Music store is unavailable?? I cannot resume interrupted downloads.

"Unable to Check for Purchases. The music store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
This is the message I receive when trying to resume an interruped download.
In the middle of downloading a season of Scrubs, the download stopped. When checking for the purchases to restart the transfer, I began receiving the "Unable to check for purchases" message. The message suggests that the music store is unavailable, but this is untrue. I can connect, and have successfully downloaded new purchases since the problem started. I just cant "check for purchases."
I am connected wirelessly through a router. As far as I know, nothing triggered the cessation of the Scrubs download. I have tried (as sugessted in the help section) turning off the firewall, turning the router on and off, and restarting the computer. None of these options worked.
My system has-
1 GB RAM
23 GB free space
Microsoft Windows XP
Media Center Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 2
Windows XP

Have you tried disabling antivirus and security programs?

I was trying to purchase music through my shopping cart in iTunes. When a new display was shown saying,"The iTunes Music Store is currently Unavailable. Please check back later." I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it usually is that it stays unavailable.

Cannot resume interrupted film download

My wifi got disconnected and the film has got tap to pause and resume option but just says processing it refuse to download. I then decide to delete it. This is impossible I can't find a cancel download or delete option anywhere. I've tried rumour tricks such as turn off wi fi it'll pause then allow a swipe to delete. Left right aint no swipe option! Someone help! I just want to delete it now I have downloaded it on my iPad.

I have a fluctuating internet connection due to which my iTunes U downloads get interrupted. For example, a file that is 1gb is almost 900mb completed interrupts clicking resume starts it all over again. how do i get to resume it from the same point?

I have a 2011 25inch iMac desktop and it when I download a game app from the App store, it keeps on stoping and starting at certian points (these are random and do not stop in the same spot if I restart the download) Ive only gotten as far as 6.22GB out of 8:55GB before the download progress stops and goes back to the begining all by itself. I have plenty of space on my hard drive to install it so why is it constently doing this. Its taken me a week and a half to get to about 6.22GB and its still not letting me finished the instalation. Also why is the Calulating times keeps going up and down some times it says like 1 hour and 55 minutes when its progressing but then when it stops it goes all the way up to like 15 days, 14 hours and 60 minutes until it starts up again and then it goes back down to 1 hour and 54 minutes when it starts up the instalation progress again. The Game app is Trainz Railroad Simulator 2.

Disable anti virus softwrare if installed
Make sure the firewall is turned off in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall
Make sure Gatekeeper is enabled
Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.
Make sure either Mac App Store or Mac App Store and identified developers is selected. If that area is grayed out, click the padlock icon to proceed.

HT202159 Cannot resume my download

I was trying to download an app purchase , it runs normally till the mac is swiched on but after it goes to sleep or is restarted the download is not resumed it starts from zero , the purchase is about 12.85 GB and I have to restart it from zero every time.

This worked for me:
1. Go to the lauchpad in the dock, where you see the paused app
2. click and hold the app icon untill the icons start to jiggle.
3. click on the little x to remove the app
4. confirm the deletion of the app
5. redownload from mac app store

ITunes won't resume interrupted download of iOS update

I have the latest iTunes for Windows v12.0.1.26.
I am trying to download ios update for iPad and it takes extremely long time - about 3 hours.
EVvery so often itunes says connection to update server is lost and I have to start download again.
ANd iTunes is unable to catch up where it croaked, it starts downloading 1.4 GB again from zero every time!
THis is stupid and unacceptable.
Please fix!!!

Finally I got the download, and it started to update... only to fail with dreaded error 3014!
Now my iPad is bricked!
No previous advices for these error help me now.
I've repeated update a dozen times, reset my router, restarted the computer,
reinstalled iTunes.
Nothing of that helps. Every time it throws me error 3014.
Help. I am desperate, with bricked device.

Everyday I start download of xcode, at the end of day it archived several hundred MBs, but the next day the download start from 0 again, it took me two weeks and I'm still trapped in this!

Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General
Click the lock icon bottom left corner of the pane. You may be prompted for your admin password.
Select: Mac App Store and identified developers
Click the lock icon to prevent further changes.
Relaunch the App Store. From the App Store menu bar (top of your screen) click Store > Check for Unfinished Downnloads or follow the insstructions here > Mac App Store: How to resume interrupted downloads
If you still have problems ...
- Temporarily disable anti virus software if installed
- Apps such as Little Snitch, Net Nanny, and Hands Off can prevent apps from downloading
- Third party download managers are not compatible with the App Store.

'500 Internal Server Error' when trying to connect to Music Store

Does ANYBODY at Apple CARE that I've been writing posts for 2 WEEKS trying to get an answer to the reason why I can't connect to the Music Store? This is absurd!
Since upgrading to iTunes 6.0.3 (and now 6.0.5), I get a 'Music Store termporarily unavailable' message. I have the same PC, OS, and ISP that I've used to buy hundreds of dollars worth of your music - but since upgrading - I'm dead in the water. Norton is set to PERMIT i-tunes - but I get the same problem with Norton turned OFF.
When trying to connect to the Music Store via the following URL: phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/storeFront
as suggested in other posts, I get a "Error 500 Internal Server Error" - which according to my ISP and Microsoft is on APPLE'S Server - not my end.

Check whether your DBControl or ASControl service is still running or crashed. EM is not able to connect to the Management Server.
For instance in Windows, you may see that the Servise is not started. Then check for error logs in $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/logs for any related error messages in the log files

im using macbook air with os 10.6.8.
im downloading yosemite and my conection was lost immediately. and mac tell me that the download was failed. when i clicked retry the download wasnt in my dock.please help me solve this problem. thx

Unable to access music store.

since the 18/2/12 I have been unable to access the music store from my itunes main page. Downloads are still automatically downloaded and my ipod and iphone both sync fine. The problems start when either I try to manually try entering the store or put in a cd which will eventually import into the library after it tells me that the disc information could not be found online and the gracenote library could not be accessed. Could someone help as I have tried everything I can think of including reinstalling itunes, turning off firewalls (which have been configured to allow itunes through).
All help and further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Lots of people are having this access problem as a quick read of the forum will reveal.
Yesterday I reset my router and the problem disappeared. This morning I noticed the problem was back again. Once more I reset my router and once again the music store is accessed normally, but I wonder for how long.
Another point I noticed was that after the router reset i-tunes would not load at all until my PC was rebooted.
It's all very curcious and rather odd Apple is not getting to grips with the problem. Is it a time issue, connected with us now being GMT+1???

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
First, when you are going to turn off or restart your Mac, you will see a box called "Reopen windows when logging back in" in the shutdown or restart window. Untick this box and see if the App Store opens automatically in the next startup.
If it starts, open System Preferences > Users and Groups > Login Items, and see if the App Store shows up. If so, remove it from this list

I am upgrading from Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to Mavericks and the download is waiting. I do not have Launchpad. How do I resume the download?

I have been able to find documentation about resuming the Mavericks download using LaunchPad but unable to find a workaround without LaunchPad.
