Music on iPod app keeps jumping around

I have a 16GB wi-fi running the latest software. I managed to download my music ok onto the iPad after some issues with syncing, but now the music skips randomly through a song. It'll start at say 0:00 and play for 2 minutes before jumping to 4:00, then it'll play for 30-60 second before jumping back to where it jumped originally so it sounds like the songs have been cut and spliced together.
It's very annoying as it does it with every song whether it's off iTunes, YouTube or CD.
Does anyone know of a solution?

Screen keeps jumping around when I try to do my farming?

I love fire fox but my screen just keeps jumping around. For instance when I am trying to give gifts to my farmville neighbors. When I press send the whole screen will jump. It happens randomly. I can be listening to a song, it finishes and then theres no sound. The track doesn't actually start at all. When i say skips i dont mean is in the middle of the song and jumps. I mean the ipod switches to the next track.
Format - All my songs have been ripped from CD's or downloaded from I-Tunes. I cant find the file type, sorry.
I had a look on the link but the symptoms dont link to mine. It happens randomly, not when im cycling or moving the divece nescessarily.

After syncing my ipad 2 to itunes, i have no music in ipod app

initial syncing of ipad 2 transferred all my music to the ipod app. After syncing today, there is no music content in the ipod app. I have tried several times to sync, but no music appears in the ipod app. How do I fix this?

In followup. I tried syncing several times, still no music. I then changed the usb connection to the back of the computer, closed firewall and antivirus software. Sync went rapidly and now my music is back on the IPod app. One of the three (or all three) changes stopped the interference with the syncing. Will see what happens next time.

Why does my iPod app keep starting over from the beginning??

I have noticed lately that my iPod app seems to start over and play ALL songs on my phone from the beginning nearly every time I plug my phone into my car stereo.
I plug my phone into my car stereo and listen every day on my work commute. As such, it's very important that the music stay on the same position between the times when I'm in my car. For the most part it's been fine, even on 4.0.1, unless I rebooted the phone or did a spring board respring, or otherwise killed the iPod app from the multitask app list.
However this past week, it's been starting over from the beginning (I was playing songs from a playlist and it starts over from the beginning of ALL songs) nearly every single time I connect it to my car stereo. I have not been listening to the music between times in the car, nor have I even opened the iPod app or killed the process from the multitask bar.
This is absolutely maddening. No changes have been made to the phone in the past couple of months, other than a few App Store app updates here and there. This just started really being a problem in the past week. What could be causing this?

Dont have that problem but i have two tips:
1 Other ipod/iphone apps: they are often the problem, i had an alarm clock and that blocked the whole ipod app, so check if other apps dont use songs to wake up or anything else..
2 try to leave the ipod app trough the multitasking instead of pressing the home button?

Ipod restarts and jumps around in songs

When playing back songs both of the new (4th generation) I got for my kids for Christmas restart and jump around in the songs. The song will start playing and a random point it restarts then after playing a few seconds it might restart again or jump to another point in the song. It happens on any song played. We are using iTunes 10.5 and the i pods are up to date, the songs played (and still play correctly on their iPod Nanos, 5th generation) Resetting them doesn't make any difference! Any advice or help would be appreciated!

Macbook 10.6.8 the mouse keeps jumping around and also gets stuck and won't move at all, HELP

I have a macbook 10.6.8 and the mouse is malfunctioning. It is jumping around without me touching the trackpad, and then at times I can't move the mouse at all. Has this happenned to anyone and what do I do?

An irratic trackpad can be a symptom resulting from a swollen battery as these can expand then press upward toward the trackpad area and affect its function. If it is tight and ill-fitting, that may be the problem. These can open and leak stuff, too; so to see if an Apple Store genius or other expert can help determine that is the issue, and to get a replacement if it is, would be important.
Unplug AC before removing, be sure MacBook is shut down. If bad, leave it out.
Check the computer w/o battery to see if the trackpad issue changes.
Have you tried the computer with a USB mouse (if the battery looks OK when removed & inspected to see if the sides are flat when set against a table top) to see if the same kinds of odd behavior continue, even if you go into the Trackpad preference panel and have the input ignored in the settings?
I use a wired USB mouse with my MacBook but do not have the trackpad settings on ignore input. Mine does not have the original battery, and I do remove these on occasion and look in the compartment to check it.
And then there's this. Worth mentioning, but doesn't seem likely...

