Music Player sound control

Hi everyone, All my apps are up to date, but some mp3 track does not allow me to control the sound.
I can see the volume control up and down but it doesn't affect the sound. I tried to go to configurations, remove the option of dinamic normalizer, clearAudio and nothing... I have the Xperia Z1, does anyone knows why that happens?

yes, app from Sonny. I tried to restart the phone, also to search updates and nothing.
It is very strange, I see the volume up and down but the sound does not changes. only happens in some tracks (always the same)... but i only use mp3 files.
It is hawfull because they r so lound... Haven't tried with other players, I only use this one.

Music player sound problem

My music player sound is very low I'm listening music and it suddenly got low volume and there is slight disturbance in sound

Hi @Jithu1 First I would run a backup of the device information: How to backup? Try performing a system repair using PC Companion. This will factory reset your phone and erase all data. You might need to
charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery. Make sure the device is not connected
to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3
times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device). Start PC
Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen
instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the
repair or reformat process. If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC
Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP. I hope can be useful. Best Regards,

The music player on control center on ipad2

Since I updated my ipad2 , i have gotten hang of most of the new functions , but then I am having some issue with the music player on the control centre , there Is the play button and next there. But then i can't play music when I press play, then even after I open the music app and play from there,it's playing , but I cannot next on the control centre also , in IOS 6 , I could just start from the control centre by pressing play without opening the music app , is it the IOS 7 issue or it's my iPad not working ? The rest is all fine but . Can someone help please .

yeah even i am facing the same issue. The sound works for some time and the moment i get happy that the issue is solved, the bingo no sound.
Its really frustrating i have to say and also i have noticed the over all volume of the ring tones has come down.

N95-1 Music player Volume control problems

I muted the music player recently by turning the volume all the way down via the side volume controls and now I'm unable to turn the volume back on or up. The up controls on the side of the phone seem to work, ie feel the click of the switch operate, but nothing happens? I'm able to listen through the headset HS-45 that comes with the phone but have no control over the phone/music/video via the AD-43 in either the Music or Video modes?. Haven't yet tried the phone functions via headset! can somebody throw some light onto these issue's - phone has been its firmware recently updated to the latest version via the Nokia web site without any problems in a hope of rectifying these issue's but no luck.

I have a similar problem. Recently upgraded to V21.
Stick with me here...
Firstly I noticed the volume keys on the side of the phone didn't work; couldn't turn music up/down nor did they work when I was on a call. The only way to adjust in call volume was to use the centre navi key.
Secondly; whenever this happens I also notice when the keys are locked that the message "Press Unlock to activate keypad" keeps appears on the screen without me pressing anything.
Finally this causes a battery drain. Massively increasing the power usage from 0.2w to well over 1w
This happens intermittently i.e. cant adjust volume for about a day then everything is fine again.
Yesterday I also noticed that when the above happens the music controls (multimedia keys) when the slider is down dont work, they dont pause, play, stop, fwd/rwd or launch the music player.
Any ideas?

Music player in control center doesn't work in iOS 7

I can't even use music player with pause, forward or anything in control center. If I wan't to skip to next song I have to slide the track till the end to go to next song.
And I can't even use my bluetooth control too.

Switch off and then switch on again solved the issue for me...

IOS/android - how to mute music player sound when playing app sound?

I am trying to achieve the following, in an app for iOS and Android devices:
My app contains information that, under certain circumstances, are being read to the user. If the user is playing music using f.i. iPod, i would want the external sound to fade down, read the info, then fade back up. I have seen (heard) this on apps such as RunKeeper, where voice feedback is 'superimposed' over existing media sound, which is faded down for the duration of the voice feedback.
i am using Adobe Air 3.9 sdk, using Sound, SoundChannel and SoundMixer with AudioPlaybackMode set to MEDIA, VOICE and AMBIENT.
When setting AudioPlaybackMode to VOICE, the background audio stops, yet there is no way of restarting it without activating ipod and hitting play....
Any pointers, be they to extensions or other resources, are greatly appreciated!

