Music skips on Windows 8.1 64-bit with iTunes 12.1
Okay, this is probably going to sound strange, but its true.....
When I am listening to music in iTunes 12.1 and I have Google Chrome opened, the music skips. I can open any other application and not have that problem, just only when Chrome is opened. Needless to say, I switched to Firefox and now the music does not skip. Has anyone else experienced this?
My PC specs:
Windows 8.1 64-bit
AMD A6-3620 (4 CPUs) ~ 2.2GHz
NVidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti (4GB memory) Dedicated Graphics Card
8GB RAM
Sound Blaster Audigy Fx Dedicated Sound Card
1920x1080 screen resolution

The section Install missing components may allow you to install Apple Application Support.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

Boot Camp 5 guide prescribes all needed steps and when read and used correctly, installation must be an easy task. And all the existing apple hardwares work so good in the Windows environment too.
I am going to help out a friend of mine in doing a similar thing on his mac too. If you got specific questions, please do shoot up here and i should be able to get a reply to it (if at all).

Will i be able to listen to music, watch videos and take pictures and sync with itunes without a sim in my locked iphone 5?
You will need a SIM to activate it. There is no way around that. The SIM does not have to be active, but it must be from the correct carrier if the phone is carrier locked. Once activated, it can be removed and used like an iPod touch, but if you ever have to restore or update iOS, you will need the SIM to re-activate it.

Not working. And it didn't used to be a problem. iTunes can find the songs with Search Library, but doesn't show in any index (by song, artist or album). Finding with Search Library offers to play or add to Up Next, but neither actually does anything. Using File-Add to Library does nothing as well. The only way I can get the new files to play is to find in Finder and Open with iTunes.
I suspect Apple is trying to drive me to buy from iTunes store. Not gonna happen. If they don't fix this, I'll find another player.
This worked fine before OSX 10.8. -

If you want to copy music off then File > Transfer Purchases will only copy iTunes purchased music off the iPad. To copy music bought from other sources and/or copied from CDs then you will need to use a third-party program to copy them off - see the page that I linked to for some examples.

Installing Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit with Boot Camp
I am using a 17" MacBook Pro with and Intel i7 2.66 GHz processor, 8GB 1067 MHz RAM and a 7200RPM 500GB hard drive. I am trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit via Boot Camp. I do what Boot Camp tells me to do, but when my MacBook Pro restarts to boot from the Windows 7 disc, all I get get is a white screen! I have tried to boot manually from the Windows 7 disc, but it won't boot. It freezes on the white screen and I have to reboot the Mac using the Mac OS X partition. How can I fix this ASAP so I can install Windows 7? I need to get it done TONIGHT!

PSE trial 12 installed just fine but when i start the editor it opens and shuts down after about 2 seconds without an error, the only thing that appears is a message with 'continue trial'.
I have windows 8.1 64 bit and i already installed the latest video drivers, intel hd 4000 and nvidia geforce 710M.
I also installed premiere elements version 12 with the same problem.
What can be the problem here, please help?

Yes, its a shame. I have also contacted lenovo support hoping that they can sort out this problem. However, first response from them was 'contact your internet service provider since internet connectivity goes down'! :-/ I am hoping I have been able to get through to them now at least about where the problem lies. I wonder if anyone has tried using the laptop with the same broadcom wireless adapter with some other version of OS (linux, windows 7 etc.) and whether they still face the same problem. I haven't tried that yet. If this is just an OS / driver issue I hope someone somewhere is working on a fix! If not, I guess the only other solution would be to get an external USB wifi adapter but that is not something one would want to do when you buy a brand new Lenovo laptop. This was a big let down for me.

Is Windows XP no longer working with iTunes?
It looks like others with XP computers are having issues connecting with iTunes store. My error is 0x80096004. I am looking for a solution. Not interested in the mess that is Windows 8 and can't afford a Mac. I don't use my pc for anything other than a storage center for my music and video library and I like to manually add and delete content from my phone and ipad mini.

