Music purchased on iPhone will not transfer

I recently purchased an album on my iPhone and no matter what I do (have tried every transfer purchases menu I can see) the music still remains in the purchased file on my iPhone and will not transfer over to iTunes.
I have tried de-authorizing and re authorizing the computer to no avail. The album WILL NOT transfer over.
When I go into the purchased menu under my iPhone in the devices list the album is grayed out, but there.
Help?

Hi,
Make sure you are signing-in to the iTunes Store with the correct AppleID.
Try checking the iTunes Store purchases for the account as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2727
If you don't see the music, that you want to sync from the iPhone to iTunes, you may be signed in with another AppleID.
If you do see the music try to transfer the purchased content as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 ,

Unless the iPhone was purchased as unlocked very recently directly from an Apple Store (the only place in the US where unlocked iPhones are sold, and then only since June), which from the symptoms I doubt is the case, then it was locked to AT&T and jailbroken to make it work with an Irish cell carrier. Updating the operating system has now relocked the iPhone back to AT&T.
Only the cell carrier can institute an official unlock, one which will hold across updates of the operating system, and AT&T will not do so for any reason. All we can advise here is that you return the iPhone to your uncle and purchase an iPhone there in Ireland.

i manage my music and vids manually and have downloaded before since i owned an iphone.
i read that if i buy the same album from the music store i will not get charged twice? is that true?

In order for the Transfer Purchases to work, you need to be logged into the same iTunes ID on the computer that the purchased content on the iPhone was purchased under:

On the iPhone, when you purchase a song from the iTunes Store, what iTunes ID are you using?
If it is the same as the one on the computer, try the following:
Download the Free Single of the Week from the iTunes Store.
Play the song in iTunes on the computer.
Try the "Transfer purchases" option in the Store Menu again.

I don't know what generation of nano that you have, but I know that if you have a colored nano (blue, green, pink, silver or matte black), you'll want to post in the "2nd Generation" category. Otherwise (either white or black front and silver back) you'll want to post in the "1st Generation" category.

ITunes purchases on iPhone will not sync to PC

Recent iTunes Store music purchases made on iPhone are not syncing to iTunes on PC.
The Album Warpaint - Warpaint was pre-ordered and only the 'advanced release' song "Love is to Die" has synced to iTunes. The rest of the album has now been purchased and dowloaded onto phone, but will not sync to iTunes.
I have iTunes 11.1.4.62 & iOS 7.0.4.

Add'l info: iTunes purchase history shows the purchase & all songs on the playlist.

I have a 3GS 32GB. Since upgrading to 3.0.1, music purchased from iTunes won't play. Other music will play. Purchased music will play from the library on my laptop.
I have also been bitten by the failure to launch bug. Third party apps would not launch after the update. That problem has been solved, for now.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I has this same problem after upgrading my OS. I tried everything, reauthorizing, restoring, downloading new music (worked from iTunes not from iPhone). I got my apps to work by deleting them and redownloading but you can't do that for purchased music. Apple Support had me restore my iPhone as a new phone through iTunes (instead of restoring from a backup) after making sure EVERYTHING was backed up. Now everything works again and all my data is there and problem is solved. The only additional work I had was to reenter some settings that were lost.

Previously purchased iTune songs will not transfer to new hard drive on my

computer. I authorized computer through iTunes after hard drive installed and received message it was successful. When I connected iPod to sync, I then received message that items won't copy because computer not authorized. I then deauthorized and authorized again and received message it was successful. Then I tried copying again and received same message that they could not be copied because computer not authorized. Is there any other way to copy them to iPod?

It may be that the song album tracks are not checked. iTunes will not sync unchecked tracks.
Right mouse click on a track in the album if it shows Check Selection at the bottom of the popup than select Check Selection. Repeat for the other tracks. You can select all at once and still select Check selectiom.
The Album should now sync

IPhone will not Transfer Purchases, iTunes will not download apps.

Hey everybody,
My iPhone 3G S and/or copy of iTunes is behaving strangely. I'm able to download apps directly onto my iPhone, but when I attempt to transfer my purchases back to iTunes it begins the transfer and then just stops without any kind of warning or error message. When I try to download copies of my apps directly from iTunes I get the following message:
"There was a problem downloading “[App Name]”. The required disk cannot be found.
Please check that the connection to the network is active and try again."
I've searched around and found a few problems like mine, but nothing exact. A few articles have suggested a work around solution: unplugging all other USB devices while iTunes syncs. I can't really do that in my case because my entire iTunes library is on an external drive (plus it's kind of dumb to have to do that every time).
Does anyone know what I need to do?

You nailed it. I guess I've been putting too much faith in my little USB hub.
I ejected my external drives, unplugged all my USB connections, unplugged my hub from the wall outlet, plugged everything back in, reloaded iTunes, and now I'm good to go!

Song purchased on iPhone will not play on Mac

Last night I purchased a song on iPhone 5. The song automatically transferred to my Mac, I see it in the playlist, but it won't play. iTunes skips to the next song and begins playing it. I am using the newest version of iTunes on my Mac. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app (or video app) on your iOS device.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

Music will not transfer from Mac (OSX 10.9.3) to iPhone via cloud

Music will not transfer from my Mac (OSX 10.9.3) to my iPhone except for music purchased through iTunes. Hard sync doesn't seems to work as I use iCloud. Suggestions?

Only music purchased from the iTunes store is available to download from iCloud unless you subscribe to iTunes Match. Also, you can sync music using iTunes on you Mac even if you are using iCloud for syncing your contacts, calendars and other data.
