Music Transfer Issue

I am having issues transferring music from my Windows 8 PC to my Droid Maxx via USB connection. I have the box checked for MTP, and all drivers and upgrades for Motorola Device Manager were successfully installed on my computer. When I connect via USB, I keep getting a notification that I have an option to install Device Manager again. If I click on that option, nothing happens. When my Droid was recognized, I clicked the option "Open folder to view files." I am able to browse my device and locate an empty Music folder, but I am unable to drag and drop any music files into it (from iTunes) as I was able to do with my older Android devices. What am I doing wrong? Can someone help me?

Noika X6 music transfer issues.

I having problems with Ovi Suite and transferring music to my X6.
I updated the software on the phone recently and ended up having to restore the factory settings as the update got rid of my internet access points and all WLAN connectivity.
Anyway, I have it pretty much back the way I had it now apart from this issue. The music I had on the phone is still on it but Ovi does not recognise this fact. It also wont allow me to transfer or sync music from Ovi onto the phone, stating; "OPPERATION FAILED, unable to copy the tracks"
I never had any problems with the phone or Ovi before this latest update.

It's well known way to get the music on your phone but there is one thing where it doesn't work like it should.
When you transfer music downloaded from ovi player with comes with music code, you can transfer them on your phone and see them in library. The thing is that these songs are are still missing the license to use them because you didn't transfer them trough Ovi player. You can get license to every song by accessing internet with phone but you must get it on every song seperately. It takes about 30 seconds to get license to one song.
This is very annoying when you transfer about 500 songs like this way. It takes over 3 hours to get license to every song and about 2000 clickings with phone.
So yes, I am having the same problem and a solution to this problem would save a lot of time and effort.

Music Transfer Issu

I just got my Creative Zen Micro. I attempted to transfer music files from my computer onto my Zen. I did this through Windows Media Player . It would sync up but not transfer any of the music I have in WMP. I don't know what's going on. All this music was able to transfer to my Dell DJ, so why not the Zen Micro? Can someone tell me what's going on? Could the fact I have Windows Vista have anything to do with what I am experiencing?

Atleast its working very fine in Windows XP 32 bit PC, what about your PC and OS, 32/64 bit, music manager version of mine is 2.0 and PC Suite version is 6.86.9.0 i have installed on my PC. Could you please give the details about your PC and other information?

IOS7 BMW music transfer issue

After updating my iPhone 4S to iOS7 cannot listen music in my BMW with bluetooth. I see on my iPhone screen that the song is being played but the car does not.
When conecting mobile wired with the car, I can normally play music but when I tic random on the BMW screen, then I lost the idrive control to skip to the next song.

My old pc died and I had to reload itunes into a new pc. I just imported some cds into my new pc using itunes.Now I can't seem to transfer these cds into my ipod touch. I think its only authorized to do this on my old dead pc. How can I change or fix this? Thanks.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
First, when you are going to turn off or restart your Mac, you will see a box called "Reopen windows when logging back in" in the shutdown or restart window. Untick this box and see if the App Store opens automatically in the next startup.
If it starts, open System Preferences > Users and Groups > Login Items, and see if the App Store shows up. If so, remove it from this list

OS X Mavericks and HAP Music Transfer | HAP-Z1ES

After a week or so of frustration, I discovered that the HAP Music Transfer program for Mac frequently crashes when used on Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks. (It does say compatible with Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7 or 10.8 in the manual.)
I am now successfully transferring my music files to the HAP-Z1ES using Mac OS 10.8 in a Parallels VM window.
When will an updated version of the HAP Music Transfer program be available that is compatible with Mavericks (10.9)??

SCP log file transfer issues after upgrade

We upgraded out AsyncOS from 6.3.3 to 7.1.3 and now we are encountering log transfer issues with 2 out of 3 WSA's. Also the log rotation is set at 3GB but is rotating at 1GB. Anyone have any suggestions?

FIrst look at your log subscriptions for the access logs. Log into the GUI -> System Administration -> Log Subscriptions -> Access Logs highlighted in blue on the left side of the window. Check that your configuration is set to your needs. Next we need to review what is taking place when SCP tries to send the logs to the destination by reviewing the System Logs also located within the log subscriptions. Is the destination a Windows or Linux device ? If it is a Linux device you may also want to look into var/log/secure for the log information there as well.

Hap music transfer

I had to re-install Hap music transfer software. Is there a text file somewhere that shows all the music that had been transferred to the HAPZ-1ES? The new file only shows the newest transfers since re-install. Doe's the software make a backup file out of the old file? Does anyone know where the transfer list reside and when it is cleared does it leave a backup file?John

You may try backing up the files before you reload your Windows. If this doesn't work, then there's no way to avoid the standard procedure of the system.

Migration Assistant- Why didn't my pictures&music transfer?

I don't own an ethernet cable, so I decided that I would use my high-speed internet to transfer my documents, photos, and music from my (3-year)old Macbook to my new one. However, it took exactly 24 hours. Apparently, it took 24 hours to only transfer my documents folder (which only has about 100 text files that don't contain that much)
Besides the fact that it took so long, I found out that the user from my old computer was locked. I dragged the user into MY documents, and I was able to view my old documents. However, NONE of my pictures (I have around 11,000...) or my music (900 songs) were to be found, despite the insane amount of time it took to transfer.
*Why didn't my pictures and music transfer?*
*Is there and easier way to migrate your information that DOESN'T take a full day?*
Also, *how do I unlock the files* without doing the whole copying process again? For some reason the copying to MY documents allowed me to open them, but its going to be a hassle re-copying all my photos etc. once they've been transferred next time.

Get one. Better yet, if both Macs have FireWire ports, get a FireWire cable.
Or, if you have Time Machine backups or a "clone" of the old Mac on an external drive, transfer from it instead.
Then start over, but use +Setup Assistant+ this time. The problem with using the +Migration Assistant+ is that you end up with an extra user account. And sometimes the accounts transferred that way aren't recognized as the same ones, thus the permissions problems.

Above all please make sure it is caused by SMB. Sometimes network issue could also be caused by hardware configuration or limitation.
Incase is related to SMB version please test to disable SMB2 to see if SMB1 works fine or not.

Hi Demo, thanks for the reply but I've solved it. Heres whet happened in case it can help some one else, when I was sinc'ing with my iPad mini through iTunes it wasn't putting my music on the device, everything else was good. After trying 5-6 times I reset the iPad and set it up as new. Originally I set it up from a phone back up.
