Music seems dammage when loaded on my Iphone 4

Hi
I use Itunes for Windows 7 et load music to my Iphone 4 and since I use IO 5.1, the music I load seems to be dammage when i try to listen it on my Iphone. How can I repair this point ?

The built in Proximity sensor is suppost to stop this. The Proximity sensor is right above the earpiece. Is your proximity sensor getting close enough to your face/some other object? It appears it is defective (maybe). Take it to an Apple store or call AppleCare (800) MY-IPHONE (800-694-7466) (This is the US number)

  • Music always playing when in car

HI I have a 3gs, which i have connected to the bluetooth in my car, A ford Kuga.
The problem is, as soon as i start the car up, the bluetooth connects to my iphone and the music automatically starts playing. If i am listening to the radio i have no idea that the music is playing, until i look at the phone and see that it is playing.
i then have to manually turn the music of on my phone.
This drains the battery somewhat as the phone is basically permanently in use.
Surely it makes sense that the music only plays when i select the iphone on my in car music system.
Any one have any ideas how i can stop the music playing automatically...
    Thanks
    Rob

    turn off blutooth
    settings > Bluetooth > ON/OFF
only turn it on if you need it or double click the home button then hold the ipod button till it starts to wiggle on the screen then tap it to delete. that will stop the ipod function from running in the background. you'll have to do that every time you get in the car if you dont want the music to play

  • Music crashes when loading a Smart Playlist

Whenever I try to load a Smart Playlist, it crashes the Music app. I tried making the playlist smaller, and it helped some, it's still extremely slow in opening - much more so than a much larger playlist I created myself. Worse, if it crashes while playing the playlist (if I can even get it to that point), Music can no longer be used until the playlist is removed and the phone resynced as it just crashes immediately.

I am having the same issue running iOS 5 on a 64gb iPhone 4S.
My Smart Playlists generally lag a little bit when loading, but one particular Smart Playlist, which is rather large, takes a long time to load.  If I don't do anything, it will load eventually, but we're talking a few minutes before it does.  Once I get it to load, it usually loads quicker if I leave the list and go back to it.
Reading other posts from folks having this same issue on their iPads, the general consensus seems to be a limitation of the processor.  The system has the criteria by which to identify all songs belonging to the playlist, so my guess is that when you pull it up, the list populates on the spot according to that criteria.  The bigger the list, the longer it takes.
Hopefully this is a bug that can be fixed in upcoming updates.

  • The latest version of ITunes has totally changed how I load music or photos on my IPod and IPhone.  It used to be I could highlight a song list  or cd from my library and drag it to the i pod icon and it would load.  Now, it's changed and I can't fig

I have a Macbook Pro operating system OSX 10.7.5  My Itunes version is 12.01.26.  Here's the problem:  with the older versions of ITunes I could connect a device and highlight and drag whatever music I wanted to load from my library to the device.  Now, there's a different process which I cannot fathom.  I don't want to sync my i-pod every time i want to add music; i don't want to restore my iPhone to do the same or to add photographs which were sent to me and then uploaded  to my computer.  Can anyone out there give me a step by step process on how to do these what used to be very simple procedures.  Thanks in advance.  Also, how do I contact someone in Apple who deals with consumer complaints?

    Hi Edward,
You should still be able to manually manage the music on your iPhone within iTunes. Make sure that when your iPhone is plugged in, look in the Summary tab to see if “Manually manage music and videos” is enabled and you can even you turn off Automatically Sync when this iPhone is connected. Take a look at the first article below to give more information on that. As far as your other questions about calling someone, I have provided two options for you. If it is for feedback on iTunes, you can use the second link to give detailed feedback on what is going on. If you want to actually talk to someone, the last link has a list of numbers for you to call for any support or service that you may need.

Have you tried manually dragging and dropping music from your library into your phone?

when I connect my iphone to my itunes it says loads of space is being taken up by documents , however i have no documents saved on my phone to my knowledge. how do I find and delete these hidden files ?

I restored the phone so had no apps on it at all and there was still this certain amount of space used up by documents ! I've already had it in to the apple store and they didn't seem to have a clue either ! Ugh ! Wouldn't mind so much if the phone was free with a contract but I actually spent 450 quid buying this phone and it's always full of "nothing" so virtually unusable

  • I want to be able to sync my iPhone 5 to my new iTunes library (new computer) and erase old music. When I connect my iPhone I have no option to "erase and sync."

So I have the iPhone 5. My old computer crashed so I ended up purchasing a new computer and re-installing and downloading all my old music and new music.
When I connect my iPhone to my new computer I can sync music but the old music still remains on my iPhone as well as the new music.
There's a lot on the phone that I don't want anymore but I can't seem to figure out how to erase it.
I don't want to restore the iPhone so I don't lose all my old messages and so forth.
I have all of the latest updates for the iPhone and well as iTunes.
If anyone has any answers to help that would be awesome!
    Thanks.

