Music through Bluetooth on Pixi Plus

How do you play music through a bluetooth device on the Palm Pixi Plus?
Post relates to: Pixi Plus p8wu0 (AT&T)

The Jabra is a mono earpiece, and cannot receive stereo music.
A2DP devices are usually headphones with two speakers, or as in my case, a motorcycle helmet system that plays music and phone calls as I ride.

Is it possible to listen to music through bluetooth and be on a call with earbuds at the same time?
I would like to be able to talk on my iPhone with the EarPods while playing music via Bluetooth in my car.  Are there any third party products that will allow this?

Sorry,  iOS will pause the music playback when you are on the phone call.  You can set iOS to use bluetooth for your audo playback on your music app, and select the earpods for the phone app, but as soon as you answer the phone call, iOS will pause the music playback.  This is a core OS feature, so you will not find any certified iOS app that will do what you want.
As a side note, please use extra caution when using your ear pods while driving.  It is not safe as you may not hear emergency vehicles, car horns, railroad crossing bells, etc., and it is illegal in many states (in the US).

  • Stereo Music Through Bluetooth Phones?

I found out that the iPhone is capable of putting out stereo music through the Bluetooth phones, but ONLY while you are on a call. Then I found this:
It appears that you can also engage this functionality by going to the voicemail screen and clicking on the audio source button in the top right-hand corner, then selecting the bluetooth device and subsequently selecting the iPod function and playing audio. This method does not require an active phone call.
Is this the only way to do this?
    Thanks
    Tom

Wow. I was unaware that there was any way to play music through Bluetooth headsets! I have a question for you, when music is played thru Bluetooth headsets and a call comes through does the music pause and the call comes thru the Bluetooth and then does the music resumes through the headset when the call ends. Or does the incoming call break the bluetooth connection?

  • Listening Music through Bluetooth Hadset & Car AUX (8G-iPhone)

iPhone 8G - Listening to music through Bluetooth/Wireless headset and Car AUX is not working or compatible with the 8G iPhone. According to Apple Tech Specialist, Apple is working on upgrading their software for this function to work with the future generations of iPhone.
When I hooked my phone to Car AUX or Bluetooth Wireless Headset, the sounds came out from the phone speakers instead. However, hooking up the earpiece directly to the unit, it work fine.
Very Dissapointing that there's no choice using the unit for music listening, other than get stucked using the wired earpiece.

If you're plugging the Aux cable from your phone headphone socket to the car stereo, the phone should play through the car speakers once you switch the stereo to Aux. My car doesn't have bluetooth and I use an Aux cable to play music from the iPhone in the car.
The 3.0 update this summer will add A2DP bluetooth protocol.

  • IPod Nano 7G - Issue controlling music through Bluetooth

I recently bought a 7th gen iPod Nano for running, but I'm also using for music in my car through Bluetooth.
I have a problem where if I'm listening to music with shuffle on and I skip the track using the cars skip buttons shuffle is turned off and the iPod starts going through the album/playlist sequentially. I previously had my iPhone connected instead and didn't have this problem at all, so it can't be the car sending the wrong signals...
    Anybody experience similar issues?

    no airplay support is required

  • Is there any app that will  let me  listen music through bluetooth headset

Is there any Iphone App that will let me listen music through my bluetooth headset.

No. There is no FM tuner in the phone. The audio from the TVs in the gym is broadcast over FM radio frequencies, they are not piping it out over the Internet. If there was an app that would let you listen to them, it would be specific to your gym.

  • How do I play music through Bluetooth in my car

I can make & receive calls through my Bluetooth in the car and can also listen to my voice memos. But if I press play on my music whilst connected to my Bluetooth in the car it only plays on the phone itself. How do I listen to it on the speakers in my car. I have the iPhone4 but have updated the software to 5.0.1.
    Many thanks I

    Which car?
TTBOMK an iPhone doesn't transmit music over BlueTooth.
I know in my car in order to hear music I must connect the cable provided in my car.

  • Volvo s80 2008 model works with iPhone 5 only on hands free mode. Should it not also play my music through Bluetooth connection. Even my 4 year old Tom Tom does that.

