can somebody tell me why music on hold is not working in CIPC cisco unifed ip communicator which i have installed in my network for users
i have configured a router CME to work voip for my network but MoH is not working music on hold is not working

but i have configured the multicast on the router and i have nothing did in switch only assigned voice vlan to interfaces and also data vlans to the interfaces so i need a step by step setup of moh can u provide that for me

Hi Ersin,
Exception 1 would seem to be FORMATTING_ERROR, which suggests something in the design of the Smartform. However, that doesn't fit with the form being generated from a report, but only erroring when called from a function module. I can think of no reason why the different calling method would be a factor.
When FORMATTING_ERROR is raise it should also set a message ID and number, are you able to determine what they are?

Music on Hold working correctly on incoming line on hold, but not working on another, hearing Tone on Hold instead

Hello, we are experiencing an issue where we have a local main number and a toll-free number both coming into the Cisco switch as PSTN incoming and routed to the same voice translation rule line. Two weeks ago we updated the Music on Hold (MOH) file in flash, first disabling the previous file. The new file appears exactly the same as the previous file, and we successfully set it through the CUCME portal. The new MOH file is playing correctly when a incoming user is put on hold when dialed in through the local main number. However, when a user has dialed in through our toll free number they are instead hearing a Tone on Hold beeping tone (I googled that multiple times to realize what it was we are hearing). Anyone have any ideas as to why or how it could be working on one incoming line but not the other and how to resolve?

Not sure how the Express works but on the CuCM you need to go into the administration pages and change the MoH file number there. I had this issue a few years back and changed the information there. I also made sure the router was setup correctly with the incoming lines. Make sure that the 800 number is not coming in on (1) T1 and the local numbers on a different T1, if you are using T's. If not make sure you WIC card is set correct for hold music.

Music player control buttons not working in locked screen as well as not from the bottom control panel

Music control like Play, Pause, Fwd etc not working from the bottom swipe up control screen, also not while the phone is locked. Please suggest

Ipod hold button not working

I sent my ipod to apple to get the battery replaced.
On receiving the ipod back i realised the hold button did not work and that the ipod was continuosly crashing when on the move and downloading songs from i tunes.
I contacted the support team thinking i could send it back under the 90 day gurantee (because it was apple who sent me the new ipod back), but because i purchased it 2004 they said I had to purchase some apple protection at £39.99, is this true?
Even though it was apple who sent me a brand new ipod back!!

Have you tried resetting or restoring the iPod?

"HOLD" functionality NOT working in Sourcing cockpit.

I have 2 issues:
1)
I am trying to hold requsitions in Sourcing cockpit but when I add them to Workarea and click " HOLD" button it doesn't do anything ( NO Messagee, Nothing) and when I check back in it still shows the requsition item in the scourcing cockpit not the hold status.
I think the Hold Functionality is not working properly...is thee any fix to it or any OSS Note.

We are facing a issue with the Vendor Text being getting copied from a catalog item to a Free Form item while the creation of shopping cart.
When I am creating a SC - say with 3 line items with 3rd line item as Freeform item and 1st and 2nd as catalog items then the vendor text is getting copied from the Catalog line items in to the Freeform line item.
So if two catalog line items are there then Vendor text gets copied twice in the Freeform Line item.
Is there any OSS note or any fix for this
Kindly advice.

Nano 4th gen hold switch not working

Hello. I just bought a used nano 4th gen on eBay. The hold switch is not working - the click wheel remains active and no lock icon appears in the upper right corner of the screen. It's on the latest firmware 1.04 and I've done a restore twice already.
The seller claims the hold switch did work before he sent it. Is there anything I can try to get it to work? It's out of warranty.

Pure Music software player is not working with iTunes 10.4 and Lion 10.7 playing wav. files.

Pure Music player from Channel D software will not work when playing wav. files after updating to Lion OS. I can open the application as usual but after playing one song it will not advance to the next track either on its own or manually. The scrolling track name goes dim and I cannot get the play button to respond. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Thanks Limnos, but unfortunately the same error still remains.
The disk was OK. Permissions had errors along the lines of groups should be 0, is 80. I repaired that. Tried again to open, then reinstalled (new download again), but again the same problem.
I checked permissions again and some of the 0-80 errors came again, but no clear reason from there I think
Was also a SUID warning on ARDAgent but I see online that doesn't appear to be something abnormal.
I tried reloading Lion but the installation came back with software appears to have been tampered with (I think the dmg file is gone as I couldn't find it). I then went to email to report a problem so I could download again but of course that whole process doesn't work because itunes wont open.
So Stuck
if there is anything else I might be missing?

MUSIC VIDEO -SURROUND SOUND NOT WORKING WITH 7.0

My surround sound 5.1 does not work with downloaded music video playblack on windows iTunes 7.0. It used to work before I updated to 7.0. At first, my surround sound would not work with 7.0 for any iTunes songs, not just downloaded videos. However, that was corrected with the version 7.0.1 update. However, surround sound still does not work on videos I am trying to play back. This includes music videos that I purchesed both before and after downloading iTunes update 7.0.1. Has anyone got any suggestions for how to fix this problem so that my surround sound 5.1 will work on playback of the music videos?

