Music plays over phone call

I've had my revolution for a few days now and have run into an issue recently. Starting this evening whenever I get a call and answer it, music starts playing over the call. I deleted the track that was misbehaving and now another track plays in the deleted ones abcence. Help

When you mention that music plays over the call, I just want to be clear and ask if you mean music you have downloaded to the phone (songs), or do you mean the ringtone that played when the phone rings?
I have checked my resources and I also wanted to ask if you are using headphones when this happens? Does it happen on every call?
If you are using headphones when this happens, you are able to search the market for a headset blocker. If this is the issue you are having, the download will disable the music from playing when on a call.
Please post back with your results.

Hello
Tap the screen when playing a song and you should see playback options and tap the repeat until it is white. When it is blue it on repeat and if it has a 1 on it then it is repeating the same song over and over again.

Can i play my phone calls over my car speakers?

For some reason after installing my bluetooth I can hear my game sounds over my car stereo speakers. I've always wanted to be able to hear my phone calls over my speakers. Does anyone know if I can do this and if so, how do you set it up? Thanks.

Sure, if your car has the right features ...
My (and a lot of other) car(s), have a bluetooth pairing capability that includes a microphone in the car (ceiling).
So I can play music through the car speakers, and if a phone call comes in, the music will stop (iPhone feature) and once I answer the call (which I can do from pushbuttons on the steering wheel), I can talk (through the car's microphone) and hear (through the car's speakers).
Check out if your car is set up for this.

Music starts when phone call ends

Everytime I end a phone call music starts to play from my phone. Even if I had no music playing to begin with. How do I get this to stop?

If you are using a headset, it's possible you are ending the call and delivering a single click to the headset "call" button at the same time. That single, short click starts the music.
If that is not the case, try rebooting the phone: Hold the power home buttons down at the same time until you see the apple logo. Ignore the "slide to shut down" message.

Updated to 4.4 and now my Bluetooth 'studders' when listening to music and a phone call. Yes I have reset the phone and removed the battery.

I just updated my Note 3 to 4.4.2. Since then when I listen to music or make a call on my Bluetooth my music and calls 'studders' and has some type of 'drop-outs' during the music and calls. This was not the case prior to the update.
Yes, I have power down the phone. Yes, I have removed the battery and restarted the phone. My Bluetooth headset is an LG 730. I tried listening to music on my other Bluetooth devices and they also 'studders' and has drop-outs during calls and music. I connected with a wired headset and the 'studdering' disappeared.
Is there a way to revert back to the previous 4.3 version of Android. I use my phone extensively for business and drive with it. The law for my state requires 'hands free' usage of my phone.

Unfortunately, I was forced to do a factory Reset. This wiped the device to a new state.
Afterwards all Blue-tooth, wi-fi and calls operated fine.
I would advise that you notify your customers that they would most likely have to do a Factory Reset once they update their device.
All contacts, pictures, data and applications were either lost or had to be reinstalled.

Listening to music and answer phone calls

When i listen to music in the car connected by earphone output, when the phone rings, and i unplug the wire the phone call ends

if you leave the wire plugged in, you will be able to speak into the iPhone microphone on the bottom, and the phone audio will be continued through your car speakers. (this is what i am assuming will happen as i have listened to my iPhone through regular headphones, and when someone called me, they heard me through the iPhone mic since the headphones did not have a mic.)

No you can not, and it is done that way on purpose -- to make sure you don't share music with anyone else.

No, there's nothing wrong with it in all likelihood.
The single speaker is only 1mm across so you shouldn't expect a big volume - I assume you have turned up the loudspeaker volume ?