    Hey there,
It sounds like you are not getting the prompt to erase and sync your device. This indicates to me that Manual Syncing was enabled on the original iTunes Library, and becuase of that it is also now enabled on your new computer.
This is changable in the Summary tab of iTunes when you have your device selected, and this article will help you do that:
Managing content manually on iPhone, iPad, and iPod
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1535
Configure iPhone, iPad, or iPod for manual management
To manually manage the content, follow these instructions:
Connect the device to your computer.
    Open iTunes.
Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod. If your device isn't visible in the upper right corner of the screen, choose Library.
Click the Summary tab and select "Manually manage music and videos."
    Click Apply.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,

  • HT4914 I turn on the iTunes Match in my iphone3GS, but the itme of "show all musics" not show up and turn on, so when I open musics in my iPone3GS, the musics seems not be matched with iClouds.

    Dear Sirs,
I turn on the iTunes Match in my iphone3GS, but the itme of "show all musics" not show up and turn on, so when I open musics in my iPone3GS, the musics seems not be matched with iClouds.I means it doesn't work on.

    Hello there Jameskuo47,
In researching the issue you are experiencing I found an article that should help get your iTunes Match content to your iPhone. The name of the article is iTunes: How to add a computer or iOS device to iTunes Match and you can find it here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4913.
    This section specifically:
To add an iOS device to iTunes Match
On your iOS device, go to Settings > Music.
    Note:
iTunes Match requires iOS 5.0.1 or later; you can find the
    latest iOS software here'
Tap the iTunes Match switch to On.To access your music in iCloud, open the Music Player app on your device.
Your music in iCloud will be integrated into your local music library. A download button will appear to the right of any content that you have in iCloud that doesn't already exist on your device.
    Important:
When enabling iTunes Match on your iOS device, the music library on your iOS device will be deleted and then replaced with your music in iCloud.
Syncing music with iTunes will be disabled while iTunes Match is enabled on your iOS device.
By default, when adding an iOS device to iTunes Match, downloading over a cellular network is enabled1. To disable downloading over cellular for iTunes Match, choose Settings > Music > Use Cellular Data > Off.
    All the best,
    Sterling

When I click on Documents, MUSIC and MY MUSIC used to appear.  MUSIC seems to have disappeared.  How do I get it back?

    HI,
ON a Mac the Home folder (the one with a Little House icon) tends to be where most people have "Documents", "Desktop" "Pictures", "Music", "Movies", "Downloads", "Sites" and "Public" folders (Plus anything else they put in there and possibly the library if they set it to display the Library).
"My Music" sounds like a Windows reference and you list Windows as your OS
Seems like the question is better suited to a Microsoft forum.

  • Imac shuts down when loading new music or new software

My Imac shuts down (intermittently) when loading music or software. Logic board was replaced I believe because fire wire connection was intermittently not working (1st year).
Hard drive was replaced recently (Dec 2010). Now SuperDrive and Cable (Optical Data, Flexible) was JUST replaced. But when I was on my third CD loading it shut down 3 times.
Has anyone had this problem and know of a solution?
    Works fine otherwise
Apple Store has run software on it and everything seems to pass.
It seems to shut down less when firewire is disconnected (back up hard drive LaCie) but still occasionally shuts down.

I have plugged my computer in three different places over the years and have had the same problem. I have also brought the power cord with computer for work and I am assuming they would have picked that up when they run their tests on the computer.
Could it be the keyboard (never brought in) or WiFi connection (don't think they would plug in anything)? A combination of this with load software/music?
Thing is the computer works perfectly otherwise. It is only does this when loading software or music from a cd/dvd.

  • My iPad music seems to be corrupt. Can I delete everything including the back up so I can re-load afresh from my iTunes library

My iPad music seems to be corrupt. Can I delete everything including the back up so I can re-load afresh from my iTunes library
In my iTunes library on my Macbook Air everything is OK but whenever I syncronise after an update a back up is made and then re-loaded.
Can I delete this back up somehow and load direct from my iTunes Library ?

Depending upon what problem that you are having with the Music app, have you tried closing the Music app via the iPad's taskbar and seeing if that helps ? From the home screen (i.e. not with the Music app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Music app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't help then you can delete your music from your iPad and re-sync it back to it. A device's backup doesn't contain the contents of the Music and Videos apps, when you do a restore it gets those from your computer's iTunes library and not from within the actual backup, so deleting the backup shouldn't make any difference to that - if you want to delete the iPad's backup from your Mac then go into iTunes > Preferences (command-comma), and on the Devices tab select the iPad backup and click the 'Delete Backup' button.
