Music stops when msg comes in

All of a sudden today my curve started stopping my music whenever i get an email or txtr or any other alert.
up until now the alert has just played and the music kept going
did i accidentally change a setting? It's really annoying

I've been experiencing many software conflicts including your case (Black screen when trying to take a photo or video on Message app, instant dissapperance of copy pop-up menu, infinite refresh on Safari app and so on) I've contacted apple service many times (3 chats, 3 calls, 1 visit, 1 call with senior service engineer). It concluded with suggesting restoring iPhone everytime (or waiting for next update). I've restored like 10 times and it doesn't work till now. Last time I restored it, it seemed work well first. After 3-4 days, the symptoms got back. I've used iPhone 3gs, 4s, 5, but this time, 6+ with iOS 8 differs.

I am using Iphoto 6 to create a slide show but my music stops when it supposed to loop?

    As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

  • Music stops when screen goes to sleep but my headphones are inserted correctly?

I have an Ipod nano 6th Gen, and when the screen goes to sleep the music stops.  I have set up my sleep/wake button to play/pause so when the screen goes black and the music has stopped, I press the sleep/wake button twice and the music starts again without the screen coming back on.  I have read other comments and I have made sure that my headphones are all the way there does not appear to be anything obstructing the headphones either.  Is anyone able to help me?  Thank you

Solved by using a 3rd party music player that can access the library on the iPad and no longer using Apple's iPod app.

The music stops recording when I click into another window! How do you fix in Audition CS6?

For all the information about this, you need to read this FAQ. It tells you what to do (easy - just remove the check from Release ASIO Driver in Background), but also what the implications are.

  • Is it possible for my phone and my Nano to share the same bluetooth device?  If so, does the music stop when receiving a phonecall?

This might be a totally dumb Q, but I am so tech challenged it is pitiful.  Is it possible for my phone and my Nano to share the same bluetooth device?  If so, does the music stop on the Nano when receiving a phonecall?

No, the BT protocol does not allow for an A2DP device to be simultaneously connected to two iOS devices.

  • How do you prevent music stopping when receive a c...

    Any ideas?
I have a Nokia N95 8GB and have loaded it up with loads of mp3s and was thinking of using it at a party shortly instead of shunting loads of CDs around to play music on... however, I've noticed that when I receive a call the music stops, which won't go down well with the party folk, even though they'll more than likely be too drunk to care
Any help on this would be great.
    Thanks

Best option is to activate offline profile.
I've used my N91 8GB in parties as well, using the line out cable to hook up to my own stereo systems or my friend's and it's very cool.
What's even cooler is to get one of the bluetooth remotes so you can control playback remotly. One cheap way is to use Wiimote and the application (can't remember from the top of my head) to connect a wiimote to the phone and use the wiimote as a remote.

  • Music stops when launching apps

Brand new iPod Touch 64GB iOS 4.1. When playing music and then launching an application (most of the time, Google mobile app), the music shuts off. Doesn't happen every time.
    Memory? ???

If you are playing music using the native iPod app then it will continue to play when other app is used. However, I do not know if the other app also play music what would happen. If your music is coming from an app like Pandora it will stop when another app is used. This is because the presently multitasking is limited to a few Ipod) native apps. The Nov 2010 iOS 4.2 update will add multitasking for third-part apps like Pandora.

  • Music stops when PC goes to sleep

    Any help would be appreciated
I play my ipod through itunes for windows and since the 5.0 update whenever my PC (or laptop) goes to sleep the music stops playing.
I have to press play on itunes to get things started again then it happens again when it goes to sleep
This never happened until I updated my ipod touch so any help would be appreciated
    Thanks in advance

I normally fix this by pausing it, turning it off manually and then turning ti back on. That seems to reset it.

    Hello TheDonsCheek,
Thank you for providing the details of the issue you are experiencing with the audio when nothing is playing in iTunes on your MacBook Pro. I recommend reviewing the following article to see if any third-party plug-ins could be causing the problem:

  • Music stops when exported to Quicktime

HI all, I have made a slideshow in iPhoto, and attached music to it that works fine when I play the show.
However, when I export it to QuickTime, the music fades out when it gets to the 30th slide! Any reason why this is and how I can stop it?

What is the ultimate destination to view these images? If it's a TV, then have you taken a look yet to see how they display on a screen that does not have the resolution that your monitor is capable of? When you made the QuickTime movie, did you try to see if any of the optional settings produced an image more to your liking? But to make any reasonable choices, you'll need to know what the final destination is going to be, and evaluate how the images look there. An image that looks fuzzy at 1024x768 on a computer monitor may look just fine on the less than 640x480 resolution on a TV screen, and sharpening it up on your monitor won't make a bit of difference when the image is viewed on a TV screen.