How do i move music off ipod app on the iphone3 onto my computer without losing it!?

i have been given an iphone 3 i want to update the ios or something but cant do that without using itunes. but if i snyc etc with itunes apparently the music that is on the iphone will dissappear and the music on the itunes will replace it. i dont want to lose the music that is on the ipod i want to move it onto a computer.

If any of the music on the iPhone was purchased from the iTunes Store, iTunes includes an option for transferring the music to your iTunes library but you must authorize your computer with the person's Apple ID and password with iTunes that purchased the music.
There are some 3rd party utilities that provide for transferring music from an iPhone that was not purchased from the iTunes Store.

Apple's Mail app keeps jumping away to a different message when syncing....

Its been an issue since iOS 5.x for me at least.
I use the Apple Mail app on my iPhone 4s, because simple is good enough. But has this very annoying tendancy to jump out of the message I'm looking at and pull up another old message in the message view, when it syncs with the various mailboxes. Always seems to jump to the same old message.
Any ideas why and how to get Apple to fix thier mail app? If thats not gonna happen, how do I remove Apple's mail app and point all things mail to a new app of my choosing?
My setup, I read several mail accounts via the Apple Mail app:
Gmail EXCHANGE connection ( my main mail account and listed first in the Mailboxes list)
Another gmail accout, connected as a gmail mail account
Hotmail account
When I'm reading (viewing) a message, and a new sync happens, Mail jumps out of the message I was looking at and pulls up an old message from the gmail (as a gmail connection) message (account #2 in the list above).
Its REALLY annoying. Syncing is fine, but DO NOT change what the user is viewing as you sync.. why would you?

Annoyingly still happening in iOS 6.1.3 to this day.
I'll be reading a message in my main Gmail account, and the Apple Mail app checks for mail and then just jumps to show a message in a completley different mail inbox account .. a message that is rather old even.
How is this desireable behavior ?
If someone upgraded to iOS 7.xx and found they had this problem but its since been fixed, please let us know here.

Lenovo a10 7600 apps keep moving around home page

Okay so this could be a silly one. Just bought an a10 7600 and so far, loving it. Apart from one thing. I organise my apps and folders. Very happy with them. Problem is any time I turn the pad off, when I turn it back on the apps and folders move around so they're jumbled. It's weird, it's not like they go into alphabetical or size order it's just totally random. I know it isn't the end of the world but it is annoying. Anyone got any advice please? Am I missing something? Thanks in advance. John

I think I have this figured out now... I have too many darned apps. My pages are all full. Rather than installing on a page that doesn't exist, it installs on the second page so it can be found. I combined a bunch of icons on my last page in a single group and then installed a new app. Lo and behold it installed on the last page. Does that sound like a reasonable explanation?

Apps keep jumping desktops?

Hello...
I recently upgraded to Mavricks from Snow Leapard and am having difficulty with assigning desktops.
I want my apps to stay in an assighned desktop. At the moment every time I click on an app in the dock it jumps to another space! So annoying and completly defeats the point of having desktops!
I have tried ctrl-clicking assighn to / this desktop. That doesn't make any difference.
Is there any other way of fixing apps to a desktop?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

In System Preferences > Mission Control, uncheck the box, 'Automatically rearrange Spaces based on most recent use.'

My mouse arrow keeps jumping around without me moving my mouse.

It does this both when I use my trackpad and my separate mouse.
It temporarily helps when I restart my computer.
It just frantically jumps about like it has a mind of its own.
Happens out of nowhere, someimes it will work fine for long periods of time, other times it just spazzes around.
Has been happening since at least March 26th.
