Music Vids show as Movies on the Ipod

My music vids are loading on my ipod as movies , so everytime a song is done i have to select the next manually , is there a way i can set these up as music videos in Itunes , or have a flow setting on my ipod ?

Hello Ditler,
And welcome to Apple Discussions!
Is there *Media Type* set to *Music Video* in iTunes? You can check by right->clicking on a music video and choosing "Get Info". Then under the Options tab, there is a section with a drop down list to change the tracks *Media Type*.

I had to format the C drive recently. I have reinstalled iTunes but I am unable to add anything other than music, TV shows and movies to the iTunes library. It is not showing any option to add podcasts, books, photos or apps. These things are available on my iPhone but are no longer there in the iTunes library. Please help.

In iTunes go to general preferences and check the boxes for those you wish to see in the library.

  • Can't Put Movies On The iPod..........THEN WHAT'S THE POINT OF VIDEO IPOD

I've tried everything to get movies on my iPod. I bought $30 QT PRO because I was told that that has the only format that can import movies on the iPod. After I bought it I tried to use it but I get an error -43 messege. Next I was told to then download videora so I did and when I converted it into an iPod file but I couldn't find out how to get it into iTunes. Now I am being told videora doesn't work. PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO GET MOVIES ON MY IPOD OR HOW TO GET MY MOVIE TO SHOW UP ON ITUNES.

For $30 I bought a program called DVD to Ipod Converter from cucusoft.com and it works perfect. I have now converted 18 dvd's since Thursday and each are perfect. I have my files set up when I double click they automatically open with iTunes then I hook up my iPod (its set to manual) and I just drag the file over the top of the name of my iPod and it loads to the ipod.
They have a free trial version you can try first but it puts a watermark on the file such as "Trial Version" but you can at least see how it works without spending money first. There is a Suite Version to do different types of files but I only needed the DVD converter.

  • Music video didn't work on the iPod

First of all, I apologize for my mistakes, my English is not so good.
I downloaded a music video on iTunes and I transfered to my iPod nano 4th gen., but the music video didn't play, the iPod plays just the sound, as the video were a music, it doesn't shows like a video, the iPod show just a single image, like a picture from the video.
What can I do to run the music video normaly on the iPod?

    Hello edu_h,
    And welcome to Apple Discussions!
How are you accessing this music video? Via *Music -> Songs* or through the Videos menu? If you haven't tried *Videos -> Music Videos* I would start with that.

  • I bought a MAC for the first time and plugged my Itouch into it to download my music on it, but is says The iPod "Rick's IPOD" is synced with another iTunes library. An iPod can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. What should I do?

Same as you would if you bought a pc; copy everything from your old computer to your new one.  Then you can just sync everything from the new computer, as you did with the old one.

  • Loosing sound while playing movies on the Ipod

I have been converting some of my movies to the Ipod format using "WinAVI MP4 Converter". The program worked, the movies were installed on the Ipod and are playable...for about 60 secs. Then it freezes and after some seconds keeps playing but without sound. Using FF stopping again will make the sound come back for another 60 secs.
Anyone know a solution to this problem? Is it the software causing movies with errors or is it the Ipod?

    That is the problem.
1.1 messes up the video capabilities. So that is your problem. The only way to get the audio back on your vidoes is to reformat your iPod back to 1.0. That should be on the disk that came with your iPod. But when you reformat your iPod, it removes everything that was on it.

  • The screen on my ipod nano 2nd generation turns black. It still plays music. I've tried resetting the ipod to clear the black screen and the screen goes back to it's normal state but after a few minutes the screen goes black again.

The screen on my ipod nano, 2nd generation, turns black. It stills plays music. I've tried resetting the ipod to clear the black and the screen goes back to it's original state. But after a few minutes the screen turns black again, while the music is still playing. What can I do about this?

That's just the iPod's backlight timer going off, signaling the iPod's backlight to turn off to conserve battery power.

  • HELP newbie please......... video wont seem to move to the ipod from itunes

got 80 gb 5th gen. slowly building up music playlist and also photos. no probs syncing them up as i progress.
But as I placed a small video off my hard drive into itunes. the itunes plays it.. but when the ipod syncs up, no video seems to go over to the ipod.
Any ideas. Ive read what I can. but it seems that it should juts move over like the music does. can anyone give me an easy a to z check list to follow please?

What are the specs for the video? (video and audio codec, data rates, etc.) iPods support fewer formats than can iTunes, so you may have the video in a format the iPod can't play. Here are the formats an iPod will support:
    H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per sec., Low-Complexity version of the H.264 Baseline Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48 kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;
    H.264 video, up to 768 Kbps, 320 by 240 pixels, 30 frames per sec., Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48 kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;
MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per sec., Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48 kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats
ive even dragged across manually to the ipod when its showing up as a drive on the desktop.
That won't work even with a compatible video.

  • Itunes app will not allow me to browse music, tv shows or movies - bug?

I am based in the UK and have just got a new iphone 6, everything works well except when i try to turn on the itunes store app -  i can do a search and buy music etc that way, within the app, however, if i go to Music, Movies or the TV shows section within the iTunes Store app, i get a message come up saying "Item Not Available - This item you've requested is not currently available in the UK Store, but it is available in the US store. Tap Change Store to view this item".   I therefore cannot browse the music, movies or tv shows sections at all, nothing shows up except that message.  All my previous itunes purchases have downloaded ok, and i can access them. My apple ID works fine and restrictions on the iphone are turned OFF. The App Store app works normally. Connection etc is all fine and I can access itunes  in the normal way on my ipad and laptop, so this is just an iphone problem. Any ideas? is this a bug? I cant find anyone else with exactly the same problem.
By the way, the same message comes up when i click on the red Music icon, on the iphone (situated next to the Safari icon) and then go to the "Store" via that app.  my playlists are in tact, and can be accessed in the Music app but as soon as i click that Store button, I am told that the Item is unavailable - not that i have chosen any Item lol just want to access the store in the normal way. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you can give

Oh, and you can click on the music icon in the top left of itunes, then the playlists tab in the middle to re-eanble the sidebar sort of. Then if you scroll to the top of the sidebar you should see 'devices'. Drag and drop the same way as before...
    Hope that helps.
