosmio G30

My question is, if it is possible to use two different audio out on Qosmio G30. It has two connectors, but seems to be connected together. I want to use my Qosmio with virtual DJ, one audio channel for speakers and one for preparing music (for headset). I want to have one music on speakers and one on headset for better mixing.
Is this possible, or must I buy one more external audio card? Is this inside audio card two channels or not?

I have made follow test: Qosmio G30 connected to LCD TV. One headphone port connected to TV and second one to my headphones. On both sides I have had sound (the same music). After changing ports the sound was still there.
I can say follow: You can hear just the same music on both ports at the same time but if you want to use two different things I think you must buy some external solution.

If to connect both device, connect first device and for second device long press bluetooth button and see it appears in second device, it had solved the problem.

its possible you are hitting the menu button when inserting the headphones this has been common

Lumia 800 Freezes Again

My lumia 800 froze again.
On it's exact 2th month I brought my phone to Nokia Care for screen freeze issue, got it back after a week 20th July. I ask the one who handed me as to what fix they have applied, she said they have bring it to head office and changed its motherboard?..For 2 weeks it worked fine as brand new so my frustration was bit lifted.
Saturday last week 5th of August I updated my phone to:
OS version: 7.10.8773.98
Firmware: 1750.0805.8773.12220
For a week it worked fine, just today it freezes again. I was listening to MP3 music with headset on while reading mails then a FB message push notification appears so I go over it by tapping on the notification. It directed me to messaging app read the message and replied. I stayed on the app waiting for the reply then BOOM!!..screen freeze.
Before the screen freeze I set my Wifi on gone to Marketplace and download the app updates and been switching between apps.
Before update to 8773 I was on 8107 OS version. With 8107 I am doing above routine with no problem or screen freeze.
Additional details on my phone:
Hardware revision # : 112.1402.2.4
Radio software ver. : 1.7.50.08
Radio hardware ver. : 8225
Bootloader version : 7.41.0.0
Chip SOC ver. : 0.74.2.1

No sound for "click" or ipod sounds

Went to play music through speaker & it will not make sound. The phone rings, I can hear on it through earpeice & speaker in phone mode. I can hear the apps & music with headset, but not through speaker. Any ideas?????

The "silent ring button" is not turned on. I have reset it. When I use the up/down volumes, I only get the ringer volume signal, I don't remember if that is want was always there or not. You won't beleive this, but it just started making sounds, I reset it again after I got your reply, maybe it just takes a few minutes. Hopefully, this did it!! If it goes silent again, I'll be back.....

Can you provide us your phone model? One possible reason why the phone hangs is that there is not enough memory available to carry out phone functions. You can move your data files from phone to memory card (provided that your phone supports Memory Card). If still the same, you can try to restore the phone to its factory settings as indicated on your manual.