How do I get iPhone 5 to stream music by Bluetooth to my volvo s80. My built in volvo Bluetooth seems only to pair for calls and address book only but I can't get it to stream the music. Surly this should be possible my 4 year old Tom Tom even does that.

  • Ipod touch 4 will only play music through Bluetooth device.

My daughter's iPod Touch 4 iOS 6.1.5 will not play music or video through onboard speaker or headphones.  Music and videos will not even run unless Bluetooth is enabled and the device is connected to the Bluetooth speaker.  I have tried blowing out the headphone jack and different sets of headphones.
Will restoring the iOS help solve this?

As I said in a reply to your other post, it will help if you have a software problem. Not if it is a hardware problem.

  • Listen to music through bluetooth

Is there anyway to listen to music and movies through my bluetooth headset instead of headphones or speakers on phone

There are some devices available that work together to get BlueTooth Stereo and hands-free phone operation. I was just searching for some posts on the subject that I read the other day but I can't seem to dredge them up. I bought the suggested devices and have had limited success but someone posted the procedure for pairing everything in a certain order that makes it all play nice together. I'm looking for that post or thread.

  • How can I simultaneously play music through Bluetooth and AirPlay to my Bluetooth speaker and Apple TV?

Hello, I have recently purchased a new Bluetooth speaker and I would like to use it with my already working home audio system which I control with the airplay feature on my Apple TV. I tried to use the airplay function on my iPhone 4S and connect the 2 at the same time but It would only let me connect one. If there is an app that will allow me to connect the Bluetooth speaker and the Apple TV simultaneously thought my iPhone 4S or any other solution please feel free to let me know. Thanks...

There is not one and it cannot be done at this time.

  • Can Apple TV simultaneously play music through my stereo (wired) and a bluetooth speaker in another room?

I am looking at buying a bluetooth speaker that I could stream to from my Apple TV.  I also want to be able to play the same music through the stereo that my Apple TV is connected to. Can that be done simultaneously?
Ay recommendations for a good quality bluetooth speaker?

bluetooth only support bluetooth keyboards on the appletv
    Wireless
    Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n)
Bluetooth support for Apple Wireless Keyboard (requires Apple TV software version 5.2 or later)
    http://www.apple.com/appletv/specs/
if you can find a device which take in optical audio from the Apple TV and make it bluetooth to the bluetooth speaker then suppose it would work
but since it would need to be configured it would need controls or a webserver like a router has so very expensive

  • IPhone 4 stops playing music through AUX and/or Bluetooth

I recently updated to 5.1.1 and my phone will stop playing music through the headphone/AUX jack. Pulling out the cord and plugging it back in reinitiates the music, but it will stop soon afterwards again. The song is still playing (becauseplay icon still up). Thought it was a problem with the cord, but other iPhones (not updated--friends phones) work just fine for long periods with no interruption.
I checked out the headphone jack looking for lint or debris and did not find any, so I did a restore. After restore of phone same problem, random cutting out using the headphone jack.
This morning it is doing the same cutting out while playing music with my Bluetooth Bose speaker... so I tested it with my physical stereo system dock, again, music cuts out...
What is going on with my phone?
(Keep in mind that I've tested all my music devices--Bluetooth speaker, physical stereo dock, and car aux jack/cord with other NON-updated iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S with no problems like the one I am having.)
    Thank you.

I can confirm that I have exactly the same issue - music cuts out when using headphones.  Sometimes it goes from play to stop and I can click play to start it again. Other times it stops (but is still playing) and I have to unplug and plug the headphone jack in again.  Seemed tgo start after turnign on iTunes Match - Although the songs that stop are not in the cloud - they are on my phone.  I have disabled itunes match to see if that will help and will report back...

  • Anyone know how to synch music to an IPod through Bluetooth ?

Anyone know how to synch music to an IPod through Bluetooth ?
Welcome all advice and suggestions...I have an IPad but computer available....desperately trying to synch music to my iPod nano

Tech support is giving you the official answer because Apple does not provide a transfer from ipod to computer except for items you purchased from the iTunes Store.
Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only purchases from iTunes Store
For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software.  See this document by turingtest2: Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