Last week I got a new Nokia Lumia 520. I've had iPhones for years, but since getting an iPad, though I'd have a change of phone.
Our Nissan Quasquai has a usb input which connects straigh to the head unit. I can plug my iPad straight into that usb port and it plays music through the car speakers, with the added bonus of being able to change tracks on the steering wheel.
However, an iPad is a chunky beast and when family are in the car its not practicle. So I thought I'd put some music on my Nokia and see if the same functionality is available. Unfortunatly when I connect it to the car through the usb stick, it plays from the phone speaker, not the car speakers.
Is there a setting I need to change within the phone, or is what I want to do just not possible? My next option is to play with a usb memory stick.

there isnt a setting that will allow that to happen.
the phone cannot play audio/video through the usb. it is for data transfer and charging only.
your cars radio integrates and controls your iStuff because it has the software integrated to allow for it.
if you have bluetooth, just connect your device to your car through bluetooth and play it that way.
my pioneer still allows me to pause, play, fwd, etc on my nokia that way. i just cannot go through the menu system.

Music plays upon ending call when music app not currently being used.

iPhone 5, with iOS 7.0.4. Randomly, when i hang up from a call, the Music app starts playing the song that I was listening to last. However, sometimes it has been a day or more since i was listening to the song. Very Annoying. What is Apples fix for this??

Same thing happens on an iPhone 6 running IOS 8.0.2, but only when using Bluetooth headset. Very irritating.

HT204387 I just updated my Iphone 4S to the new IOS. I have a sync sytem in my car that allows me to connect music and cell phone call through the vehicle. Since the update my phone is no longer finding the sync sytem to connect to.

I just updated my iphone 4s to the new ios update. My car is a sync system that connects through bluetooth. I go to my bluetooth setting to search for devices and it wont find any. I believed it to be that my car that was the problem; but my sister has the same update on her iphone and was able to connect to my car no problem. please help!!!

If you are experiencing difficulties with the connection between your stereo and device, disconnect the device, and then power cycle the stereo and your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. When the Home screen reappears, reconnect your device. If you cannot power cycle the stereo, turn the car off and then back on to allow the stereo to power off.

I`m totally agree with you kklot, volume level of 5530 xpressMUSIC (?) is a shame ... despite the terrible quality earphones provided with this model.
I feel cheated by nokia, i bought an XPRESS MUSIC because of my great love for music ... but i cant access my music from earphones, cant rewind or change a song .. (!)

ITunes doesn't return to full volume after a phone call

At work I use iTunes on a 32-bit Windows 7 machine. We use Microsoft Lync for phone calls.
My settings are set so that Windows reduces the volume of applications by 80% when I have a phone call. This works just fine. If I leave the music playing during the call, then when I finish the call, it will return to the normal volume.
However, if I pause iTunes during the call, then the volume does not return to normal, and I have to use the volume mixer to fix it. Is there a solution to this?

Anyone know how to have music play over, let's say 3 slides in Keynote 09?

The question, as posed, could be interpreted in many ways.
2 possible solutions:
- combine the elements into a single slide and use Build and Action transitions to present the visible, and have the audio (pre-recorded) also imbedded.
- create a separate slideshow of the sub-set, export it to a QT movie, then bring the movie into a single slide on the main presentation.
Solution 1 is probably best as there are problems with Keynote exporting to QT, depending on the characteristics of the slideshow. There are many other posts highlighting these problems.
A lot also depends on what you want as a final product - e.g. a presentation to deliver live and on stage? a movie to be distributed? Spend a few hours reading the postings of others. You'll find it to be a good investment.

Music skipping over wireless network.

This has not happened before. I just had to reset the network, but now all of the music played over airtunes skips and sounds terrible. I have an airport extreme base station extended by two airport expresses. It happens when it is played from any computer on the network, so it is a problem with the wireless. Also, this has not happened to me before, I am not sure why this is happening.

I have the same problem. I have an airport extreme (the older round one) base station running 5.7 firmware (latest rev). My network is a .11g one. I have 2 older airport expresses connected to that base station that work fine but I added a new airport express (802.11n) and playing through that one (and only that one) skips badly (actually distorts is a better word). I had to rollback the firmware on the new airport express to 7.3 since 7.3.1 rendered it inoperable, but even with 7.3 it still skips.
Oh, and I am running leopard too. All software is up to date.
I think it is a firmware issue on all the new airport expresses.
