Music player for E6

Please, I am looking for other music player, more like the one in Symbian S60. I have tried TuneWiki but it looks tiny!
I really hate the music player for Anna. Nice looking but clumsy!

Clumsy? The music player according to my experience is everything than clumsy...maybe I missunderstand you here...?

Sure, Nokia should develop a built-in search function, but I don´t miss it cause I am more of streaming music over 3G (nokia internet radio and mecanto).
I think that the audio quality also is way better than I could dream of (as an old high fidelity fan). I was really surprise over this..

There is no setting in the iPhone to set another default music player. The default is Music. If you are using another application, you are at the mercy of how that application operates as far as what occurs when it stops or errors out. The car is looking for music to play.

Why did Apple destroy iTunes? Is there another music player for Mac.

I hate the new iTunes. Useless steps for navigation. They took something simple and complicated. Is there another music player for Mac. Unless I get the old iTunes back I'm done! I would use anything but this ridiculous player. How could they do this? Steve Jobs would never have let this happen.
Plus it's slow!!! Diffcult to burn CDs then find them. Yikes!!!!

iTunes works fine for me, and hasn't been "destroyed" by any means. If you can't deal with the new, simpler interface, just go to the View menu and select "Show Sidebar" and "Show Status Bar". iTunes 11 will then look much like the pervious versions did.

Better music player for pearl? & app sites

is there a better and free music player for the pearl than the one that comes installed? theres really nothing wrong with it, but would be nice to have options, like an equalizer for instance! also while im at it, Im new to the BB scene. would someone mind posting a couple websites that offers free and decently priced apps/games? Im not a big fan of just googling stuff like that, Id prefer word of mouth sites from ppl that have used them and are reliable. thanx!

I know that a few dependencies are already covered by others (as namcap reports them) but I left them all just to be "compatibile" with aqualung required and optional libraries list (check aqualung homepage for more info).
In this version gui skin chooser doesn't work (at least for me) - it can't see other skins. You can change the default skin to other (build and install aqualung-skins first) manually by changing it in the config file in your ~/.aqualung.
For fast start just run aqualung --output alsa (or oss or jack if you prefer). Jack is required always but it doesn't need to run if you are using only alsa/oss. More info on aqualung homepage.
...and for the future releases a cvs version pkgubild (no difference for now - the project is too fresh :-) but you can use it as a template)

when you connect your phone to software updater you can check if there is an update available whenever your connected to pc suite a message should come through that there is an update availalble when it arrives

I like my E51 apart from a few things.
One of the worst is that the music player will not remember the track position when you exit like every other MP3 player in the world.
Is there a 3rd party application I can use as a player that will remember the track position or is there a work around for the Nokia Music Player?
I've seen a few symbian music player and the cost is minimal compared to the hassle of having to scan 45 minutes through a mix because the damn phone won't keep the position.

I almost bought the E51 but in the end opted for the N78, and had the same problem you have. Music player forgets where it is in long mixes, audio books etc if you turn the phone or player off.
For the nseries the quick work around is to turn the file into a podcast, you do this by selecting the track, click options, song details, then set Library to Podcast.
Don't know if it'll work on the e51 but it is the same symbian version so I think it should.

High Quality music player for OSX Tiger

I am looking for some help :-
I have recently picked up a second hand imac g5, 1.8ghz, 2gb ram, 160gb hdd, runnning OSX Tiger
I am trying to find a decent music player, capable of playing alac & flac, up to 24/96khz
I have managed to find something called "Play" however, to me, its not that good
My second issue is how do I set the mac to out via USB in the music files native format, I have a variety of files range from flac/alac 16/44.1 up to 24/96
I kind find a setting in midi to change the output, however, that appears to just fix the output rate rather than play the native rate

I know how to play MP3s using Adobe Air, but I have no idea how can I possibly use the INTERNAL MUSIC PLAYER of iOS with Adobe Air? Is tha possible? Is there any native extentions for this purpose or some codes??

Actually I have no experience with Native extensions so far, even while I've developed some apps for Android and iOS using Adobe Flash CS6, that they happen all to have sound players as well.
The problem is, in my Apps (sample below) I have programmed the ability to let users Play / Pause / Stop (Navigate) the MP3s that will be downloaded from Internet based on their selection. as this player is NOT using the iOS native player, consequently, the main negative results are as follows:
- App does not catch downloaded mp3 files for offline use or if WIFI disconnected suddenly (unlike iOS player)
- in Lock screen, Users do not have access to the playback of sound.
- wireless FM transmitters or other kits used in cars, can not control the playback unlike iOS internal player.
Based on above discussion and your suggestion to use Native extentions, I just found this one:

Corrupted Music Player for Nokia 5233

Please help me find the software to restore my Nokia 5233 Music Player. It was corrupted by a virus when i downloaded an MP3 song from my desktop computer. I've already removed the said virus from my PC and mobile phone. Since then, everytime i tap the "All Songs" from the menu music library, this message suddenly appears on the screen of my mobile: "File is corrupted. Operation cancelled." Nothing happened when i restored it to factory setting.

I tried formatting again my mem card for the 2nd time, inserted it again into my phone card slot, switched ON my unit and verified its content by selecting Office>File Manager>Eroot dir of my mem card)>Installed Files.
I was very much surprised when i saw the "Piano Touch" application in drive Emem card). I haven't seen this kind of application before
Suspecting that it was a virus, i immediately removed it from the "Installed Files" folder using File Mgr.
Thanks a lot for the support and for advising me to use File Manager. Now, my Music Player is working well.

I think it wont have it until nokia makes a serious effort on N91.
rEASON:tHE n91 is made by a special music chipset and the music player of this set is not available.
but you can go to www.lonelycatgames.com and try LCG Jukebox and believe me it has 10 band equaliser and has more functionalities.
And AFAIK if you install it and plug a 3.5 mm standard headphone it would be really awsome.

I need a a music player for my flash site

I have a flash website, multi grooves as well as an rss 2.0
feed with mp3 files.
I want to embed a music player that can display all the music
entries in my rss feed and play them quickly (as opposed to that
quick time window that opens and waits for the whole mp3 file to

I found a flash player that I wanted to use but strangely it

I've wrote a tutorial a while ago, not exactly with an RSS
feed, but that could be easily converted to an RSS feed reader with

Sure, there are lots of things I can think, like changing the help that appear when typing just lxmc to be more unix-like, or when playing a song on lxmc, displaying on stderr the info of the mod. All this would be nice but in the end, they are just nice to have extras, you already did what I think was more importan Should I create feature request for them? But if you want an idea, I been thinking... since a mod is a series of sound samples and a "pattern" of how/when they should be played, it would be nice to be able to dump the sound samples to wav files and the pattern to a text file format. Now I'm aware that would be way more hard to implement, but if then was posible to reimport that text file with the samples (and they could be altered... or completly new) to a mod file... then you would have a text-based tracker creator. That would be so cool, a tracker creator using text files on all the unix tradition!
But again, I understand is way more easy to talk about it than actually create it.
