Music panel empty

My computer was stolen with installed premiere elements 12 on it. I bought a new computer and installed Elements on it from my disc. Second (and last possible) installation. Opened the program, everything seemed normal. However, Music panel on a toolbar where music and sound effects should be is empty.What to do now?

Thank you for the update with the good news that the Music Scores and Sound Effects finally appeared under the Music Tab of your Premiere Elements 12.
I have found the Content download concept applied to Premiere Elements 11 and 12 to be very disturbing.

It appears to go to its worse case when trying to get Music Scores and Sound Effects for the Music Tab.
If you have not already, please update 12 to the 12.1 Update via an opened project's Help Menu/Update. That would not be expected to have helped you with the Music Scores/Sound Effects matter, but it does get rid of the Text Styles issue that targets the Expert, not the Quick, workspace of 12.

PE13 where is the music panel

I cannot find the music panel in PE13 64 bit. That term is specifically used in the manual. I have an Audio dialog box, but no Music Panel. I wanted to try SmartSounds, but I can't get at them because I can't find the Music Panel. The manual tells me that I can open the Music Panel from the action bar, but there is no Music Panel option in the action bar drop-down.

There is no SmartSounds in Premiere Elements 12 or 13. There is Music Score which is like SmartSound in concept, but is not SmartSound.
In Premiere Elements 13 Expert workspace, look under the Audio Tab.
What you see above is a screenshot of Premiere Elements 13.1 which shows 3 choices instead of 2 under Audio Tab.
The new choice is Frequently Used.
Adobe updated 13 to 13.1 recently. You do the update from an opened project's Help Menu/Update.

Add On...how long ago did you install the program...there is a marked delay between the end of product install/activation
and the appearance of content under the Expert workspace Audio Tab. Answer is to wait...the content will show up
eventually automatically.

"Effects" panel empty/blank in CS6?

I am running Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 on Mac OS 10.9.3. Every time I open Adobe Premiere Pro, regardless of the project, the Effects Panel (not the control panel) is empty/blank. There is nothing typed in the search field, and if I do type something or click a type filter icon, the side bar for that panel appears and changes sizes. Creating a new Bin does nothing. Importing Preset does nothing.
From another user account, the effects panel appears normal, so the problem is user specific. I've already had to create another user account from scratch last time I had a problem with the program (instant crash while loading in splash screen), and I really would like to avoid doing this again. I've deleted preferences manually and by starting the program holding Shift+Alt. I've emptied the cache. I've repaired permissions. Same problem persists.

Did things one at a time before, but this time I repaired permissions, then Trashed the 2 Premiere .com preference files and the Premiere and the PProHeadless (the one thing I did not delete before) folders in Preferences>Adobe in the User Library. Trashed the User>Documents>Adobe>Premiere Folder. Then I manually deleted all the Cache folders. Doing it all (or some combination) seemed to do the trick. Effects now show in the panel.

Why is my properties panel empty on photoshop cc

Upon opening my properties panel it is empty. The tutorial I am doing shows the property panel with adjustments ie. Curves. How do I fix this?

Go to the top menu and click:
Window >> Adjustments

Sample Music folder empty

In Iphoto 6 slideshows, I had sample music to choose from. I had slideshows set up using that music. I deleted one of my slideshows and when I go into any remaining slideshows, or create a new one there are no items to choose from in my sample music folder. My old slideshows use the music that was selected when they were created, but there is no music listed in the sample music folder. I see the folder icon, but it appears to be empty. Is there a way to reload the sample music folder with the original default music? I looked in the trash and it is not there. I tried closing and reopening iphoto and no luck. Any suggestions?

Your hardri've may be failing. Did you do the Cleanup.Reboot on the player? If you haven't do so. Also be aware that you may not be able to retrieve the files on there. You can find how to access Recovery Mode for the cleanup here & don't meddle with the firmware option

Effect and Content Panel Empty

have iMac Intel Core i3 OS 10.6.6.
Bought Adope Photshop Elements Software with DVD, made full install, however the "Effect" and "Content" panels are empty.
No effects, no frames etc. to choose from!
Where is the stuff, how can I get it installed?

Go to your hard drive>library>Application Support>Adobe>Photoshop Elements>9.0>Locale>en_US (or wherever you are) and delete mediaDatabase.db3. The next time you start PSE don't do anything till the contents of the panels show up.
Note that you have 3 library folders: system>library, your username>library, and the one at the top level of your hard drive. You want the last one.

Aperture 3.5.1 Import panel empty after iTunes 11.2.1 security update

Just a coincidence?
When I installed the recent iTunes 11.2.1 (1) security update, that directly followed the combined MacOS X 10.9.3 / iTunes 10.2 update, I got a warning, that Aperture had to be quit before installing the update.
After relaunching Aperture the Aperture Import panel stopped working:
The fonts in list view were upside down:
The Toolbar was empty and only gradually items kept reappearing.
The File Chooser and the Import settings bricks were empty.
Aperture was hanging on "Loading Assets" and not very responsive.
Clicking onto the empty bricks did occasionally reveal a pop-up menu:
This problem seems to be fixed, after I trashed Preferences and Presets:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Aperture.plist
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Aperture
~/Library/Application Support/Aperture/Import Presets.plist
But I would like to know, if anybody else had similar problems with Aperture after the recent MacOS X 10.9.3 / iTunes 11.2.1 update.
SInce this iTunes update fixes a security issue it should not be skipped.

