Music wont play after pause

I have a little issue with mpd+ncmpcpp.
When i start a song, and then pause it, if i want to listen to youtube fx. when i then wanna hear the music again it wont start.
When i start a song, it says playing for about 1 second, then just change back to pause. To make it work i have to logout and in again, or reboot. It's really annoying. Do any of you have an answer to this?

Here you go, my mpd.conf file

# This setting controls the top directory which MPD will search to discover the
# available audio files and add them to the daemon's online database. This
# setting defaults to the XDG directory, otherwise the music directory will be
# be disabled and audio files will only be accepted over ipc socket (using
# file:// protocol) or streaming files over an accepted protocol.
music_directory "/mnt/windows/Musik"
# This setting sets the MPD internal playlist directory. The purpose of this

error_file "/var/log/mpd/mpd.error"

pid_file "/var/run/mpd/mpd.pid"
# This setting sets the location of the file which contains information about

# state will be reset on server start up.

  • Music wont play after updating iPhone 4 to iOS 6.

After upgrdaing my iphone 4 software: my music library wont play any songs. It just skips all of them until it reaches the end of the list. I't seems that subscribing to iTunes Match will solve this problem but i dont want to pay for it. Is there any other solution that dosnt involve subscribing?

I'm having the exact same problem! Only some of my songs are on there. Like it will show that the song is there but the content is not. It keeps skipping until it finds a song that actually downloaded. I've restored my phone twice since upgrading to ios6 and nothing helps. I hate this update and wish I never did it.

  • Music wont play after OS4 update

    Hello People,
I updated my iPod this morning and I just noticed that I no longer have use of the music function. It loads find but closes itself after a few seconds, (4 perhaps?)
Has anyone else experienced this, is there a solution?
    Regards,
    David.

    I resolved the issue,
    1. Plug your iPod into your computer / mac
    2. Allow the iPod to Sync
*_I did two things here, not sure which fixed the problem_*
    3. Play a song on your iPod from your computer / Mac through iTunes.
    4. Add a new song.
When I ejected my iPod the problem had gone and I could play music again.
    Regards,
    David.

Are you referring the the small ? at the bottom of the page under this graphic: , ?
It appears that the audio file is in the footer of the page.  Move it into the bottom of the body and see if it will display and play correctly.

If in settings, music, volume limit is off then restart your phone first. Hold the home and off button down until the apple symbol comes up.

  • HT1386 My purchased music wont play on the iphone

My purchased music wont play on the phone even after syncing it with itunes. Only the music that I loaded into itunes from CD will play on the phone. I've tried everything to sync and reload the phone library!!! Now what?

Consider yourself lucky!  I have been unable to disable music on my iphone. Let's trade phones!

  • When i dont have service my music wont play even if stored on my phone

Most of my music is stored in icloud with itunes match.  I know that i can only listen to songs that i have downloaded from icloud to my phone when i have no service.  I noticed last night at the gym that i can get through one song and after that my downloaded music wont play.  I have to reset my phone before more songs will play.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

look in the headphone jack, if there is a red light.
When the red light is on it is in a digital mode, there is a switch in there that sometimes gets stuck.
Try a tooth pick, or a Q tip with the tip cut off and gently wiggle it around in there.

  • I have lost all my music and a site showed me how to get it back but the music wont play

My computer crashed and I lost all my music when I tryed to transfer all my music back into itunes the music wont play but it does play the new cds i have purchased from itunes
Please help as I have over 600 albums that i want to put onto my itunes that where there before my computer crashed

Media can be restored from the backup that should be kept of your important files.  If you do not have a backup, that is not good.
Since you stated you recoved your music, does the music now actually exist on the computer?  Do you see it in iTunes?  What happens when you try to play it?  Details are important, otherwise a lot of time can be wasted on irrelevant troubleshooting.
If the new music is playing, that would lead me to suspect that the old music was in fact not recovered.

i copied itune music from old hard drive to memory disk the copied onto new hard drive into itunes and music wont play unless removalbe disk is inserted

Then your iTunes must be looking at the removable disc, not your hard drive. Did you actually copy the songs onto your computer, or simply tell iTunes to look at the removable drive?
Highlight a song and click on File/Get Info/Summary>Where and check the location that iTunes has listed for the song. What does it say?