I have an Airport Express that is linked to my TV. It is interfaced to my Denon AVR. To get surround sound I had to just select the correct output option via the Denon. Then the speakers set up for SS would work.

Music, Podcast, Spotlight Search not working iOS 7

Since upgrading my iPhone 5 on Wednesday, I haven't been able to listen to music or podcasts, because when I open those apps, they crash within a minute. While I am able to access spotlight search, telling it to search does absolutely nothing. Is anyone else having these problems?

I am experiencing the same issue. My email accounts are fine. There is no issue with that. The issue appears to be between the Mail app and the Spotlight Search feature. If the Mail app is running then the spotlight search works fine. However, when the Mail app is closed it fails to work.
This is such a pain. I use the feature a TOn and to have it not work is a joke. I wish Apple would address all of the issue associated with iOs 5. Upgrading to a iPhone 4S along with iOS 5 has been a complete nightmate. I have seriously considered returing my phone and switching to an Android based phone. Apple is losing their edge by putting out shotty products coupled with poorly developed software.
Time is running short Apple. Fix the issues or you may have larger problems ahead.
It appears as if the operating system is becoming too complex for Apple to manage. The demise of the great phone and software combination if immenent. Apple reigh of supremecy is begining to diminish.

Lenovo G710 F1 - F12 keys hold down not working

Hi there I'm a new member of Lenovo forums,I use Levovo G710 notebook, have an interesting problem.After this post in MSDN forums that I created, I realize that laptop have some issues - while holding down pressed F1 or whatever F1 to F12 it not working continuously. What I mean? When you press and hold down some key form keyboard like "s" it will write "sssssss..." until you release the button. F1 - F12 are useful for me while using some IDE for development. I found this DEMO in jQuery site to explain my problem. Scroll down and go where writes "Demo. Write something:", open this in Firefox (in Chrome not working good). Click on the input box, press and hold down for example "Backspace" or "Escape" key. Below the button "Trigger the handler" you will see "...called (N) times" where "N" is increasing very fast. below you must see: " key: Backspace". If I try this with some of "F" keys that does nothing in Firefox like "F9", press and hold down - it only rise event once. Why ? But if I turn on "On-screen Keyboard" and press "Fn" to show "F" keys then click on F9 and hold it down, it works.Please try it and tell me is this is happening only on me or I'm not alone. I'm sure that hot keys option from BIOS has nothing with this topic (already tried). I didn't found common topic.Thanks for reading!

I found the solution, lol. It is so idiot, I just had to go to Dashboard&Exposé on System Preferences and associate the F buttons once again.

What do you mean by 'does not work' ? If you would like help from these user-to-user forums then more info would be useful.
Do they songs show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes ? If they do, but they don't have the cloud symbol against them for redownloading, then do you still have them listed in the Music part of your library (where you would click on them to play them) ? If you do then try deleting them from there and they should then get the cloud symbol against them in Purchased for redownloading.
If you are in a country where music can't be redownloaded,or if you've changed countries since buying them or they are no longer in your country's store (content providers occasionally remove their content), then you will need to copy them back from your backup of your downloads/library.

Purchase order on Hold is not working from Sales Order document

Hello gurus,
I'm detecting a problem that I have.
I have created a Sales Order and then, this document create a Purchase Requisition in automatic.
So, when I create the purchase order, adopting the purchase requisition, I want to save this as on Hold.
The problem is that the button "Hold" is missing.
But, if I create a purchase requisition and I register the sales order directly (account assignment "E") and then, I create the purchase order, adopting the purchase requisition, the button "Hold" is not missing.
I have active the BADI to Hold, but, it is only mention restrictions with Third Party and Services, not with Sales Order normal.
Could you help me please a.s.a.p.?

Enjoy purchase order can be put on hold or whether this function is to be
suppressed in accordance with your requirements.
In the standard system, this function is generally offered during the
creation of an Enjoy purchase order (transaction ME21N) and when a PO
that is on hold is changed (transaction ME22N).
Note
Enjoy purchase orders cannot be put on hold if any of the following
criteria apply:
o The PO contains service items
o The PO contains "third-party" items
o Commitment errors are involved
o Subsequent (period-end volume rebate) settlement is involved
In the case of stock transfers within a company code, the "Hold" function
is generally inactive. If an application object contains an error of any
kind, the function is likewise inactive.

The Musical Typing Keyboard is not working.

It was working before but now it is no longer working. You can see when I press the keys, but they will not make sound. The green bar that usually lights up when you press the keys is not working either.

No need to take the computer at this stage. Just take the keyboard into your local Apple store for examination. If you have another machine, not necessarily Apple, you could try the board on that or perhaps a friend's machine … they are largely universal.
You do not have a virus.