Bluetooth
Car stereos with Bluetooth may allow you to pair a device that can play calls or music through the car speakers. Ensure that your car stereo supports the A2DP Bluetooth profile before attempting to pair an iPod with it.
Note: iPhone can also connect using the HFP Bluetooth profile because it uses HFP to make phone calls through your stereo speakers. iPod devices do not have this protocol (because iPod devices aren't phones).
You can check for the A2DP Bluetooth profile by attempting to play music from your iPhone through your stereo speakers using Bluetooth. If calls route to the stereo speakers but music doesn't, it might not support A2DP. Contact the manufacturer or refer to your car stereo's user guide to see if your device is compatible.

How to turn off the music player on 4s

Hi Everyone, need your help with the Music player on 4s - I haven't been using iMusic until now, always just streaming music from Grooveshark or radio apps. A few days ago I downloaded one song from the iStore and now this happens - when I connect my iPhone to the Media system in my car, with Bluetooth, the music player takes control and all I can hear is this one song I have on the my iPhone. Whenever I try to switch to another music app (streaming radio), it plays for 2 secs and then player comes back. I can't turn that off. If I hit the pause button on the phone, it simply goes to mute and when I adjust the volume back, I get the same song again. How do I disable this music player? I don't know if it's the iPhone or the car system thing, but I couldn't find any option to stop the player from being the default.
If anybody had the same problem, please advise.

To close the Music App double-click the Home button and swipe up on the screen image of Music (in iOS 7).

Did you already reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.
If this does not help, try to set it up as new device, explained here:

Howdy. My Music player has stopped working, but regular sounds and iTunes samples still work?? Can anyone help.
Push the orange music button and the player opens, but when I push the play button nothing happens other than the pause icon comes up.
Both side volume and the onscreen volume read at full.

-restore ipod to latest ios if problems still happenes then it's a hardware problem nothing like a good old appointment at genuis bar would help.

If you are not getting any sound from the speaker, follow this article.
iPhone: No sound or distorted sound from speaker

Ensure that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack or the dock connector.
If the iPhone is in a protective case, make sure that the speaker port isn't blocked by the case.
Make sure that the speaker and dock port aren't clogged with debris. If necessary, clean it with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush. Carefully and gently brush away any debris.
If an audio issue occurs when using a specific application, try testing other applications to see if the issue persists.
If the iPhone is paired with a Bluetooth headset or car kit:
Try turning off Bluetooth.
If you experience difficulties with the Bluetooth feature, follow these troubleshooting steps.
Restart the iPhone.
If restarting doesn't fix the issue, ensure that your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS.
If the issue is not resolved, please contact Apple Support.

5.1 sound through headphones with music player?

5.1 works great through the headphones when you're watching a video on the net. Does not work when listening through the music player. I get an error message that says I need to turn the effects off. Ok..done what I can and still no luck. Oh yea, unplug the headphones and then try to press the 5.1 icon, and it says it can only operate in headphone mode. Any suggestions?

I'm not entirely sure what you did to turn off effects, but you'll need to...
1. stop playing your audio file
2. press menu
3. select more
4. select settings
5. select Equalizer
6. select Normal
7. press the back button (the looping arrow button)
8. select Effect
9. select Normal
That should do it. When you press the 5.1 button after doing that, you should get a slightly different sound that sounds more like 5.1.

I was totally depressed by you.My iphone 4s is having a problem with sound after updating to ios 7.0.3.No sound via music player. Some times i can hear sound but it is repeating same problem,suddenly sound disapears.I think it is the problem with the software ios 7.

Hello everyone, I am having the exact same issue. My charger stopped working following 7.0.3 upgrade. I since bought couple more charger (must admit one was definately counterfiet; and the other one what I believe to be genuine purchased from ebay). I even tried my friend's genuine apple charger that came with his 5s which is also not working.
What is the resolution?
