Problems using Sony ECM DS70P Microphone with Vado HD 3rd gen

Problems using Sony ECM DS70P Microphone with Vado HD 3rd genXHello.
I have just purchased a Vado HD 3rd gen & was looking forward to using my Sony ECM DS70p Microphone,but after a couple of tests, the recording is extremely low & barley laudable.
The Microphone works fine on My Kodak Zi8.
Is there an internal setting I have to adjust, or is there a fault with the Vado
The Sony ECM DS70pMicrophone can be clearly seen in use here on a official Creative video.

This is happening to me too, I don't know if this is an Adobe Flash Player 11.5's bug or it's just my computer. All my browsers, chrome, IE9, Fox, doesn't even load anime videos. I tried reinstalling 11.5 many times, it have no effect but I use IE9 64-bit to run the videos that couldn't run. I waited 25 min for a JW player to load an episode of anime and I'm sick of it.

And what is the point of all this? CS3 is now 7 years old and Office 2003 just the same. Yes, sometimes software has bugs and compatibility issues. Beyond there is nothing here to discuss on either end, given the circumstances...

Has anyone compared video shot with an iPhone to that shot with an iPad Touch, and edited on an iPad with iMovie?
What was the results? Is the iPhones camera significantly better than an iPod Touch for video?

There isn't one. You have to convert the media to one of the ProRes codecs, probably ProRes LT would work best. You need to do this in Compressor.
Easy setup isn't relevant as it's options are for tape based media, which this isn't.

Does anyone know if I can edit video shot with Canon 5D or Sony XDCAM EX? I did some research but can't find the answer!

Which version of PrE are you looking into? PrE 10 has DSLR Presets that cover the Canon 5D. Not sure about the XDCAM EX, but this ARTICLE covers the supported formats. I know that PrPro CS 5.5 offers full, native support for XDCAM footage, but do not see it in the PrE list.

Music Video shot on iPhone4

Hello,
I really hope you all do not mind me posting this on here. My students wanted to do a "lip dub" video, those of you that do not know what a "lip dub" video is, basically it is a music video done in one complete take. The idea came to me that we should shoot the whole video on an iPhone to show off the capabilities of the HD video camera. We had a blast shooting this video and I believe it came out pretty good. The opening cut scene was shot on a Canon HD camera. As soon as the music kicks in the rest of the video was shot in one take on an iPhone4. I hope you enjoy it:

Which codec to choose for a music video edit with this setup?

I am using a new camera (for me that is) a Panasonic Hdc Sd700 and have shot a music video with two of these cameras. I am using Clipwrap to encode and the options as far as I can see are:
Apple Intermediate Codec (Aic)
Apple ProRes 422
Apple Prores 422 HQ.
I am going to use some effects so there will be several tracks of video to deal with. I have an external esata drive and another external FW800 drive.
I am working on a laptop (Macbook Pro) with these specs: 4 Gb Ram, 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Is 422 HQ to much too handle for this machine?
I still have much to learn .....

It's overkill anyway, just based on the camera you are using. Regular ProRes or ProRes LT will be fine.

Music Videos worse with every iTunes update

I have purchased a number of music videos over the years. In the past they played fine on Windows XP. With every iTunes update, they've gotten more unstable, beginning with the inability to preview videos on iTunes. (The audio worked, but the image was pixilated). The actual video played fine on the computer and iPod). With the next update, the videos in my library became unstable when played on iTunes, freezing and crashing almost every time (but still playing OK on my iPod). During that time, I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and Quick Time countless times with no improvement. One update eliminated the ability to stop the video and return to the library to make another selection. If I touched anything, even "pause," iTunes would crash.
With this latest update, I can't even hear the audio for previews on iTunes. I actually purchased one last night without seeing or hearing it!
When iTunes gets up and running again, I'm going to try to authorize my laptop, but it's also Windows XP. I don't have much hope that it will work for videos. It is beyond frustrating to have this problem for over a year with no Apple resolution. I don't know if this is a chronic issue with Mac, but it has been for me. Any ideas? I have this totally useless library of favorite videos.

Same for me - once I enter the password in the first screen I 'cancel' the second request. Most of the time then things are ok - it is a pain but not enough to stop me from taking care of business.

Geotag videos shot with iPhone 4S?

I know photos shot with the iPhone have embedded geotag data, but what about videos? If the quicktimes don't have geodata embedded within them can Google Latitude data be used to add geodata after the fact?

Music video, starting with music?

I am trying to make a music video for work. I have the song ready and have beat-marked some areas that I need to sync the video with. I am unable to lay the video out over the audio, however. It seems set up that you have to put the video down first, then the audio.
Is there a way to do it audio first, then video?

You can do audio first if you use beat markers. Otherwise, you must have at least a black background to put in audio.
Hear is a good tutorial on beat markers.

I have a wireless mini-printer with blue tooth capabilities/and wired. Will this work with printing out pictures on 3rd generation Vado?

Why can't I import videos shot with a digital cam?

I have a 270MB .mov file that was shot with a digital camera on my desktop. An unknown error occurs when I try to import it into the iMovie HD app.