The problem was, that a broken file on my Desktop messed up the Import panel.
As soon as I add a certain empty PDF file with the name "119435-45-55 [6L].pdf" to my Desktop, strange things will happen with the Import panel on all three of my Macs running MacOS X 10.9.3 and Aperture 3.5.1. It took me a while to identify the file, because Aperture does show the filename as empty and does not show a preview.
The Import window will be messed up -
missing icons from the Toolbar and Import settings pane,
the File Chooser will be empty,
the busy indicator will show "Loading assets", and the Activity Window "Building Thumbnails"
The thumbnail of the corrupted file will be empty and the filename is showing as empty,
When I switch to list view, all text will be upside down as shown in my original post.
The problem is not caused by the brackets in the filename; if I rename the file, Aperture is still acting up. The file cannot be opened in Preview either.

Why are my Panels empty?

Hi. I am new to indesign.
My paragragh, character, effects and object styles panels are basically empty.
ie.... my character styles panel says only "none".
Do I need to load styles into those panels?
Have I done something wrong during install?

Try going to Window -> Type and Tables -> Character. That should give you a font dropdown, leading, kerning, etc.
If you go to Window -> Styles -> Character Styles, then you'll get an empty list. A style lets you group many different text characteristics (font, color, leading, etc.) and apply them all at once, by selecting one Character Style. In a new document, you won't have any styles - you have to make them yourself.

Music store empty after ios7

I updated last night and went to look for an album today only to find the music store App is totally voide of any content to brows purchse or otherwise. Big empty music store. Beyond frustrated that I tagged a song in the new itune radio on my iphone and cannot find it again to save my life anywhere on the phone.

Using iPhone 5. Strong LTE all other data works App store works as well no music store. I have logged out and back into my iTunes account, closed all apps, and restated the phone a couple times. Music store still empty. Nothing but blank screens in all options. Search returns no results for any music. Help!

ITunes Music Library Empty

I recently moved my library (by back up disk) from my desktop to laptop. Everything has been running fine for three weeks or longer. A couple of days ago I opened iTunes and it was empty. I am not sure why it would have deleted everything in the library. I do have the original back up disks but nothing that I had bought in the past couple of weeks has been backed up. What happened and is there any way to restore it??

Are all your songs still in the usual folder(s) on your computer? Try holding down the Shift key in Windows when launching iTunes 7. In the resulting dialogue you will get the option to create a new library or navigate to an existing one. The default location for your iTunes library is in C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\ (or C:\Username\Music\iTunes\ in Vista). Look in there and see if you have more than one library file (they have the extension .itl) If you have more than one try opening them in turn, you may find your original library is still intact: How to open an alternate iTunes Library file

Music Manager Empty Box

There's an empty box on the music manager next to the play, fast foward etc buttons. Any1 no what its for

If you mean to the right from Play button, that is place where you can insert album art and sync it to the phone.

System preference panel empty

Hello,
My system preference panel is empty except for "flip for mac"... not sure when that happened but it's recent, bought this new MBP15" two weeks ago.
I noticed the problem when I tried entering the Time Machine preferences through its top panel icon and this message came up: "Impossible to install the Time Machine preference" as it is installed already. MacOSX includes the Preferences window, which cannot be replaced"
Tried accessing general system preferences throughthe Apple menu and I get a window with only "FlipForMac"

Thank you Robin your detailed reply helped me to recover most of my pref panes which went missing slmehow. I could see them under another user, so you pointed me in exactly the direction I needed.

Is your iPod music list empty or blank in iTunes? Read inside.

I had a problem that at least a few other people on this board have complained about, and never could find a satisfactory answer on these forums and elsewhere. The full problem is as follows:
1. you plug your iPod in.
2. iTunes pops up
3. Under Devices->Music where the iPod icon is, the music list/library is blank or empty, even though you can access everything with no problem on the iPod itself.
4. Plugging iPod into other computers with iTunes has the same problem.
Here's a way to solve it without the extreme system-restore your-iPod-and-copy-everything-back-over "solution" (and I can't use those quotation marks sarcastically enough).
1. Close iTunes.
2. Open Windows Explorer.
3. Browse to whatever drive your iPod has been assigned.
4. Make sure "view hidden files" is checked in explorer, and browse to the hidden folder "X:\iPod_Control\iTunes" where X is the drive letter assigned to your iPod.
5. There you will see files called things like, "iTunesControl", "iTunesDB", "Temp File" and similar. In the "X:\iPod_Control\iTunes" create a directory called "oldITunesFiles" and drag the entire contents of the directory into the folder.*
6. Open iTunes. Volia! Itunes will rebuild your iTunesDB file and your music list will no longer be blank. Why wasn't this refresh functionality built into iTunes again?
* if something goes wrong, take the whole contents of the oldITunesFiles folder and put it back in X:\iPod_Control\iTunes.

HI. Yeah I had the same problem as you along with some others such as the ipod constantly disconnecting during upload. Unfortunately I live in the UK where we get ripped off on every type of consumer good and my Belkin card cost me £40 ($60-65).
I have 8 'onboard USBs' and my ipod wouldn't work with any of them! Very annoying but now, like you, I have a fully functional ipod and loving it.
