Music player that will play files from cloud?

I have more music than space for it on my iphone.
I'd like to move it to a cloud file (box) where I have 50 gigs free storage, but only if I can find a player that will play from the cloud and playlists without having the files resident on my phone.
Does anyone know of such a music player?

I didn't read very far. What is the licensing issue? I think the problem is that no one wants to invest the money in an application for TVs or smart BD players or whatever, that would allow them to emulate a hardware BD player. Yes, use of a codec could come with a licensing fee, but they have it for playing the files that require it.
No question for me that a menu/chapter selection option for such circumstances is warranted. But for now it seems based in a "computer" that then streams to the watching device.

App that will play slideshow from computer continuously on smart TV?

I have a slideshow that I would like to play on the TV in the lobby of my store. Is there an app that I can run from the back of house PC over wifi that will allow for a continuous loop of my slideshow? Initially, I made the slideshow on Keynote and exported it as a movie which the TV played off of a USB flash drive. However, the TV only allows FAT32 fornatted USBs, so the movie was limited to 4GB. I would like a movie or slideshow that will play continuously throughout the day without stopping. Is there any PC app that can accomplish this (and still allow the user to do business-as-usual on the computer while the app runs?)

Off Topic - Web music player that will work on an iPad / iWeb

After a bunch of other googling I figure someone on this forum would know the answer.
I'm looking for a way to embed a playlist into a iWeb page so it will play on the iPad/iPhone browser. Certainly I'm not the only person who wants to do this --- but I haven't had any luck figuring it out.

I want to create a "batch file" that will copy files from one folder into another, overwriting what is currently in there.

I've got a game that has a folder with Saved Games (Okay, it's Minecraft). I don't always have my external drives because I take my Mac Mini from my house to my friend's house and of course back after we finish playing.
There are times where I want a back up so that if something happens we can restore it as easily as possible.
What I've been doing is copying the particular saved game and pasting it to my desktop, replacing the new backup over the old backup. I'd like to be able to create a "batch file" so that I can just double-click on it and it will copy and paste overwriting the old version.
Since this is being automated I've been thinking. It would be nice to have 10 backups which I would like to have numbered from 1 to 10 (and not 0 to 9).
I'd like the batch file to delete backup 10 then rename backup 9 to 10 and 8 to 9 and so forth until backup 1 becomes backup 2 and then my live copy then gets copied to my desktop. I guess that one really doesn't need a number after it. It can have the exact same name.
Don't worry about automating the restore. I just want the backup part of it automated. I'm not a UNIX guy but I've tried to figure it out and it is just not working. So ... if someone out there can reply with a solution for me that would be great.
Extra credit for automatically compressing the backups with the built in compression utility so my backups use less space.

That is possible. An adjustment layer must be over a layer. The layer that it is over can have its visibility off but there needs to at least two layers in your (adjustment_layer.psd) file. For you can not have and adjustment layer without a layer to adjust.
Are all your PSD file the same in size x px by y px at z DPI?
It would be easy to create an action just to add the adjustment layer you want if your (adjustment_layer.psd) file adjustment layer, layer mask is a reveal all or hide all mask. You can Batch the action or use the Image processor script and have it include your action that add the adjustment layer you do not need to write a script.
I would also record that action to add the adjustment layer clipped to the layer below. There is a bug in CS4 and CS5 Action Player. Actions that have recorded adding adjustment layers to be applied to all layers below may play incorrectly. You will have to pay to get a fix for this bug for Adobe is not going to apply a fix the the current releases of Photoshop. The bug is so far slated to be fixed in CS6 time will tell.

After buying and downloading videos from itunes, how can I burn them to a DVD that will play in a standard DVD player? I have tried burning the playlist from itunes, and the disc would not play in anything I put it into.

Unfortunately, the recording & movie industry does not respect the rights of the people who make them money, and thus you can only use the paid-for content in ways they see fit. Even if I lived in a bunker where no one else could possibly see the movie I paid for, therefor I'm not 'sharing it illegally', I would still not be allowed in a blue moon to copy that movie to DVD for TV viewing. Someone will tell you to get an AppleTV. How about Apple give us one for free? Until this changes, people wanting to use their content in multiple locations will continue to download music & movies via torrents, legally or illegally.

The genuine Apple adapter works for me, most cheap knockoffs do not support sound ,it is usually in the micro print at bottom of the ebay offerring
It is pricey by comparison but it works and the knock offs usually don't pay the patent licence fee hence they guess the technology that is in the lightning plug

When loading pics to iphoto 11 from my camera, occassionaly it will include some video clips with the description of Movxxxx. I wonder if someone could direct me to some straight forward instructions as to how to transfer these video (movie) clips, which now exist in iphoto, to a dvd that will play on a dvd player as one might expect to see a video play, including the audio that was captured at the time of filming.

You need to open iMovie and it will have a event library called iPhoto Videos, click on that and the videos will load in the window next to it, then you make a new project in iMovie. Then open iDVD and make a new project then import the movies to the program then burn to a DVD..

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

First you will need a video DVD authoring applicaiton like iDVD. If you have iDVD export the slideshow out of iPhoto as a QT movie file via the Export button in the lower toolbar. For iPhoto 9.4.3 and earlier select Size = Medium or Large. For iPhoto 9.5 and later selct 480p.
Open iDVD, select a theme and drag the exported QT movie file into the open iDVD window being careful to avoid any drop zones.
Follow this workflow to help assure the best quality video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
If iDVD was not preinstalled on your Mac you'll have to obtain it by purchasing a copy of the iLife 09 disk from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com: ilife 09: Software or eBay.com. Why, because iDVD (and iWeb) was discontinued by Apple over a year ago.

I have so many videos on my old ipod and my two iphones. I need to get them onto a DVD that will play in my dvd player because they are all the videos I have of my kids when they were babies(bad I know!) So I bought iLife and have iDVD and a macbook pro laptop. Would anyone be willing to write step by step what i need to do to get them onto a DVD as I am very new to all the technology these days. Some themes will only allow 6 items per menu, including sub menus, others up to 10 I believe. Sub menus can always be added to add more movies to the project. All that's important is the total playing time of all of the movie files including the menus. A single layer DVD disc can hold up to 120 minutes of playing time. A double layered disk 240 minutes. In quicktime, I would try File -> Export -> Audio. It will create an audio file. Then drop it onto your playlist into iTunes. Burn the list from itunes with File -> Burn to disk and then select Audio CD.
If you have Quicktime 7 it should be easier and export to AIFF directly