It sounds like you've done a pretty good job of troubleshooting the issue. I recommend that you call Cisco Small Business Support and see if someone can connect from our lab using a Windows 7 PC. The PCs in our lab do not have any software installed and usually have a fresh install of Windows. I am not sure if they are all up to date as far as Windows updates, but it may help to troubleshoot the issue if we can connect. I have iTunes 10.4.1.10 on Win 7 Professional, 64 bit machine. When syncing with my iPhone 3Gs, the iTunes "INFO" button yields blank screen. No text or information is shown. Worked just fine previously!

It sounds like iTunes quits unexpectedly everytime you try to open it so you can no longer use it. I recommend the troubleshooting steps in the following article to help you troubleshoot the issue here, named:
iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues
Start with these steps to open iTunes in Safe Mode to see if a 3rd party app may be interfering with iTunes. There is additional troubleshooting to be done in the article if this is not the case:
Start iTunes in Safe Mode
Open iTunes in Safe Mode to isolate any interference from plug-ins or scripts not manufactured by Apple.
Hold down Shift–Control while opening iTunes. You should see a dialog that says "iTunes is running in safe mode" before iTunes finishes starting up.
Click Continue.
See if the issue you're experiencing persists in Safe Mode.
If you have the same issue while iTunes is in Safe Mode, proceed to the "Create a new user account" section. If you don't experience the same issue, follow these steps to remove third-party plug-ins.

That's the strangest behavior that I would imagine. Are you using the default vista aero theme or you have turned down or using custom theme and visual effects?

I don't understand what you mean. If you are concerned about viruses, in my understanding copying and opening a file from the internet which is what "Save image as" does, is less safe than coping and pasting pixels. Copying and pasting pixels is the same as coping and pasting text from your web browser, it can't execute hidden code. If that was possible everybody will get viruses at the moment text or pixels are displayed on your browser.
By the way when you view a page from the internet, image files are already downloaded in the temp folder of your computer but only the browser uses them unless you open them from there and use in another program. So if you have a virus protection the images are already scanned. -
Upgraded from XP to Windows 7 & Now Nothing Synchronizes With iTunes
I have recently upgraded my computer with some new memory, changed from XP to Windows 7 and upgraded to bigger hard drives. I used to have all my Programs running on my C drive and all my data on the D Drive. I still do have it this way round its just that both the C & D drive's are new and bigger.
Ever since i did this i've had loads of problems with iTunes and my Iphone 3G. I'm now also having problems with my iPod 160GB and my 5th Gen iPod 30GB. I followed the Apple Websites suggestion on how to move iTunes to a new hard drive, but it seemed to lose files or put them in places they shouldn't be. For example i initially lost most of my covers and my music collection went from 104GB to 160GB as it duplicated a lot of my music.
Eventually i have found all my music and put everything back where it should be. iTunes is running on my C Drive and all my music is stored on my D drive. Exactly how it was before i upgraded.
iTunes now works again on my PC, i can listen to music and i can import CD's. The problem is that my iPhone 3G only ever says 'Backing Up iPhone' and never gets any further and iTunes freezes after about 10 minutes. Both my iPod's connect too but come up with a message saying 'Veryfying iPod' and again nothing else happens apart from iTunes crashing after 5 minutes. I'm currently running version 9.2 but i have read a lot of people having this problem have had to go back to version 9.1 or even lower. The one wierd thing is that i have an iPod Shuffle and that works and updates music with no problem at all.
I'm hoping someone can help me please as i have 3 Apple products that i can't get to work and i'm incredibly frustrated about it all.

Itunes crashes when importing Music File or Folder ever since i updated it yesterday
You can try downloading 7-Zip (free), or a free trial of WinRAR, and unpack the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe file into its components then try installing them individually in alphabetical order (don't try to install SetupAdmin.exe or iCloud.msi). You may get a more useful error message as to which component has problems.
